Had 1 sushi set and it was very nice and fresh/good quality salmon. Not easy to find a Sushi place around South Woodford; so glad they opened one . Duck spring Rolls taste handmade/homemade and delicious/crispy I post the New menu ; everything looks yummy

Just ordered for delivery the wings, corndogs and the octopus balls everything wàs delightful, very tasty reasonably priced, freshly made and still warm on delivery. Good treat for the kids

The food is really great value. I'm scoring 5* based on taste v cost. We really enjoyed eating here. It's not very homely place to come though, it's ok, but delivery well worth trying.

I ordered duck ramen - the meat was a bit dry but everything else was delicious!! I also got popcorn chicken with Korean sweet chilli sauce

Poor quality food, please AVOID!. Me and my friends ordered the katsu chicken curry that was recommended by the staff - it was very salty and chicken was not fresh. The cheese corndog was very oily and gave an upset stomach later that night. Staff were not customer friendly and didn’t know how to advise or provide compensation. Majority of food went to waste. We were told to come back the next day to speak to the manager who was also rude and unprofessional - WASTE of trip and money.

I recently had an incredible dining experience at Nasi Isda South Woodford, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the friendly and attentive staff, everything was simply top-notch. But of course, the real star of the show was the food. Every dish I tried was expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and bold flavors. One standout was the beef donbury, a traditional Japanese dish that featured tender slices of beef, caramelized onions, and a savory sauce served over fluffy rice. It was easily one of the best dishes on the menu and a true standout in a meal full of outstanding flavors and textures. Overall, Nasi Isda South Woodford is a must-visit for any foodie or anyone who appreciates a great meal.

The two members of staff working there yesterday evening, said they didn’t know how to do refunds and advised us to come the next day to speak to the manager. We had also asked for some advice regarding food on the menu, but the member of staff had no clue. Alongside this, the sushi was stale and when me and my friend were sharing a fizzy drink we asked for a spare glass. We were given a bowl to drink out of! A BOWL?!! We also ordered duck boa buns, the duck was so stiff my friend couldn’t eat it. My friend went back the next day and the manager was not giving a refund and also said he didn’t know how to do it. I then spoke to him on the phone as he refused numerous times and explained how unwell I felt from the food, after arguing with me, he huffed and cut the phone call. We are extremely disappointed in the Customer Service, it was outrageous. Poor quality food, poor service. Please do avoid at all costs. The 2 katsu curry’s and corn dog was not eaten.

Absolutely terrible food. Ordered through ubereats. The only nice thing was the beef bao buns. Ordered the katsu curry and it was a big disappointment. Firstly they missed out the curry and had to have it redelivered. No salt in the food and lacking any flavour. Not authentic at all. My friend ended up with food poisoning. Never ordering from here again!!

Brilliant new sushi & ramen spot! I'm hooked! 🥳 Wonderfully tasty & fresh sushi, with a variety of options. They also offer hot food (soups, ramen, curries, gyoza & starter snacks). Quality of hot food used to be consistently good here, but not anymore. Now, it seems to depend on the day, on the mood, on the weather!? The enthusiasm is there, but the standard dropped. Sometimes the garnish is served like this, other times like that. Sometimes the portion size of chicken / beef or rice is done one way, other times another way. Consistency is not quite there anymore and more often than not I am left with the feeling it was only barely "okay". It will take a while to rebuild trust in this place for me to have a delicious meal.

Sushi was okay. We went towards the end of the day and they didn't make the sushi fresh for us. Whatever they had in the fridge was it. This was disappointing as the rice was very compact and made the sushi chewy. We ordered the wings which were nice and the price point is great. I would go again but only order the sashimi and no sushi rice. Fish was fresh, it is very cheap compared to other sushi places. I would try the hot foods next time. Good price point

Absolutely fantastic food and beyond amazing customer service. Deliveroo driver stole half our food (!!) and the guy at Nasi apologised, is investigating it, plus delivered the rest of the delicious food himself! Cannot fault this place. BRILLIANT!

My daughter and I sat in and had a Chicken Katsu Curry and a Salmon Rice Bowl. A hot drink option e.g. jasmine tea would have been a great addition. The food was good and we will be back.

Very good quality food, family loves it and it's one of the only places we'll go to often, as we don't like buying food if we already have it at home.

One of the best sushi restaurants I’ve come across. All the food we ordered was freshly made, and delicious. We could see the chef putting the sushi together which was exciting. We also tried some of the fruit flavoured drinks, those were great too. Will definitely be come back here!

Gave it a chance and was pleasantly surprised after some other disappointing restaurants in the area. Chef on duty was super friendly and recommended great options form the menu. Rolled our sushi to order, and it was reasonably priced. We will be back!
