DO NOT PARK IN THIS CAR PARK. READ ALL OTHER REVIEWS BEFORE PARKING. THESE CAR PARKS ARE SCANNED DAILY BY THIEVES, WE WERE UNFORTUNATE YESTERDAY, THEY SMASHED BOTH OUR REAR WINDSCREEN AND REAR PASSENGER WINDOW, STOLE OUR SUITCASES AND SHOPPING FROM THE BOOT. THERE IS POOR SECURITY WITH A GAP WHEN THERE IS NO SECURITY ON SITE BETWEEN 11PM - 1PM, EVEN THEN I STILL WOULD NOT TRUST SECURITY TO SPOT IT. AWAY FROM THAT THE DESIGN OF THE CAR PARK IS AWFUL, VERY DIFFICULT MANOEUVRING AROUND THE CORNERS.

Not safe. Security are not on site most of the time. So got my car window smashed. Reported to the police but received a call tellin' us that they can't catch the culprit anymore. Even the police know that it's common in this parking place. If it's common why is there no action been don. Not recommended for long parking hours especially between shift change of their security staff. Definitely will not go back to this car park.

Avoid! Not safe and not secure. My car was broken into, rear window smashed, and my photo & video equipment was stolen. Security attendant admitted to not being present all the time at the car park, as he also has to walk to cover a 2nd location. He was at least very helpful, and offered me some bin bags to cover the window. Police have been informed, and they said they aware of this location being common for break-ins. I highly doubt if the culprit will be caught, or if the CCTV is actually able to see anything. Only good thing was that the customer services team eventually refunded the £50 cost to park there!

Got my car windscreen smashed when I returned afger a couple of hours. Upon reporting to the police they confirmed it as a daily occurance and even knew about some articles that were stolen off my car, to my surprise. The disappointment is that the staff on duty wasnt bothered and said the security camera's dont work so cant show anything. Highly unprofessional and negligent!

Congested and difficult parking with narrow corners. Planning of the parking spaces are not good, who puts a pipe hanging low from the wall, even which you car sensors can’t detect. This ended up giving a dent and scratch to my car. I will avoid this space from next time, as its not secure (saw police catching 2 people for breaking one car’s window), super expensive (end up paying £50+ for couple of hours) and space is congested/narrow. There was lots of car paint of varied colours around the edges & barriers. Please avoid using this space.

Smashed boot screen and took all of suitcases. I should read reviews before parking here. It’s look like it’s happened daily basis. Qpark should be more engage in this problem if it’s continued like this. Then you will see the end of this car park soon.

*Be Warned* Stay away from this car park or any Q-Park Facility. Car was left Monday evening for 4 hours; returned to find the rear window smashed and high value items stolen. Targeted theft as boot was never opened during the visit. Read other reviews - this is a common issue and Q Park does not care. Q Park claim this is a secure facility. There is nobody on security, there is poor lighting, insanely expensive and very hostile. I would strongly recommend nobody parks here or at any Q Park Facility - in the event something happens - they do not care nor do they help obtain any CCTV footage.

It’s a car park with a great location in central London. However, it is ridiculously expensive. But then again London is overpriced. We pre-booked and the whole process was simple enough. Yes the car park is very tight, but we had a medium sized SUV and managed easy enough. I also saw a huge Rolls Royce parked up and it seemed intact. The worst bit though… the smell of urine. It’s awful. It’s clearly used regularly by unsavoury characters and vagrants as a toilet. For the price and location this needs to be addressed. Firstly it needs cleaning everywhere. Some chemicals and a jet wash. Then secondly, ensure the aforementioned individuals can’t get in; or at least make it more difficult. For example, I’ve seen NCP car parks with shutters that only open for genuine access.

Very handy parking location, have now used it twice. And after 6pm it's not excruciatingly expensive either. Within 3 min of most theatres it's a great car park, easy to pre-book and pre-pay. There is plenty of parking and quite a few floors so I've always found parking easily. At the moment the machines in the car park don't work as intended but as long as you have your ticket from the entry machine and your order number, the friendly staff will open the barrier for you in no time at the exit. You just need to press the 'Help' button on the exit machine.

NEVER PARKING HERE AGAIN. Despite reading the reviews where it’s blatantly obvious that there is no cause for concern to fix the security of this car park. No watchman or security present from the moment I entered to the moment I left. The pedestrian door is accessible to basically anyone to just walk in and not restricted to ticket holders only, so basically inviting potential criminals in. My car was broken into and our belongings were taken, they managed to open the window somehow without damaging the vehicle which wasn’t as bad as another car below our parking level which had its window completely smashed on the same night. Left literally helpless as the disclaimer on this car park is “we are not responsible for any damage or theft.” We paid over £50 which is already quite expensive, only for our car to be broken into. And the reality of you the situation is, as much as I can see the car park has responded and urges people to report it, what’s the point? Firstly, we aren’t going to get our things back or compensated back the money for what I paid for parking and secondly, it’s happened so many times yet nothing has been done to fix the issue. You can say don’t leave things in your car, but they are still breaking in regardless, so where is your accountability for your lack of safety and security as a service when this has been happening for well over a year? You want my honest opinion ? YOU DO DO NOT CARE. And why would you with the money you are charging to park there. DO NOT PARK HERE.

