Worst hotel ive ever been. Fungus in toilet and under shower. No water pressure on 3rd floor. Mouse traps on ground level. Sound and vibration from nearby subway every 3 minutes. Apatic and not gentle service (man is more responsive than a lady) . Very rude behavior when i requested change of room. Rooms are very small, barely there is any space apart from beds. Furniture is dirty and it smells of rotten wood. Overall I spent four nights there, and I'm happy that I returned home without any illness.

Absolutely Shocking!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS. £50 a night for blood up the walls. Sewer water that absolutely stank in the shower. A broken uncomfortable bed next to a window thats not double glazed. The train passes right next to the property every 2 minutes which vibrates the whole building everytime. The room itself was absolutely tiny. We left early and have requested our money back! Staff didn't want to know. The pictures of the rooms on booking.com aren't the actual rooms of the Hotel. Dont get fooled like we did. So much more wrong with this place but these are the main points for you to see. A very VERY easy 0/10.

The bathroom was gross and disgusting, there are no words to describe it. The bed looked clean (I hope it was), but the carpet was as dirty as the bathroom. We felt cleaner before the shower than after being there. Besides, the mugs were not washed properly and we were cold as heck, as the heater did not work and there were no extra blankets. The reception was a messy, untidy room with a bad-tempered woman that spoke a poor English, so we could not understand why she wanted us to pay after having payed online.

Very dingy. Booked a smoking room and was told on arrival the entire building is non smoking. Bathrooms are rather disgusting. I arrived half hour before the end of check in to an owner who complained about how he had been "waiting up" for me. 45 minutes before check out in the morning the owner attempted to let himself into the room unannounced (while me and my girlfriend were getting dressed). Fortunately, I heard him trying to unlock the door and stopped him. Considering the location, it would be a case of "you get what you paid for" if it wasn't for the owner trying to walk in on us unannounced and complaining about when we arrived even though it was within the check in times. I know it's cheap accommodation, so I didn't expect much of the facilities, but I at least expected to be undisturbed.

I couldn't review without hitting one star but I would actually like to give it minus 5! Basic they call it, I call it a hovel, I don't know how it is even able to operate. The floor boards in our top floor bedroom were dangerous. The shared bathroom had a note in it requesting that you put toilet paper in a bin rather than flushing it down the loo (ugh!) the shower was revolting. Nobody should stay there. It is disgusting.

The service was better than I expected. Every day we got clean towels, there was enough soap, toilet paper, etc. The water was always hot enough for the shower. For this cheap price don't expect too much luxury. The wifi worked, the room was small but we didn't bother. We missed a fridge and the last day suddenly all the hot water was defect. But again, it is enough when you don't want to spend a lot. I don't recommend this place for women, they will find it too dirty and probably too simple.

When i first saw the house, i was so shocked. Felt like cancelling the payment and find other place. If you read all the reviews posted, yes, they are true. The house is old, uneven floor, noise everywhere from the cracky floor, sweaky bed, the train passing by every few minutes and the sounds from the water tubing. The room is moderate size, with a double decker bed, a sink, a small table, a cupboard and a tv. Carpeted and stain everywhere. They provide you a kettle and tea/coffee for you. It has only 2 shared toilets/washrooms in that house. You need time to adjust the shower for a warm temperature water. If not, it would be too cold or too hot! So yeah, horrible experience at first. But, after spent there for 5 nights, it would say the place is OKAY if you just wanted a place to sleep. They provide a clean towel and bedsheets though. And they clean your room if you tell them to. Perhaps the owner should refurbished the house to a new look. Plus points: location is near to the King Cross train station and easy to find food nearby.

You get what you pay for. I wouldn't stay here if I was on holiday or for a longer trip. I needed a place to crash for one night after a few beers and that was fine. Beds were clean but rest of rooms and hotel wasn't exactly clean. Shared bathrooms looked like a horror movie, creepy. Very noisy from road outside, trains and other guests, creaky floors and thin walls. Cheapest place I could find in the area of London I wanted. Would I stay here again... not on my own.
