I visited the Who Shop today and I was delighted, every single one of the staff clearly love their jobs and they're all incredibly friendly. The nostalgia of the place hit me like a truck, the moment I opened the door I felt like an 8 year old again, if you're a fan of the show don't miss out on this little gem. The museum section was brilliant, lots of incredible costumes and props to wonder through, Owen was Outstanding, very knowledgeable and easy to talk to, it was great to speak to someone who has the same passion as myself, he managed to open up a lot of childhood memories for me and I believe that's more than anyone could ask for on a small tour. The whole team are brilliant, if you haven't visited yet, please do yourself a favour and get down there! I'll definitely be returning!

Definitely worth a visit and I honestly wish I could give more stars. It's not entirely easy to reach without a car but thanks to maps it's possible. The shop has so much merch, that it will make every Whovians hearts beat higher and the prices are at the usual merch level. The best part however is the Doctor Who museum. First of all you enter through a TARDIS, which is already a dream come true. The entry is incredibly cheap for the experience. The best part is listening to the stories behind the different props. By the way there is an audiobook playing in the shop as well so you can listen while you browse.

Probably the best Dr Who merchandise and collectibles shop that I'm aware of. An incredible array of items both new and previously owned. Parking is not so easy, there are a couple of free parking spots on the otherside of the road obliquely to the left if you are facing out of the shop - its at the beginning of a side street. The owner - Alex is amazing and kind - always has time for a chat. The museum at the back is fantastic. A must for any Dr Who fan visiting London.

This was so great. I guess some people might prefer a more sterile presentation but it was totally my style, like going to a mega-fan's collection room and hearing great stories about everything. A jumble of absolute brilliance! By fans for the fans. My tip is to ask them about random objects in the museum, some actually have personal stories attached that the curators will tell you.

Such fun to visit. A must-do for any Doctor Who fan. They have a great range of rarities for people interested in any era of the show. Be sure to look at the museum at the back - it £5 entry and well worth it.

If you’re a big fan of Doctor Who, their museum is well worth the visit! Small but packed with screen used props and other items they have curated over the years. I was by myself so I was thankful the employee in the museum happily geeked out with me. No pictures allowed in the museum but an employee will take your picture with the Tardis you enter the museum through if you want. You can call them about a week in advance to reserve your spot which is recommended. The museum cost £5 and is cash only. The hours are different from the shop and it’s only open a few times a week. The shop itself has a plethora of items which are also available on their website.

Amazing place for Doctor Who fans! The neighborhood is not the most friendly one, but the owner couple is so sweet and helpful. Be prepared, everything is quite pricy, but if you are on the budget you can still find a whovian souvenir. (Important: you can only take photos with permission!)

As part of our family vacation to London we made the hour long tube ride from central London to The Who Shop since I've been a fan since the late 70s and my kids are fans of the reboot. The Who Shop did not disappoint but you must make sure the museum is open. Had a great time seeing everything and chatting with the owner in the museum during the visit and ended up with some merchandise too. Eat at the nearby Boleyn Tavern - best pub we visited in London.

The staff here are super nice and have some stories to tell. However, the appointment process to see the very unfriendly - requiring paying ahead and being at a specific time etc - with threats that if you are late you will have less time or miss out etc. Not being able to take photos either? Seriously, it was interesting and fun for Dr Who fans of the original couple of series, but the process and restrictions seem over the top.

Great shop with great people! Missed the museum (only open Thurs-Sat). Great back issues of Dr Who magazine and Adventures. Lots of collectibles you won’t find most places. Neighborhood might seem a bit dodgy to American tourists (not as fancy as Westminster or Piccadilly), but it’s safe and an easy walk form the Upton Park station.

I am a beginner Doctor Who fan and I’m on season 8 of the new show. Even though I don’t know everything with Doctor Who, the people there were so nice and welcoming that I felt like I have been a fan since forever. The shop had everything you could ask for, I bought some DVDs of some episodes from the original show, and the person at the register gave a brief but helpful description of each episode. Without spoiling much about the museum, the person who led it was very welcoming. At the beginning, he gave us some pointers of why Doctor Who was related to Texas, were I’m from, and was very informative. He loved that I was a new fan and that a new generation was loving the series that he loved as a kid. If you are a big Doctor who fan, or even a small one, please give this place a visit!

I really enjoyed visiting the space. If you like the show - it already is nice being surrounded by all that stuff. And the staff - persons who love the show and you notice - the kindest people, so helpful. I would love to give more that 5 stars

Fantastic shop and museum. Museum is absolutely fantastic, plenty of props to see, from Marco Polo costume to the doctor's different sonic screwdrivers. Shop itself is very good. Got a few items from there which I needed. Pricing on doctor who products are reasonable priced. Staff are very friendly and got a good sense of humour. I would definitely recommend this place if you're a big fan of doctor who. Museum is excellent and you can get any doctor who merchandise from the DVDs to the radio controlled Dalek. Would definitely come back!!!

Fantastic collection of original items from Dr Who in the museum with extremely knowledgeable people doing the tout and running the shop. Great range of items in the shop to suit every budget.

Small little shop dedicated mainly to Dr. Who. There was a few pieces to other sci-fi shows but not much. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a life size tardis and dalek 's.

A great shop filled with a large variety of Doctor Who merchandise and the people there are very helpful and polite. The museum is filled with so much Doctor Who history and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Great experience, would definitely recommend to anyone that loves Doctor Who and is in London. I will 100% return in the future!

Doctor Who fans will love. However, getting to this shop might be difficult for anyone with physical issues if you have to walk from Upton Park train station. There is no parking anywhere nearby if you drive here. A museum is available to view costumes from show, Tickets are required for that, but the rest of the store is open and full of interesting Who merchandise. Our google maps took us in the wrong direction, so these are my directions if you arrive at Upton Park train station. Upon exiting the station you will be on Green Street, immediately turn to yBour right and walk down Green Street for about 8 blocks, until you get to Barking Rd. (The large beautiful Pub called The Boleyn should be on the left corner. Worth visiting.) You should turn left on Barking Rd. and go about two blocks. The shop is on the left. Walking down Green Street can be dodgey, small sidewalks, small roads where they go fast, just a real job not to get hurt. Be careful and have fun.

Not my thing, but was the hubby's dream to go. He was thrilled to see all the collections. Surprisingly to me, our guide and I had a lot in common. Turned out being a lovely event for us both! More than anything, so happy the hubs got his dream actualized.

Thank you for a fantastic time! The museum tour was amazing. We really enjoyed talking with you and listening to the stories. I absolutely recommend this for every Dr Who fan. We enjoyed browsing through the merch and all staff were very kind.

We walked from the Upton Park underground station. The shop is a little crowded but it has tons of Dr Who things at all different price points. There's a tiny museum that has a minimal cost...the two fans I was with (I'm new to the "culture.") LOVED the place & the museum. The shop people were very nice and the boss was working the register on our second visit. Lots of life size replicas & actual props from the shows. It was well worth of time.

👍👍 Awesome experience. The boutiques within are obviously high-end designer items, but the overall experience is lovely. Everyone is really nice and the food hall is SO COOL. Definitely hop in for a snack or a drink at the very least.