Awful. According to their timings I arrived 3 seconds before my booked time so they charged me an extra £10. No reply from their 'customer service' so they just took the money. Not worth the £25 I paid, dingy and smelly. A total rip off. Edit - In response to their response - you can't justify £10 for 3 seconds early. Just criminal. I emailed you at the address on the email you sent me so don't use that as an excuse for terrible customer service.

Parked at this car park on Saturday 13th August 2022 and when I returned to my car on sunday 14th August 2022 my driver side window was completely smashed. They took from my glove box apple airpods and my Christian dior perfume. No goods were visible in my car and my alarm did not go off which is also strange. My car is damaged by the glass and it took hours to clean the car up and I ended up cutting my hands. This has never happened to me before and really ruined my stay in london. I also paid a lot to park here. I will never use q-park again just because of the lack of security, lighting and safety overall. Intact they should refund me the parking fee. I am at a huge loss here. It was a very hot day and I had to drive to Shropshire without a window. Feeling sad since.

Pre-booked but on exit, the barriers did not open automatically as it should have. It also did not open after scanning the QR code; this should have worked. This was also the same for other users of the car park who did not need a physical ticket. The on-site team was nowhere to be seen and we were given confusing advice by customer services on the phone which simply wasted time (I had a toddler in the car with me who was progressively getting more distressed). Intercom on the exit barrier was also broken which was ridiculous. The customer service team also couldn’t get into the exit barrier system due to a fault in the system. Expensive rates but I thought it would be worth it - clearly not if fundamental facilities like the barriers are not properly working, with no staff available to help quickly. Incredibly disappointed. Two stars as location is obviously good and the entry barrier did work as it should have. I will not be parking here again and will be telling others to avoid this car park, especially if pre-booking. 25 Jul update: the customer service team has now acknowledged they are having technical issues with the exit barrier and has issued a full refund. I am still minded not to park here as I don’t want to be trapped again!

Like another reviewer, our car was also targeted during our stay at the Q-park garage in Leicester Square. However, the staff were incredible. The attendant is not based in the office regularly and floats between sites, which I feel is perfectly appropriate and cost-effective (unlike the other reviewer!) As well as the attendant - who I feel went above and beyond - the customer service department at Q-park is excellent, and their professionalism is exemplary. Thank you to all for making a difficult experience as painless as possible.

Anybody who uses this car park is a bad person. Such valuable city space shouldn't be wasted in housing metal boxes. Please do not drive into central London, there is not need. Turn this building into something more useful.

Be warned this is a thieves paradise. It's almost worth parking illegally and paying a ticket within 14 days it's only a few pounds more. At least on the streets you only get your pockets emptied by Westminster City Council. Park in Q Park Leicester square and there's a good chance you'll have your vehicle emptied as well as your wallet. I parked there last night and within 10 mins of loading a heavy equipment case of photographic equipment the tailgate window was smashed and the case was gone. It was parked right under a CCTV camera and in full view of the security office. However the " Parking host was out on patrol" A call to the help button suggested I call the Police non emergency number and get them to request viewing of the CCTV. You can guess the rest. All my professional networks suggest this is a common targeted crime especially with the Q Park brand.

This garage is either meant to take in subcompacts or they're trying to maximise capacity to a dangerous level. We spent +30 min. trying to squeeze in a space and we ended up scratching a post anyway. My worst experience parking in London 👎

Disgusting car park! Left our car overnight, £50!!! Came back to find back window smashed in and my Louis Vuitton bag hold-all taken full of clothes but left everything else. Security said it’s a daily occurrence! We were right under cctv but police said they didn’t have the manpower to look at cctv as it happened in a 4 hour window but would have maybe looked if 1 hr or less!! Were told by car park staff that it’s rife around all the car parks and that they steal from one car park then empty the goods at another. They found 2 suitcases just dumped in the car park today that we checked to see if ours but wasn’t. If police and the Q park know this is happening every day why aren’t they doing anything about it?? Asked the car park person why there weren’t signs anything and they said it depends what the police tell them they can say!! Absolutely disgusting that this is allowed to go on day after day!!

I parked on 30th August to go to the theatre , and retuned at 10.15 pm to find my rear window had been smashed in and a bag stolen. The bag was not visible from outside. I was parked by a camera and within sight of the security office . I reported the incident, but no one came to sweep away the glass , leaving me trying to clear the glass using a traffic cone to avoid risking my tyres. The notice in the security office stated that the guard was "on his rounds". Clearly the toerags who did this were confident that they would not be caught either by the guard or the cameras. Not a secure site as advertised.

