Holland Park

Subway station

😐 The station has some nice retro signage on the platform level which look quite nice. Despite having a pair of refurbished lifts, the station isn't completely step free as the lifts only bring you to a sort of "bridge" where you have to walk down a bit via some stairs to reach the platforms. The location is great :a Tesco Starbucks and basic department store are all within 50m as well as a lovely park and shopping centre only a 15 minute walk away. The station itself is simple. The lifts come infrequently unlike the trains which come fairly often and connect you with the majority of the main destinations in central London. It is not step free despit e the 2 recently repaired lifts.

Not a bad station, but stations only offering lifts are never great.

No step free access. Lifts, then some steps. No booking office. No toilets.Central line is 24hrs fridays and saturdays on most of the line ( NOT North Acton to West Ruislip and NOT some stations past Leytonstone ). Visit nearby Holland Park for the peacocks, the Japanese Garden and the Summer Opera. Visit the statue of St Volodymir on the other side of the road, on the corner in Holland Park Avenue. He brought christianity to the Ukraine. Sculpted by the noted Leo Moll ( 1915- 2009 ).

Recently renovated and re-opened this station is your one-stop if you're heading to the annual Notting Hill Carnival. It's right on the boundary of the festivity areas although you can also get off at Shepherds Bush. There are lots of coffee shops and eateries in the area and the station is fully step free for people that need it as they operate 2 lifts. You're also a stones throw from Holland Park which is lovely to walk around in or catch Pokemon if you're into Pokemon Go or the new Harry Potter Wizards Unite. Go have some fun and get outdoors!

Holland Park Station is served by the Central line the entrance to the station is very small then you have lifts from the ticket hall to the middle of the station then stairs to the platforms. Not a very busy station a standered underground station.

Lovely play area for children of all ages. Woods and formal gardens, cafe, and a generally pleasant park, located close to the Central line station.

Holland is the closet park to my heart in London. I love it peaceful, and well maintained. It is heaven on earth in spring time. Great for families and kids.

I suggest to give some customers service training to the people who work in this place because when we ask sometimes to them , to open the door , which is not our fault when is not working, they are very rude and impolite. Many thanks.!

Standard tube station with nothing to special to note. Served by the Central Line and about 2 members of staff who are on hand should you have any questions. The station contains two lifts to take you down (these do not take you to the platform, there is another flight of stairs involved).

I'm only rating this station so low because of one poor experience that i hope to never have again. I was on my way into London with a ticket for any journey into London allowed, the man states once i get to the gate at holland park that the ticket is not valid for travel on the underground though i use it all the time to get to shepherds bush usually without issue. I understood why my ticket wasn't valid and said ok im sorry now can i leave yet he just wondered back off into his plastic box and sat there drinking water leaving me stranded behind the closed gates, feeling humiliated already, i was waiting to be let out as it was a mistake and i already paid full fair for a further stop. The man came out of his box again and stood uncomfortably close to me with his water bottle and decided to mansplain, and for anyone who doesn't know what that is, he just didn't need to waste his breath repeating himself after the first time. He then made me say sorry in a 'nice way' and reluctantly let me leave after i clearly was upset, degraded, left distraught and in shock. I've never been treated like this by any-staff member at any given position of power.

Because of the staff's shortage, most of the time station is closed. In the evening station closed around 11pm. Very frustrating people who are work late around that area.

Great old station situated close to Holland Park whish is one of my favourite places to go. Sadly this station is often closed due to staffing issues but the 94 bus runs 24hours everyday right outside so that's easy.

This station is frequently shut with near zero notice on TfL’s website or elsewhere due to β€˜staff shortage issues’ - this is a total shambles… Makes planning one’s journey impossible. This is what one would expect in third world country. Sadiq Khan: sort this mess!
