My favourite garden centre in the area by far. The staff are super helpful, great quality plants and what a lovely cafe serving all home made food. Just wonderful.

One of our favorite spots for reasonably priced, quality flowers, trees and bedding plants. Great selection of pots and planters as well. Indoor plants and gifts section well stocked, though some home goods a bit pricey. Cafe is worth trying for nice tea and cakes!

Despite the beauty of the nursery, the till staff's behavior unfortunately leaves much to be desired. In particular, a girl with reddish hair looked me up and down in a nasty manner even before I had a chance to ask my question. To make matters worse, she did not greet me. When I inquired about indoor plants that assist with air purification, her immediate response was to laugh and comment to another cashier, "Plants that purify the air? There's no such thing." However, I proceeded to explain that such plants do exist, yet they continued to laugh and called someone else, who confirmed that they did indeed have plants with air purifying properties. As I walked back to the plant section, they continued to laugh and speak loudly about my question which according to them they deemed to be stupid. On the positive side, the staff near the plants themselves were very knowledgeable and promptly assisted me once I approached them. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the cashier's handling of my question, and they informed me that complaints about those specific girls were not uncommon at the nursery. I also spoke to the manager, who seemed unaware of the rudeness displayed by the staff. Although he offered me a 10% discount on my plants, I declined as my intention was not to obtain a discount but to bring attention to the issue.

This is large Garden Centre within the grounds of the fabulous Ally Pally. A rustic, pleasant atmosphere with a huge array of Pots, Planters and garden accessories which is matched by the great variety of plants – both indoor and outdoor, as well as the enormous range of seeds. Their website is accurate and extremely easy to navigate for merchandise. Other Garden Centres have websites that are vague, so near impossible to search for specific items of stock. Perhaps, some of the indoor area could do with some sprucing up but all in all this Garden Centre is outstanding and I’m very happy with my purchase. I’ll definitely visit again, and I highly recommend this place.

A brilliant overall experience. Amazing variety of plants, shrubs and trees. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The transport links are excellent. The W3 bus will take you right outside the centre. There is a small car park, but it can get busy so you'll need to go early. You can visit the cafe for a small bite to eat, it's conveniently located just by the garden centre. Prices are a little bit on the expensive side, but it's the quality and experience that makes it worth while.

A very pleasant and useful garden centre inside the grounds of Alexandra Palace. Plenty of plants, and small garden appliances. The cafe is also a peace oasis after shopping around.

The cafe here is missing such a great opportunity. It could be popular as it’s a great location, however, I’ve had better food at a petrol station! Drinks were fine, but my bacon sandwich on mothers pride bread was with margarine with ketchup already added, along with a side salad and crisps. Not good sandwich and strange combination. I only ate here as I was so hungry. Everything looked old from the croissants to the greggs like sausage roll. How about some smoked salmon bagels as a suggestion and fresh cakes. No wonder we saw no one else eating.

Bigger than you would imagine, and variety is great. Garden furniture and grills are sold here, too. The garden furniture shop assistant was a black cat who goes out of the door to take a break and then goes back to the shop through the staff door. The garden cafe has nice roof top tables with parasols. It's a really nice place to visit. The parking spaces are quite tight, so you may struggle if you come in a big car.

So many plants of all shapes and sizes albeit a little pricey but it's to be expected considering the convenient location. We found some beautiful plants for our planters at home. It wasn't easy deciding as there is a lot of variety here. At the very least you'll learn something new about plants . It's nice that they have a cafe if you need to sit down and relax for a moment. Lots more inside as well, we didn't even have a chance to take a look at the house plants . Well worth a visit if you're in the area

The cafe location is lovely and only a little on the pricy side but the service was very slow, with a mix-up in the order. One coffee cup was barely half-filled (not evident under the foam head) and when I went back to request a full cup I was told I would have to pay an extra 50p for the mistake in the order, which pettiness spoiled what would otherwise have been an enjoyable break.

Great garden centre, huge selection of outdoor plants and pots, and also a really good selection of houseplants, including some you wouldn’t find in your run of the mill garden centres. I picked up a cool little dioscorea elephantipes on my last visit. The cafe has quite a good selection of food and drinks but doesn’t seem to have much in the way of vegan food. All in all, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Cafe staff very nice and willing but coffee machine always broken - took 20 mins today to get see our coffees - and coffee quality varies and is often weak. We are a large group of regulars and give regular feedback. Such a shame cos a great spot.

What a lovely garden centre. A fantastic selection of both indoor and outdoor plants, all looking very healthy. Cafe was sweet and simple, with indoor and outdoor seating. Cashier was friendly and helpful.

Sat to have coffee with a friend and decided to have a pastry and a cake ...unfortunately both were stale. Not the first time either. Paid £15 down the drain. We didn't complain cos we didn't have much time and wanted to chat as we hadn't seen each other in year. Definitely NOT GOING BACK AGAIN

Cafe used to be a favourite place for lunch, but in recent months has had unacceptably poor stock control, with virtually nothing in stock particularly after 12pm. What on Earth happened to this place? It used to have lots of fresh mouth-watering cakes and pastries, now there are only ever a sad looking vegan bake and some packaged biscuits. The overwhelming impression now is that they just can't be bothered.
