Beautiful park and one of my favourites from inner London — if not THE favourite. Make sure you visit the Kyoto Garden, where you will see many beautiful birds, including peacocks; and the area around The Belvedere and the chess playground, which is particularly beautiful when the flowers planted there are in bloom. The south side of the park also borders a few other landmarks worth visiting, such as the Design Museum, The Tower House, and the Leighton House Museum, not to mention the neighboring Edwardes Square which, even though tiny, is incredibly beautiful! Do visit it if you get a chance, although bear in mind it is a private garden and might not always be accessible.

Nice place for some peace and quiet. Keep an eye at Eventbrite app for various interesting events there, such as the butterfly walk tour.

Lovely people. Building works quite well for its intended purpose. It has an interactive whiteboard and some interesting specimens in a decent sized classroom, toilets and some live animals. They run some evening events for adults. Mainly talks with a chance to explore parts of the park not normally open to the public. If you find this review helpful please hut the like button. Thank you.

Amazing place! Feels like you got teleported to the countryside. + Lot's of squirrels you can feed (not sure if that's allowed, though), saw many people surrounded with those adorable fluffy "pest species" and giving them monkey nuts (peanuts in shell). Seemed like this kind of food is the best to attract squirrels and lure them close enough to feed from a hand. Though again, not sure if you are welcomed to feed squirrels :)

My 8 year old daughter went on an Easter holiday workshop. It was brilliant. Lasted two hours and it cost £5. They combined arts and crafts with a herb hunting expedition and were also given a really educational talk about the medicinal properties and habitat of each herb. We will be holding her birthday party there and can't wait!

They charge money for their sessions, you would think from the profits of the private nursery for the rich next door, that occupies huge swathes of park land; they could afford nature sessions for free. Their concessions is a joke £1 less than the original price, then again it is RBKC who probably encouraged to charge to prevent children from poorer families coming.

Apart from the ecology centre's great educational potential for children, The Childrens play area is exclusive with a alot to do. Play tarzan swing rope, massive Trampoline type arrangement and lots more. Nearby a large Toddler sand park and lovely english garden spots with café. paid parking on site.

Great source of information and educational events related to flora and fauna in the surrounding area. Thoroughly enjoyed their evening Bat Walk group tour.
