Went to see the production of Agatha Christie’s “A witness for the prosecution” in a courtroom setting using the old GLC chamber as a backdrop. The production, performances and backdrop were excellent, using this space was an inspired idea and I really would recommend a visit. Unfortunately, as with so many venues, the drinks, snacks etc were somewhat over priced. But certainly not enough to dampen my enjoyment of the play itself. Be sure to book well in advance as tickets sell out quickly. All seats were full on a Wednesday evening, in the rain with a tube strike! Four stars as thirty quid for two vodkas in plastic tumblers with snacks is more than a little cheeky 😂 Please don’t let this stop you, just be prepared!

Not sure if it was intended to be so subtle but we would've missed it completely if it hadn't been for my son seeing the hearts (the view opposite is a big distraction)

Lovely old building with so many original features. We went to see a show there, which was an ideal setting for the play as it was set in a court room.

Excellent venue. Massive with lots of elements to it. I went for a business event. Strongly recommend making sure you know which part you’re going to and which entrance you’ll use before setting off. I was in a hurry, didn’t do that and soent 20 minutes trying to find my way.

Historic building that houses multiple businesses. We stayed at the Marriott and dined at the tapas restaurant housed in the building. Great views and close to everything

The central chamber is an awesome space to sit in, if you ever get the opportunity to see a theatre production here go for it.

Food is good at this fish and chips place inside the County Hall. But soooo expensive!! £27 for 3 meals no drinks! Very quick service, from seating, to order, food is already prepared and kept hot so literally, you order and you get the tray with your order instantly. The place is well kept clean, in fact lot's of staff literally "on your case/table", cleaning as you go along. I mean, that's a really good one. Who wants greasy high calory food plus a dirty place? So well done on that! Yeah, the whole idea of the food being there cooked, God knows for how long, isn't ideal but considering how well-packed the place always is, I guess food doesn't wait long under those hot lights. It's big portions, I'd say, American style and it's American typical fast food in the UK. Burgers, chicken nuggets, very greasy chicken pieces, but greasy taste good unfortunately for the calories consumed - definitely not an everyday meal!! Hot dogs, and sausages, all accompanied with chips or without but for the price you might as well get the chips. I paid £27 for 2x chicken nuggets & chips and 2 chicken pieces and chips. No drinks at all or God knows how much would that be! So yes, very expensive, but hey you're in an iconic tourist area in London and it's the only place available without walking further with hungry kids. I missed the days there was a Macdonalds in there and a Pret a Manger.

Originally in room 507. Temperature was too warm in the room and at 7am there is so much noise coming from the rooms nearby (possibly a supply closet near?). Moved to a different room for the next couple of days and was much better. We arranged for a taxi on Saturday night and we’re told to come and tell the door person. She told us she wasn’t going to call one and advised us to walk out and turn left. There were no taxis there and we needed up running (in heals) to get to our show. She just seemed put out by the request. Breakfast was very nice and the the service was also nice. This is our 4th time here in 15 years. The view is great and a very convenient location.

One of the most beautiful buildings along the Thames and often overlooked. Er, that's it, I didn't eat, sleep or visit any of the attractions inside.

Most amazing experience of my life the only down fall is that you can't go back in to view your favourite animal again because of covid. It lasted for us about 2 hours. Only downfall is when you pay online and try to add for under 3 it won't allow you too so you got to take the chance to bring your under 3. I suggest contacting customer service before booking just incase. It took my breath away on entrance. You won't want to go trust me. Take your time. Loved the penguins and the sharks the most. I also loved the virtual reality sets that of course is a separate price.
