When you read “boutique hotel” you tend to set your expectations quite high. The Pelham really fell short to that expectation. The hotel is pretty worn down. The wooden floor in the lobby is reminiscent of the far west saloons in the Gunsmoke TV series. The carpet flooring in the room was disgusting (fortunately, the hotel provides slippers). Even on the fourth floor you can hear the Tube (Subway) rattle your room floor every five minutes. Paper thin walls allow you to hear neighboring guests’ conversations and other noises. Could only get a couple of hours of shuteye last night. They also did not turn down our room, and when we called the concierge to let them know, they informed us there was “no time” as they leave at 5. Most definitely not 5 stars. Definitely not a good value. Would definitely not come back or recommend.

About 15 years ago I visited this Hotel. It was a great experience to stay at it, enjoying many types of Fragrance from organic herbs, for morning ,daytime and night they served. If possible, I’d like to visit this hotel again this year.

As classy as a top-end London boutique hotel should be. Calm and efficient staff, beautiful spotless room and bathroom, and super friendly service.

5 stars for the device and the staff and 1 star for the hotel itself. I haven't seen the hotel staff so loyal and dedicated to please the customer!!! If I start a hotel in London I would certainly hire the staff from Pelham giving them 1.5 times salary. Now to the review, we booked this hotel for 3 during Christmas holidays, the hotel is in the key location of London, many museums and tourist places are at walkable distance. The subway station is in front of the hotel. The rooms are cozy and not suitable for 3 adults. The third bed they provide could make you very uncomfortable!!! In our room they fixed the third bed and then there was no space to walk for us. The rooms are good for two only, I should also say that they were clean, and well prepared for the guests. Upon my request they removed the two chairs the next day which gave a bit more room to walk or not bump into each other at every step. Bathrooms are remodeled, there was enough space to hang our jackets and other clothes. The heater didn't warm up the room uniformly, we felt very warm sometimes in the night and otherwise cold. I would stay again at this hotel for their service and location!!! They also have a restaurant in the basement or level below the ground, we had the continental breakfast everyday, if you want some protein you might have to order it on top of your included breakfast. The restaurant staff was good, friendly!!!

We were at the Pelham London in South Kensington for a friend’s wedding. We started with drinks and nibbles at their downstairs gallery room. The finger food was delicious and the staff were extremely friendly. The room had a great decor and old school vibe. Loved the fat man painting. We headed upstairs to a private room with a nicely decorated dining table. The food was good and the staff again were incredible. This is a great place for a small group gathering and offers great food and service.

The room was too small and apparently could not be changed. It also was not cleaned after returning to the hotel in the evening which was inconvenient. The Wi-Fi was not working which was highly inconvenient as I had to be roaming on my overseas network.

My 1st time to London England and The Pelham London made my stay that much more enjoyable. Originally had a standard room but since I was staying 11nights, I asked to see if there was a bigger room available. This room was more spacious and extremely comfortable. Thank you to the desk clerk who made the switch so seem less and smooth. The in-house restaurant had delicious breakfast every morning I was there but can be a bit busy with not enough staff to tend to all the guests, but still excellent. The hotel is right across from the subway station and lots of bus stops all around. Very convenient location and extremely friendly staff. Highly recommended if you want to stay at a cozy hotel.

Hotel in a good location the staff seemed unsure as to the procedures at check in and no explanation of any hotel facilities. The room was clean but looked tired in places and for the money they charge you wouldn't expect it.

I made a mistake with my booking & the staff could not have made more of an effort to accommodate us. 1st class customer service! A gem of a hotel in a great location

Very nice hotel and staff was amazing. Hotel is small and the room we stayed in was small and simple but the staff more than made up for it. We moved to a much larger room the last night which was great. We would recommend this hotel for sure!

I really enjoyed my staying at the Pepham the room was cosy and the staff were nice. The only problem is the room carpet and the wallpaper were full of spots weren’t clean. And the bathroom radiator didn’t work

The single room was on a half level, the front door was hard to open and the room was very cold even after the heating was on had no effect. The main window of the room was simply looking at a roof top covered in pigeon guano. My mother in law was not happy at all.

Scam hotel definitely a 3 star hotel not 5 Star! I've stayed in many 5 star hotels and this is not one! Booked two beds and on arrival offered me and my mum a double bed to share. It's disgusting and they said they will still charge me a cancellation fee around £400 even though I had evidence showing I booked two beds. Ruined my mum birthday treat! DO NOT STAY HERE SCAM SCAM SCAM.

Loved our stay. Great and responsive staff. Decent size room and great bed with strong AC. Lovely breakfast with solid coffee. Perfectly close to the Underground, many shops and restaurants, and the natural history museum. No question I'd stay again.

The location here was perfect for us. There are dozens of pubs and restaurants just feet away, and there is an Underground station just across the street, and museums and Kensington Palace are a short walk away. While the area around us is busy during the day, it was quiet at night and we had no trouble sleeping. Lovely room. Be sure to bring an extension cord that fits the UK standard, because there were no bedside outlets in our room (204). The staff here is superb. The concierge, Stanley, ran out to a nearby restaurant to get us a reservation when he couldn’t reach them on the phone when we first arrived. Another found us an extension cord I needed for a bedside medical device I use while sleeping. Every evening housekeeping knocks and gives us two fresh bottles of water. I originally booked a cheaper hotel in the heart of Knightsbridge known for its central but out of the way location, but switched to the Pelham when I read the reviews. Definitely worth the cost for us. It’s great to have a pleasant and cozy place to come back to after each day visiting attractions and riding public transport.

Really great place to stay! Great location as well. Right next to the underground train station too which is helpful.

Super friendly staff. Lovely experience. They have amazing coffee too, one of the best I’ve ever had. The continental breakfast was lovely. Very clean. Excellent bed and pillows very comfortable. The house keeping service was not the best though. I kept asking for things to be done way too many time and my phone was not working even though I’ve reported it.

I have stayed at the Pelham three times and each time is a five-star experience. Wonderfully comfortable room, great staff (the bartender knows his Pim's cup). Location, location, location! The tube station is across the street. Harrod's is a short walk as is the V&A museum. My favorite hotel in London.
