Best Chinese food in this area. While most Chinese restaurants in Vermont share the same recipes and sauces, this one is refreshingly different. Flavors are good. They had a calamari stir fry special and it's made with lots of veggies! Just how Chinese stir fries should be. And they have relaxed Dine-in too!

They were good for a long time. Not sure why but the last 3 times we have eaten there, it was some of the worst Chinese food I have ever had. The crispy sesame chicken was mushy and the list goes on. Was hoping it was a fluke but after the third time it is certain, either the chef is different or quality is not a priority or both. Hope they read this and go back to the old ways.

We ordered here for the past few times for take out and spend a lot of money! The food is just horrible and the quality and quantity is not there anymore! It use to be a good place.. but unfortunately my family will not be going back there anymore.

Wide variety of options. They have both Chinese and Japanese food & a couple of Thai options. The scallion pancakes are fantastic. One of the waiters is pretty straight to the point, the others are really nice. Cute atmosphere & decent drinks are available. Been a few times & haven't been disappointed yet. Honestly I think it's the best Chinese food in Rutland.

The service was okay. The food quality was good as well. It was a lot of food we ordered. I really like the egg drop soup. It was quite ok.

The food was ok. The drinks were good and reasonably priced. Our server was friendly and the food came out pretty fast. This was my first time eating here so of course I will go back and try something different from their incredibly large menu. I do love all of the choices, separated between Chinese and Japanese lists.

I have been dining here for many years. Last night's experience has driven me away forever. There were three of us dining. We asked for separate checks. The waiter refused to accommodate because he was the only server there. Okay, I can live with that. When the food arrived it was lukewarm. My friend asked for hers to be heated up. The waiter begrudgingly took the plate away. As he was leaving I told him that my food was also lukewarm. His response was: "There's nothing I can do about that; the plate was hot." I also ordered a $22 dish with shrimp and scallops. There were two shrimp and two scallops surrounded by a lot of vegetables. The waiter returned with my friend's newly heated dish. He literally slammed it down on the table and walked away! I am a very understanding person. I understand that they were short staffed and he was under pressure. However, there is no excuse ever to treat a customer that way. They have lost three customers forever.

Historically a decent restaurant, but food quality and service have declined severely. Felt rushed by the staff to eat what felt like a below-average meal with a premium restaurant price; only to be awakened with food poisoning a few hours later - with an early morning for work not too far behind. With multiple other dining options in the Rutland-area and almost half a dozen for Asian cuisine alone, East Asia is off my list for good.

Overpriced and tiny portions. Usually when apps are more expensive and only one size you get more food. Not here. 40 bucks will get you double anywhere else. Empty crab Rangoon Dry small overdone chicken fingers Bland beef jerky type boneless ribs (small for 10 bucks) And the rice was old and inedible

After spending a few weeks in Rutland on a work trip, this has turned into one of my favorite places for lunch. Great food and reasonably priced.

Good vegetarian options! Excellent food and service. I've only been 3x, but very much enjoyed it each time! I will continue to recommend and return.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Me and my friends and as well my significant other go here all the time and they have the best Chinese food in rutland area. Great sushi, amazing quality of food and the service is amazing and we seem to always the gentleman very professional and knowledgeable Definitely try it you WONT be disappointed!

Had a great late lunch here. The atmosphere is chill, and the restaurant is very clean. The service was excellent and the food was delicious and served fast. Crab Rangoon was some of the best I've ever had. Also the bathroom was spotless, which to me indicates an attention to detail throughout the restaurant. I will most surely return soon to try the sushi and more.

Very unfriendly service. Smallest portions I have ever received at any Chinese restaurant. Never asked if we wanted a beverage so went back for a bottle of water and a bottle of coke paid the unfriendly female cashier another $6.72 . Also had to pay a fee to use credit card on first purchase. We will not be back, hospitality would go a long way. Felt like I was giving money to someone who recents Americans. Final not food was ok and the gentleman that brought the food out seemed pleasant and well dressed.

Best Chinese I have had in years. Fresh not frozen. All dishes were great. They forgot our crab Rangoons and made it right and gave us an extra egg roll!

The menu has a nice selection of foods. The sushi has always been good. Tried Chow Fun noodles this trip. Lots of shrimp, chicken and beef awesome noodles.

The food was pretty good. Our issue was with our waiter, Sabino. He was fine at first, but when I received the salad and took the first bite, I realized that it had celery in it. With celery being my least favorite food, we did ask if there was any way for it to be remade as I cannot eat it. He said it's pre-made so we asked if we could send it back. He proceeded to say "fine" and then practically ignore us throughout the rest of the meal. He did not fill our waters once and was very rude from the salad point on. Then when asked at the front how our evening was, I stated my dissatisfaction with the waiter and she didn't even acknowledge me. It's a shame that such good food can be ruined by such a poor mannered man.

very pleasant, the food was good and the service was fast and efficient. the place is very clean, and the customer service is good. the portion sizes to the price , could be a little better. all in all a nice experience.

Great clean and friendly environment, proper drinks and food/portions. They always do people right and if you think traditiona6 take out is quick you'll be quite please at the prompt service to table atmosphere. Pro tip: When it's date night and the surrounding places (that have 15 tables open) that say 30 min wait or no reservation available I suggest trying them

The food lacked flavor, my beef udon came as a soup, and I never mentioned soup. The waiter barely spoke English. Specials aren't available on Holidays.

Been going here for years. Since the name changed and I imagine the ownership, I feel like it has gone down in quality just a little. My most recent visit I ordered the wonton soup and the sesame beef. I think that the wonton soup was better before, now they add chopped iceberg and spring onion, which while it is good, I miss when it would be a simple clear broth with dumplings. The sesame beef was good, but I wish the pieces were more bite sized. It was a little difficult to eat with chopsticks, I even had to cut a piece apart into 4 to be manageable. Sapporo was delicious. I ate alone and was left alone for the most part, which is how I wanted it. Refill on my water was unobtrusive. Good visit overall!

Great service, fantastic food, but the lighting was darker than I would have liked. Just a bit more light would have been nice. Beautiful design and decor inside.
