I definitely won’t be coming back. We got moved to this hotel as our first one cancelled on us and put us up in this hotel. The room didn’t look like it was cleaned, there was white powder everywhere, a plastic glove over the fire alarm, and the toilet lid was on the floor not even attached to the toilet. Tea and coffee was provided in the rooms but there were empty packets that looked like was from there from the previous person. The draws in the room definitely were not cleaned as there was loads of rubbish in there! We did mention something to reception about this and it was cleaned up by the time we got back in the evening. The shower was very hard to control the temperature and there was no body wash or shampoo/conditioner, only little hand soaps which we had to use. I won’t be coming back any time soon.

    * Room looks nothing like the one in the pictures. It's extremely small and outdated. * It will take you 1 hour to take a proper shower, there's barely any water coming out. * Towels smell funky. * Our heater was not working and they said they had received the same complaint from other guests. * 4 floors but elevator only goes up to number 3 so if you have heavy luggages and they give you a room on the 4th like they did to me, you will have to carry them upstairs. * Fire alarm went off twice in 3 days, probably due to smokers. * Window can be easily opened but can't say the same about closing it. * They do not give you a "Do not disturb" sign. A cleaning lady came into our room at 8 in the morning (she knocked for 2 seconds, did not have time to even react since we were sleeping). * Toilet is extremely close to the bathtub, if you're slightly tall your knees will hit it. * Shower curtain is very ugly, makes the place look ghetto and is too long so here and there you will find yourself stepping on it as you take a shower. * Only one trash can (bathroom one) and no lid.

Room was falling apart, no A/C, no sink plug, no shower head holder, mould on the walls, broken drawers, dirty clothes cupboard, paper thin walls, no shower gel/shampoo, toilet flusher button missing, sunken mattress, skirting boards falling apart, doors don't fully open and only 1 plug socket which is away from the bed. The only clean part was the bed sheets (But this shouldn't be a highlight at any hotel). The reception area looks to be the only place they spent money on. Only positive is the location, but I'd recommend you spend more for the Ibis 50 yards along the road. If you just want an uncomfortable mattress to sleep on for the night, then by all means.

Not very good the shower head was broken off the wall no remote control for TV and we were told it had been stolen and there were no connection wires there anyway and there was also mouse powder boxes on the floor, also the floor was very sticky as if it hadn't been cleaned for a while. The coffee cup were not washed and no replenishing of milk tea coffee etc. Because the location was great for our needs we were very disappointed with the hotel, there was a great pub called lily langtry which done great food.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Shower head didn't work, water is barely running (i would call it more dropping), triple bedroom with 1 flat pillow each (no extras in the wardrobe), remote control doesn't work with working batteries. Strange smell in the bathroom. Also no charging plug next to bed, only far away at the end of the room. 1 star only that its not too filthy, appropriately clean. Very disappointing 😕

Very dirty and dusty hotel even if (luckily) there was no carpet floor, but wooden floor (in the room). It was impossible to open the window more than 10 cm since they were blocked, the curtains were all ripped and some neighbors from the near rooms were smoking weed with no control at all by the hotel staff. The toilet was super tiny, no shampoo, no shower gel; just a couple of soaps in total. I wanted to have a coffee in the room but the boiler I found in it was clearly used and not clean since I actually found some water staying there. No air conditioning at all, it was bloody HOT everywhere. The only good points: good position (5 mins walking from West Brompton tube station) and good wifi connection. BTW, definitely not coming back.

Don’t know where to start. Shower leaks under the bath and floods the toilet floor. Bed sheets stink and have stains on them. No kettle but condiments for a cuppa. Towels don’t get changed. Holes in the walls. The door doesn’t lock as well as the latches being loose (anyone can walk in so I could get lucky) 😂! Tiles in the bathroom are all cracked and broken! Bed feels like your sleeping in a tent on a solid floor. We stay in ALOT of hotels for work and this is a gift that keeps on giving! By far the worst place I’ve ever been let alone slept in. Wouldn’t recommend.

We booked this “hotel” because of the football match, we found out someone entered our room (room 308) after the match by leaving a purse. So I went to the reception, the receptionist, Keith (not sure how to spell his name, he refused to tell me his full name) told me that he gave the room keycard that can assess room 308 and room 317 to another customer. It is unacceptable. I feel unsafe and insecure to stay in this “ hotel”. Please avoid unless you want a stranger enter your room with no one inside.

