It was so good to come here again after so long, a place that’s really doing covid restrictions well and still manages to be friendly and give the audience what it wants and needs. Good prices and as I’ve said, the staff go above and beyond so it feels really like the intimate experience that it is. Located very centrally it’s super easy to reach. Glad to see it open and putting on great new shows ones again.

We went to see Janey Godley Soup Tour. She is brilliant, very honest, down to earth and brave to be able to laugh about her traumatic experience and hardship. We took our children to see Stickman about 8 years ago and I was happy to see that they are still showing the show which we all loved. I give four stars because the female toilets still do not flush well and toilet paper is stuck. I remember it was like that 8 years ago. They took our temperature before going into the theatre and Covid caution posters were everywhere, but NO hygienic toilets. It’s time to do something about it after all these years. Also, I bought a glass of wine, but I noticed lipstick on the plastic glass when I was drinking halfway through. Reuse is good, but it should be washed properly. The show is amazing and I highly recommend it.

Best customer service! I managed to get a Mickey Flanagan ticket but needed another one and they called to offer it, were very friendly and sweet when I explained I'd managed to get another one. Similarly the bar and security staff were fun and courteous on the night. One of my favourite venues!

I had issues with purchasing tickets online (the system was prompting me to buy 3 tix instead of 2). Rob their customer service was so incredibly helpful to assist me with it! So friendly and willing to help. Very pleased with his service! Can’t wait for the show!

Lovely and cozy theatre. Even the side seats have great views of the stage. Went there to see Nigel Ng (also known as Uncle Roger) live!

I went to see Dave Chapelle last night, tickets cost £152. Great show Dave was amazing. Shortly before the end of the show my parents who were sat across from me were speaking with a security guard. My mother had apparently been vaping under her coat. (Mind you Dave is smoking on stage). She’s told that what’s she’s doing is illegal and she needs to leave. She asks please to be allowed to stay and the security guard says she can stay. Then the two people in front at “shushhh-ing” and the security guard goes mental at them. Lol crazy. I’m sat across from it all not getting involved at all. My brother gets up and asks if everything is alright and my dad says yes sit down. A couple of minutes later I’m asked by security to come outside. I had no idea why? I go outside and he tells me that I’m getting kicked out of the venue because they have a zero tolerance policy.. I didn’t do anything? I was sat there the whole time and did nothing wrong?? I missed the end of the show for no reason and my night had ended on a negative. When I called the theatre the next day the lady I believe her name was Ross basically told me that it was Daves security that asked for me to be pulled out and that I only missed 5 mins of the show so I can’t be reimbursed or gifted anything for what happened… what the hell kind of service is this? I get pulled out of my seat in-front of everyone and then my stuff is collected for me and kicked out for absolutely nothing! I didn’t get up, I didn’t get involved, I didn’t do a single thing that warranted me being thrown out.. and still I get nothing from the theatre not even an apology, I swear they didn’t even say sorry to me for the situation. They just said it’s your word against them and how do I even know I’m speaking to the person who it happened to. Are you kidding me!! They offered to forward a complaint to Chapelle's security team if I write an email. Unbelievable, I can’t believe it and I’m not one for complaining but I figured I was so badly wronged in that situation I had to say something. Don’t recommend visiting with this kind of behaviour from security and then this kind of reaction from the theatre. Honestly disgusting.

Cute little theatre situated next door to The Prince Charles Cinema. Quite a small venue, so I feel wherever you are seated you will get a good view. Bar staff were super friendly and very efficient. Really enjoyed the show and will definitely return for another performance.

Beautiful little theatre tucked away a short stroll from Leicester Square tube station. We went to see Stick Man and it was fabulous! The performance was superb and all of the staff are wonderfully welcoming 😊

Really excellent venue I’ve been to three times now - have had a great experience every time. Prices are reasonable, seating is good throughout the theatre, the general decor and aesthetic is very friendly and creates the ideal atmosphere for the kinds of shows hosted here, and the staff are lovely. I work in theatre myself so I know that doesn’t always all come together easily! Had a particularly good experience this time as I desperately needed to charge my phone, and the woman at box office let me borrow a port, and was very kind about it - was immensely grateful :)

It was a great venue with excellent views of the stage. Staff very helpful good acoustics, but.....no disabled toilet, steep stairs to the toilets were a bit scary, and likewise into the venue. I was on crutches following an accident. A really kind member of staff was fantastic helping me, together with my companions assistance l made it! Bar prices high as all London theatres, but the show was brilliant. If only the stairlift was working and an easily accessible toilet it would warrant 5 Stars tbh. It does state on Website not suitable for wheelchairs etc. But l was determined to see the show. Thanks to the brilliant guy on the door for his help 👍

Lovely small theatre. Amazing comedy acts. The pre show bar is very small, seating maybe 50 ish people. So arrive early. There are also two bars in the auditorium so easy access to pre-shpw drinks if arriving late.

Small venue just round the corner from Leicester Square "proper". You might even walk past it without realising. Venue holds about 400, with decent seating and you're pretty much guaranteed a good view of the stage. If you're planning on going to the bar downstairs before a comedy gig, it's a lot smaller than the main venue itself, so get there early. The bar and venue staff were all very friendly & helpful. When I visited, there were two shows on the same night, so don't plan on spending the full evening there, but given the area, there's plenty of options for food & drink both before & after a gig.