Do not park in these car parks. They provide a cover for break ins. Our car was broken into at the Leicester Square site in June with alarms sounding and nothing done. When we complained we were told they had no responsibilities. We since found out this is a regular thing. In response to Q-Park response: No. It’s not one break in. It’s a regular occurrence in your car parks. No. It’s not a city wide issue. It’s in your car parks - away from the watchful eyes of passers-by and their camera phones. Parked cars are safer on the streets. No. You don’t do everything you can. We heard our car alarm going and your staff took no action. The police told us to write this public review because you do nothing to protect property.

Nigel at Q-Park was our hero today. Our car was broken into at the NCP Covent Garden and the criminals dumped our stuff at Q-Park Leicester Square. When Nigel found it all we picked it up and looked for our contact details to let us know where it was. He is an asset to Q-Park and is a genuinely nice person. We’ll be parking at Q-Park next time.

One of the worst car parks I have ever used. Just not fit for purpose. Modern cars struggle to navigate around the tight bends and ramps. You only have to look at all the walls or post leading to and from the up/down ramps to see how many people have hit them. Also some of the spaces are not long enough for some cars meaning they over hang. In addition to the layout of the car park being dated and archaic, the price to park here is ridiculous. I understand the location comes at a premium, but for such a high price I would have expected a better customer experience. Lifts not working, stairways blocked or closed, exits chained shut etc etc. As a customer you have to walk through on coming cars which are struggling to negotiate the tight spaces and it’s a accident waiting to happen. To the management at Q Park Ltd. This message has been saved and dated. As when; not if, someone is seriously injured in your car park at Leicester Square this can be used in the injured persons defence to seek damages. ***Added*** This review has been added to following the reply from Q-Park. Thank you for your reply. However, reading past reviews it appears what I experienced has been going on for months (if not years) Your reply to me appears to be a generic "Thank you and we will look into" which is like several other responses made by Q Park to others when issues and concerns have been raised. As mentioned in my first review - this location is a health hazard and injury hazard. Floors are slippery, paths are blocked and the general up keep is appalling! Plus the user ability of the site is very restrictive if you have anything larger than a small hatch back.

Easy to find this small car park, and if you've booked in advance then you know what you are getting for the money. There are a couple of blue badge spaces just inside the entry barrier. No, it's not cheap but neither is any other Central London car park. This is pretty central.

Good Central location but it's VERY tight to swing a car around the turns

  • 1/5 Hazel 1 year ago on Google
Parking isn't great around the city and when we finally found a carpark it £9 per hr. We decided to go in thinking £9 must be good carpark. Firstly it must have been built for leprechauns because you couldn't swing a cat in it goin around the were only in the carpark 2 minutes there was broken glass all over one carpark space,we drove back up the top nearer the paying station thinking it would be safer, there was a range rover with a completely broken back window and another car side window broken. For £9 pond an hr I'd nearly expect its person security guard.

Really don't recommend on the whole- whilst it is conveniently located there are also lots of closed roads nearby so it's extremely difficult to access right now. It wasn't helpful either that when we asked a member of staff for directions they sent us in completely in the wrong direction. Parking rate reasonable

Used this last week...Extortionate priced car park...very low ceiling and tight spaces...whole car park has a horrible smell. The parking multiple entrance exit is very out dated difficult for 4x4. They should use a ANPR system and proper CCTV cameras and gain trust of customers. When purchasing the 4 day special parking there was a missing email for our booking reference which created confusion and hassle for us and the security seemed dumbfounded

We prebooked the Q Park. The location is good, the spaces are tight and the ceiling is very low, it was stressful in a Range Rover. A lot of the spaces were taped off. The car park also stinks...of urine...it was disgusting.

  • 1/5 Angie M. 2 years ago on Google
Unfortunately there were pools of urine on the floor - it absolutely stank and soaked into our shoes.

  • 1/5 A. I. 2 years ago on Google
Such a shame for authorities letting this swamp operate feet away from the iconic Central London. The place is disgusting, urine smell is everywhere, not to speak about sanitation or door handle cleaning. Lifts were not in service, touching anything here puts one in at serious health risk, security is inexistent (only a person at the barrier that assists with tickets). Speaking about acces and parking places this is another joke. Ramps are extremely narrow making turns a nightmare and parking plots are so tight that you barely can get out of the car. Pre-payment means that you only pay in advance, you may find out that you have no place to put your car. Again, it is not the operators fault as it seems this is an issue that goes like this for years and despite all the negative reviews the parking operates in the same conditions without any improvement, but it is a major flaw in whomever should oversee and authorize this kind of places. I will place a reminder to all authorities about this place, a thorough inspection is definately needed.