We stayed for two nights in this very poor hotel. I would give it zero star if I could. The reception was the only place I could say was nice. Once you got through the door to bedrooms it certainly went down hill. Room was tiny and ill equipt. Went out for meal and came back to flooding bathroom. They did move us up one floor and this room was as bad, had to go back to original room to take pillows as only one skimpy one. The corridor didn't look as if it had been vacuumed for months. The windows would not shut, OK for when we stayed but God help people in winter months!!! If I had realised there was an Ibis next door I would have booked in there. We went for breakfast at Ibis as lily don't do them any more. We had booked it two years ago but covid caused us to cancel. Booked this hotel as it was close to underground station. I certainly would not recommend this hotel and we've stayed in loads around the country through work.

Room very small but had comfy beds, good shower over bath. Luckily had a back room so quiet. Front rooms on busy road. Very helpful staff, new kettle and hairdryer on request. New towels every day( although not requested) and towels were soft and new. Great location for cafes restaurants and bars all good quality and close to tube station.

Absolutely horrendous. This place is completely falsely advertised, more like a hostel… although there are probably much nicer hostels than this place. Upon checking in, we immediately noticed damp within the walls, almost dripping down, holes in the walls and doors, tea and coffee provided but no kettle to make said tea or coffee, no glasses provided or water, no hairdryer, no rubbish bin in the main bedroom, no flush handle on the toilet, cigarette butts behind the bed, incredibly poor quality beds, the list is endless really. After making these issues known to the front desk we were basically told there was nothing they could do as they were fully booked. Instead told to contact the company we made the booked with. No compensation or resolution provided, pretty much just told to lump it or leave it and given last minute bookings in London are £200/300 upwards we had to see out our stay. Extremely unhappy with the whole experience. Save your money, DO NOT STAY HERE!

This is truly a horrific hotel. At 1:30am, some stranger opened my door with a key!!!! Then some guy showed up, saying he was the hotel manager, demanding for me to open door so he can see who is inside. I was so scared that I ended up calling the police for protection. HORRIFIC HOTEL!!!! Worst hotel I have ever stayed.

From a somewhat experienced traveler, this is genuinely not a bad place at all. Not too sure what all the bad reviews and anger is about. Sure, it’s not a 5 star hotel but the beds were comfy, shower worked perfectly and they provided a daily cleaning service. Decent location right next to the tube station too. Not a luxurious stay but honestly not bad at all, really don’t get what all the fuss is about

Really worn down. Bed super uncomfortable you can feel the springs. My windows wouldn’t properly shut, asked to get moved and got given another room that the window didn’t shut either. Walked barefoot and my feet were covered in dust, bathroom is clean but floor certainly isn’t

Horrible place. Mouldy smell, dust everywhere, unwashed and used linen, stained pillows, no flushing in toilet, shower curtain does not exist, showerhead broken, door does not close, bottles of beer still there from the room residents before us, arrogant staff. This place should be closed and barred forever. Plenty of well priced hotels that are clean and habitable nearby. Dont dare to book here.

It's only one star because I can't go any lower. The place is an absolute DIVE, DO NOT BOOK TO STAY. I've never seen a hotel in such a mess in my life, travelled nearly 3 hrs as we had booked winter wonderland and said we'll stop over but we in fact drove back. The walk to the room said it all. Cracks/ damp all over the walls, wallpaper falling off. When we entered the room we both looked at each other to say what the........ Room was horrible. Stains on the curtains, broken draws, broken window with tape around, tea and coffee left from previous guests, stains all over the wall, ripped wallpaper, stains on the toilet paper. Marks all up the wall, mould around the bath, hair in the plug hole, leaking toilet. The hotel is an embarrassment to London. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE STAYING HERE. it's more like a crack den. We checked out after 5mins the guy at reception didn't want to know at all. It's like he knew it was a state. DO NOT GO. STAY AWAY.

The hotel is not to recommend. It's dirty in every corner, the let us change the room but it didn't got better. There was a terrible smell that came from the toilet. Stains where on bed. Don't book at that hotel.

You very much get what you pay for here. The room had clearly seen better days and could do with a referb. Saying that the sheets and towels were clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful and the hotel was conveniently situated for exploring London. This side of a lottery win I would happily stay here again.

