They could not find our booking so I emailed the booking over to them and they finally let us check in because we had 2 young children. We was given our own sheets and told to change them out self's. All rubbish was left from previous geusts, all bins full. No smoke alarms, no lights on the stairs, it was the most disgusting room we have even seen. Every where stunk of wee. Plaster board falling off roofs. Dangerous electrics. So we finally got checked in went to London, about 5pm we received a phone call saying we need to vacate and come back ASAP or we will remove your items from the room. London is a big city so it took us a while to get back. Once back we vacated. So we was stuck in London with 2 young children with no where to go. Absolutely heartless people and don't have one clue about running a hotel. Do not go here if your life depended on it!

No invoice, no check-out, nobody was there when we left! It's a scandal and illegal to manage a hotel in such bad conditions. Only positive point: the location. The building was supposedly shut down months ago but we were still let in and not told about this by receptionist.

This place is lovely. It has London atmosphere ... Like from victorian era. Who is going to sleep in a room for maid? The place might not be perfect for everyone, but the atmosphere! I absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Extremely small bathrooms, mouldy carpet and curtains, our room had a leak from the plumbing in the room above. The three bedroom apartment downstairs was terrible. One room used to be a hallway with two single beds end to end with barely enough room to walk down the side. One room was a converted conservatory with no insulation and no privacy from the apartment above. The desk is rarely manned and when the fire alarm went off and everyone evacuated, a guest had to go back in and reset the alarm following the instructions received over the phone from the owners.
