The location is great. The building looks nice from the outside, but that is about it. The flat was not. Mould on all the walls, broken kitchen splashback, all the chairs and table has wobbly legs (we were scared to sit on them), all kitchen appliances were really the cheapest and old, no light in the corridor, the sofa bed is simply horrible to sleep on, and so on... Everything in the flat was falling apart. On the top of that, we arrived late (by 1 am) and there were no bed sheets. We had to ask the reception and wait 45 minutes to get them (given by a not so happy person who had be awaken for the task). Then you have 24 hours to dully fill a form and do a full inventory of every single items, then sign the document. The thing is there is nothing that would dare to take away as everything is cheap or broken. I have taken photo of everything, including the inventory form, just in case. We talked to a person from the letting agency, who came and see the flat by herself. She could only confirm what we had written was all true but only mentioned “the location”. The location may be great, the flat is definitely a 5 star as advertised, not even a single star one. And instead of mentioning the location, as an excuse, we would have appreciated to be offered to move to another flat. Really disappointing.

I stayed one week in a 2 bedroom apartment. The amenities in the apartment is acceptable the living room had a flats reen smart TV which was extremely convenient. Bathrooms were newly refurbished and spacious. They also have a separate elevator for wheelchair users. The location is marvellous so close to supermarkets and Starbucks is just a cross the road. Highly recommended.

Smart, clean, spacious room for 3 with double bed and double sofa bed. Well kitted out kitchen. Friendly staff. Well located. Cafe across the road and Sainsburys too.

Very small room (maybe 12m incl. shower,)down in the basement without elevator. Room was not prepared at 15:00 check in time. No kitchen equipment, just a small refrigerator (like Minibar) and kettle. Small window, no view. Directly near the window outside was a rat trap. While using water a terrible loud noise came presumably from domestic water supply. Location is in a very nice resident area, 8 minutes walk to underground, good connection via Piccadilly Line to Heathrow airport and center. Supermarket across the street.

The accommodation is clean and tidy but think twice before you book here: We checked in at a one-bedroom apartment and found unfavorable smell in the accommodation, so we reported it instantly to avoid a fine because the odor smelled like cigarettes. The management insisted that it was not cigarette smell and they suggested a full refund which was not practical to us as it was very hard to find a reasonable accommodation in London in summer on the same day. For the next days, we repeatedly turned on the fans, and kept the windows open but the odor never went off. After I checked out, I requested a partial refund for the terrible odor but the management refused and claimed there was no odor in the apartment. I advise you to have a plan B if you’re planning to stay here so in case the apartment has an odor, you can request a full refund and move somewhere else

The hotel has ha a stunning renovation to the exterior and lobby. There are two services here the apartment and the hotel. The pictures shown on most sites are the beautiful apartments. The hotel or "the pods" are in the basement. The rooms are tired and do not match the look of rest of the hotel. They send you down a flight of dodgy stairs to a hallway that reeks of urine. I understand why there are mixed reviews, one for the apartment side, and ones like mine for the "hotel". My advice is look for another place as you will be disappointed

Excellent experience from the beginning to the end of our stay at this accommodation . The apartment was very neat with everything you need. The reservation process was also very straightforward, we had a few enquiries and they replied to us promptly before our arrival. The location is perfect. Highly recommended. We'll definitely come back.

Very disappointing! We arrived on a friday at 8pm and porters couldn't find our booking (made directly through their webpage and already paid) for that night (in their files it was from the day after). Despite I showed them my booking confirmation from THAT night, they didn't care at all and they didn't want to call the manager or someone else to find a solution. I tried to call the office but it was closed, I wrote an email but nobody answered me so, after 1 hour of discussions with those very rude porters, at 9pm I had to find another hotel for 4 (we were with our 2 kids) and to pay an higher price. The day after they let us enter into "our" room, with their apologises and some chocolate as a gift but really not enough, our weekend in London has been ruined!