Not nearly as clean as the photos suggest. Room was very dusty with grime all over the walls, especially in the bathroom. There was no shower curtain, no shampoo, and no independent hot water tank for the room; meaning that for my 3 days there not once did I get a hot shower in the morning… the Wi-Fi was practically useless as it kept disconnecting every couple minutes both on my phone and computer. The bed was comfy enough, but they clearly didn’t realize the comforter was badly ripped and was leaking it’s fluff. You cannot leave anything in your room as there’s signs everywhere saying things have been stolen and the hotel will not be liable, so you must pay an additional $5 and keep your stuff at the lobby. Why not just get a small safe for the room? Also, the window latches in my room were badly busted so the window wouldn’t close, and on top of that the heater adjustment knob was busted so guess what, it was cold in there overnight and I heard all the screaming and yelling until 1am from the bar downstairs. The person before me also left their vapes and other various small items that the cleaning crew clearly overlooked. If I had to say something good about the place, it would be its location relative to West Brompton station, but that’s about it. Overall I was very disappointed and do not feel I got the value for my money. I do not recommend staying here, I know I sure won’t again.

For it’s price it is a great hotel if you just want to sleep and go sightseeing London for whole day. Rooms could get renovated and bathroom HAS to be renovated, but it’s still acceptable for the price. Hotel is communicated very well with metro station and several buses.

I wish I could give it lower than 1 star. I booked this hotel for my son who had to stay in London for an audition the next day. he walked into the room and was in there for all of 5 minutes! the room was full of mould, it obviously hadn't been cleaned or repaired in a long time! doors were broken and hanging off the wall, sockets were hanging off the wall, there were stains all over the curtains (god only knows what the stains were) and there was a strong smell of drugs throughout the corridor. I wouldn't let a dog stay here let alone a human! if you have any sense you will avoid!! my son sent me photos of the issues and I couldn't believe the state of it I contacted the hotel and they refused to provide a refund even after the photos were sent to them. They are only interested in getting your money

Very expensive hotel for what it is !! The quality of the room is so poor. You can barely walk in it's so tight. The curtain for the shower is disgusting. Without saying all the noise in the car park. So pay 100£ more and book at the ibis !

Our experience at Lily hotel was more than miserable. We were 4 canadian friends, with two rooms. We all traveled a lot, and we have never seen an unsanatary hotel like this. First, the rooms were not clean at all; in the first room, everything was dirty, and unsanitary We found blood in our sheets, along with hairs and eyelashes. The floor was dirty, as well as the shower and the desk. The water from the tub was brown. We didn't want to brush our teeth because of it. The main bathroom light was not working. The second room was as dirty as the first one, luckily we had 1 toilet paper roll. When we arrived the windows were open in both of the rooms. It was 4 degrees outside and it was 11pm.We slept in the cold, and it took a good 12 hours to get the warmth back. On the second day, after the maid had 'clean' our room, we entered our room with a intense smell of cigarette. The smell was so intense, we had to open the windows for 4 hours at night time. We know someone used a cigarette in our room, it is undeniable because the smell arrived all of a suden after the room was cleaned, and none of us smokes. There were no towels, and no toilet paper. We had to ask for everything. We had to sleep with our clothes on because of the hairs in the bed, we felt like It was not clean. The hallways of the hotel were dirty, there were towels on the ground to leave the doors open between each section on each floors, the carpets where dusty and the walls stained with yellow marks. We are students who paid a lot to travel to London, and it made our experience miserable, we were tired because we couldn't sleep with the cold. This hotel was a disaster, don't pay the price.

This hotel is in dire need if a refurbishment. My window was cracked, tiles broken in bathroom and mixer tap held up with a tied on rubber glove! It was basically clean and the bed very comfortable, but squashed in to the wall.

This place is very well located, at West Brompton, and it is perfectly adequate, but very, very basic... I couldn't recommend it, but it had plenty of parking and was cheap, considering its very central location. And I had a perfectly pleasant night there, but I wouldn't go again. Just too cheap and cheerful for me and it was a lot more the former than the latter! Quite a nice view from my window on the 3rd floor, though. But no...😉 The shower worked fine, the bedding and towels were clean...but no...😉