Went to see Ben & Emil at the Leicester Square Theater. Seating is good. I didn't feel like I was pressed shoulder to shoulder with the person next to me like I have in other venues. My knees did lightly touch the chair in front a bit, but that's because I'm fairly tall. Overall, quite comfortable. Booking tickets was straightforward. Received a prompt response via email when I had a question. Friendly staff. There is a bar on-site but I didn't get anything because I came from Wetherspoons so can't comment on it. Parts of the theater could do with a fresh coat of paint. But nothing major. Will visit again if there's another show I want to see. :)

Lovely Saturday night. Very lively. Worth visiting. Lots of eatery to visit. We went to Mr Maco Pierre's Whites restaurant in Leicester Square. Atmosphere there was good. Service very slow, had to keep asking, three times for our drinks. Foods was ok. Over priced for my small piece of Salmon. Going there is a novelty. Should have gone to China town instead which is about 4 mins walk.

This venue has the feel between a comedy club and small theatre. It's an intimate choice to make for an evenings entertainment and the play that I saw here was perfect for this type of venue. I hope that future nights are as enjoyable and I will certainly be visiting this venue again.

Small but perfectly formed (quite hard to find if you've never been, though). Women's toilets fine, although only 3 and when I went no soap in the soap dispenser and no hand dryer. After reading the reviews, I expected them to be awful. But then I went to the 'other' ladies' loos instead of the signposted ones (avoids the inevitable huge queues for the ladies) As soon as you see the signs for the ladies loos next to the bar, keep walking through the doors so you're directly in front of the staircase out, and to your left there's a staircase down and there are men & women's toilets and a bar. On the way down, have a look at the portraits of stars who've performed there; it seems to be a rite of passage for most well-known stars. There's also a bar directly outside the auditorium and 2 inside the auditorium. Sat with a friend in I 16 and I 17 and had a perfect view; straight in the eyeline of Ben Willbond/Larry Rickard from Horrible Histories/Yonderland/Ghosts, & later Bridget Christie, at the RHLSTP (Richaed Herring's Leicester Square Theatre Podcast) podcast. Next time, if I can, I'll sit in 16/17 but a couple rows ahead. But all views are good. Even during the interval when I went to the auditorium bar I saw the view from the bar stools (with the stage set up for Bridget's podcast - they film 2 podcasts in one day) which was perfect, if a little far away. It's a small 400-seat theatre, so every seat will be good (apart from the couple in front of speakers right at the front). Ben and Larry and Bridget Christie were so lovely, spending likely hours meeting the 400 fans queueing outside (the show finished at 10pm, I left at about 10:50pm and I was quite early on in the queue. Thr queue ended up going all the way down the street). Gutted to miss Bridget, but I got to meet Ben & Larry (15 years in the making since I grew up watching Horrible Histories, as did a lot of people there), and they were so lovely, I managed to make Larry laugh & even got a hug from Ben 😍

Verty cute little theatre that puts on some very unique interesting shows. Drinks aren't too pricy and the queues for the bars are never too long at all. Bathrooms are very small so during intermissions be prepared to wait and I hope you're not wee shy. Seats aren't tiered meaning it can be hard to see from the back plus I was constantly up and down as people were trying to get past (not the theatres fault but you can tell it annoyed me).

Nice venue, but a 330ml can of lager/IPA was £6.50. If that's the price of live performances (Plus the the ticket price at £17), then I'm excluding myself from live performances. 😔

Show was meant to start at 9.30, didn't start till 10.20. More interested in drink sales than the actual reason you are there. Had to miss the end due to the careless time management. Don't bother

First off, five stars simply isn't enough for the evening's entertainment we had, so here's 10. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We always struggle to buy our friends presents for Christmas and my wife was looking around for an alternative. She found "Sh!t-Face Showtime: A Pissedmas Carol" and we can only say it was a laugh out loud experience, from start to finish. The compere was great, setting the scene of what was to come and explaining the necessary "health and safety" rules, etc. Once the show started, it became obvious who this night's "merry actor" was and, whilst deviating from the original text, into totally unexpected places, the overall story was carried through and completed wonderfully. Without a doubt the best night we've had at the theatre in a very long time and we can't wait for the next "Sh!t-Face Showtime" production to roll around. As for the theatre, it is a fair-sized place but at the same time felt intimate, the seats are comfortable and there is plenty of legroom for all but basketball players. Three bars, two of which are in the auditorium were well manned with, like the whole theatre, friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant stuff! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Comedians always make me laugh here but £6.50 for a 330ml can of lager takes the humour out of a visit The equivalent of two pints and two halves cost fourty quid. Been coming here for years but people like Stewart Lee, Richard Herring and all the other left wing comedians should make a stand to stop people being exploited by these inflated prices.

Great, almost hidden theatre just off Leicester Square. As someone with a disability, the amount of steps weren't ideal. But It definitely didn't take away from the wonderful night I had. Love the little bar downstairs because I could actually get a seat with my drink before the show. The auditorium itself has more bars (really appreciate this), pretty comfy seats for a theatre (and I've sat in a lot of uncomfortable theatre seats over the years). And the bliss of having decent air conditioning! Obviously the best part was the show (Rhys Nicholson), but I really appreciated the decor, with portraits of Comedians lining the walls. It's just fun to see how many I recognised. To summarise: I highly recommend for a good night out.

Can't fault any of it. Lovely intimate theatre and all the staff I interacted with were lovely. Good security and the air con was just beautiful 😂

Small but comfortable theatre, seats are well sprung and feel more generous in size than most theatres, as does the leg room too. I was very impressed by the 3 decent size bars, 2 if which are actually in the auditorium! I didn't use the restrooms so can't let you know about them. Oh it's well air conditioned and the staff are wonderfully helpful.

Bit dingy in a charming way, bars were pretty understaffed, but all of the staff were super charming and helpful. The thing that really threw me was that the only gents loos had one cubicle with no door? Was there seeing a queer show, and it seemed massively unsafe for anyone trans masc...