TOTALLY RECOMMEND IT I stay in this apartments many times. The location is great. Parks and shopping malls close. Perfect if you want to go shopping. The apartments are close to Sainsbury’s so you will always be able to buy some food. The rooms are clean. Not noisy. If you are staying with your family I recommend to book a bigger apartment so you would have more space. The staff is friendly and nice.

Stayed during 4 nights during mid-September. Great place to stay with the family (wife and 3 kids). Staff was friendly and helped me with an issue with the late arrival of my luggage. Location is very good, Chelsea is a lovely neighborhood. Only less than 10 minutes walk from the metro station and there's a market almost right in front of the hotel.

Nice rooms. Basically this place is an apartment renting service than a hotel.

It's not an ordinary hotel so you shouldn't expect hotel service but the polite receptionists are more than enough for me. The location is perfect and the rooms are clean and nice. We stayed with our children and encountered no problems.

This was the worst experience I ever had. Very bad service. The management are not available 24/7 only from 9 to 5 and I was in a business trip with the same working hours so I can’t meet them! I didn’t use the room I change the hotel from day one and they didn’t refund any amount of money. I don’t recommend it at all !

my review is relative to the flat I got. On groundfloor, really small, with awfu view. At the same cost you can have a 4 stars wonderful room just without the kitchen

Very well located if you need to be in Chelsea. Kings Road is close by and the So Kensington tube is 10 mins walk. The building was good and flat was decent with everything working. The doormen were pleasant and helpful. My flat was in a relatively quiet corner of the building overlooking a back courtyard. There was some noise from the school next door, but no road noise. I heard others complain of road noise if they had a flat in the front side of the building.

We had a terrible stay. We arrived on Friday and when we went to the room at night we see that there’s no bedsheets for the extra bed. We contacted the reception and the service was awful. We begged for him to help and he told that our stay was for 1 person (we booked room with 4 beds). We checked the receipt and something happened and it said 1 person. Our bad. But I think he could’ve helped us in some way. Maybe contact someone, give us a number for some assistance. I mean - things can happen. It was Friday night and he asked us to come back on monday….? We were leaving on monday. We sent a request to extend the room for 4 persons in Airbnb. It was approved the morning after that. We slept for 3 nights without bedding even though they accepted the request!! Just a small blanket. We payed 800 EUR for the room and we slept 2 persons with a blanket on the matress. The last day we went out of toilet paper. We got 2 rolls for 4 people and 3 nights. I went to the reception and asked for more. He looked in his paper and said that he didn’t have any. Why did he look in his papers? Why didn’t he gave me a roll from his toilet or tell me we’re I can buy? it It was 00.00 in the night and we were completely out of paper. So very bad service! Also the building has 2 entrances on each side of the house. We used the back door and ringed the bell. The guy came for open the door and had a very angry tone that we couldn’t use that door because it’s too loud? Why have an entrance if the guests are not allowed to use it? I’m not a person that complains but the service of the staff was so incredible terrible!!! Why do they have a 24/7 reception if the staff is absolutely uninterested in helping? They will problably answer me that they won’t find my booking but I didn’t book the room.

Very negative experience overall at Draycott place apartments with Capital Residences, the same owner of Nell Gwynn Chelsea accommodation. The apartment was booked on-line with mobile and we never received the instruction to access it. More than 1hour awaiting on the road with luggages, we were able to enter the apartment just thanks to a nice guest of the building. Then, bad surprise, the apartment was in the lower basement but there was no mention in the mobile booking process and in the written e-mail confirmation , under the road level, dark and noisy, you can imagine the disappointment. Moreover the mixer of the shower was broken and there was only boiling hot water. Many e-mail exchanges, one visit from the plumber but no repair due to missing the replacement part. No excuses for the bad experience, a promise for a partial reimbursement that never took place, fully ignored by a non efficient and not nice staff of the organization. DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.
