So happy we have an amazing Bagel shop in our high street, I can highly recommend this place, Amazing salt beef and chicken escalope's. The Coffee is really good too. Very welcoming staff.

Their smoked meat is the most delicious deli meat I have ever tasted. On one of their bagels, it's perfection. Al and his staff are just as nice as his food is delicious. I highly recommend this establishment.

Popped in the afternoon for a bite to eat, not quite familiar with the area, so it was a first coffee shop I saw. Lovely service, nice cozy interior but the food was a bit bland I must say. I ordered bacon and sausage bagel, bagel itself was a bit hard to chew and the whole sandwich didn't taste quite right. I haven't even finish it which is rather unusual for me. Maybe I just ordered a wrong thing but I don't think I'll be back, sorry.

Best bagels ever!! We got the special - goats cheese, salt beef and chilli jam, all the ingredients were so tasty and the portion was huge for just £6, amazing value! The only thing lacking is the coffee, it was more like a bog standard coffee rather than proper barista style (despite the La Marzocco machine) so I think a bit of barista training would be helpful. Would 100% recommend either way!

Best salt beef sandwich we have had in a long time! Served warm and classic just right. This place is just as good as the salt beef sandwiches in Selfridges food hall, a real local gem!

Big Al’s bagels is absolutely amazing, had a bacon bagel and bought an ice cream for my dog! The staff were super friendly and helpful, the place is clean and the food is amazing… what more can you ask for?

Great place to eat. Bagels are great lots of filling whatever you choose. My dog loves the ice cream. Big Al gave my dog (Beau) a portion of salt beef too. Nice one Al 👍

Had an absolutely delightful pastrami bagel. Was thinking of getting the salt beef, but Big Al himself gave me a taster of the pastrami and I was hooked. No need to get anything else, get the pastrami!

Had an amazing goats cheese and chili jam bagel at Big Al’s at the weekend. The filling was delicious but the bagel itself is what stood out - it was light and crusty and soo soo lovely. Looking forward to returning next time I’m in Chingford. Yummy!

Been in many times before just for coffees but first time I ordered lunch. Had the salt beef bagel it was lovely! They let me try a tester beforehand as never had one before which I thought was great customer service. A must try for a quick service in chingford!

Really lovely little stop. My boyfriend and I were on a walk and decided to stop for some lunch. Before choosing what we wanted, the staff let us try the pastrami (which we chose). Not only were the bagels delicious, the people working here were really informative and friendly. We were given a complimentary pastry at the end. Would definitely come again.
