Phenomenal experience. Always. The food, service and atmosphere is consistently great. The servers are extremely knowledgeable, attentive (without hovering) and well...the steaks are amazing. We have dined here many times, and have also hosted a private function... Each and every time has been a great experience. I would highly recommend dining here or hosting an event. To the ownership and management... Keep up the great work. 👍⭐💪💯👏

My husband made reservations here for a late Valentine's dinner. He accidentally reserved our table a week later than he wanted and when he called to fix it Raine helped him and moved things around so we were able to have it on the day he meant to book. Our server Joe was excellent. Attentive and knowledgeable. To say the food was delicious would be an understatement. Everything from our drinks to the bread to our main course and dessert was outstanding and far exceeded our expectations. We ordered the rack of lamb and the delmonico both were cooked to perfection. We will be coming again and will be requesting a table near the piano on a Saturday.

Bar reservation was available a day before I wanted it, and at a reasonable time. Karen at the bar was awesome. We splurged for ~4 courses, and had some epic wine and a van winkle bourbon with desert. You'll pay full price, or even a tad more than for the same in Boston, but they have everything you want and the service is excellent.

What an excellent experience. From the service, to the ambiance, and of course the spectacular food. This place hits all the right notes in perfect harmony. For fine dining, this place isn't that bad on the wallet. Expect to pay around $120 per person for a full course meal. Of course that doesn't include drinks, which anywhere can add up quick. For a place that is only open 17 hours a week, you can expect it to be busy, but super efficient. The food is some of the best I've ever had. The meatballs were soft, yet sturdy. Delicious and accompanied by an amazing marinara topped with shaved Parm. The strawberry salad was also perfectly balanced. The vinaigrette not to acidic nor too sweet. Just right. Of course the filet was the star of the show. Just a soft, delicate, tender piece of meat that will dance all over your taste buds and have you moaning like a mama cat in heat for the next delectable bite. A perfect rare, cooked by highly skilled people that excell at their craft. We finished off with the peanut butter mouse. I would describe as more of a thick peanut butter truffle bomb, covered in hard chocolate with a peanut butter, nougat like center. It was also accompanied by a dollop of peanut butter ice cream. Overall, there wasn't a single negative thing to say about this experience. Well worth the trip, just make sure you make that reservation, and have an amazing time!

My family and I visited Hanover Street Chophouse recently to celebrate my graduation, and it was an absolutely remarkable experience. We were a party of three adults and a child, and the staff made sure every one of us felt welcomed and special. Our server, David, was the epitome of professionalism and kindness. He struck the perfect balance between being attentive and giving us our space, ensuring our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. His recommendations were spot on, and his attention to detail was impressive. The food was nothing short of delicious. The quality of the ingredients and the skill in their preparation shone through in every bite. The overall atmosphere of the chophouse added to the specialness of our celebration. It was elegant yet comfortable, making us feel at ease throughout our meal. I can't thank the Hanover Street Chophouse team enough for making our celebration so special. It's clear that they are doing everything right, from their outstanding service to their exquisite culinary offerings. We will definitely be returning and recommending this place to others. Keep up the fantastic work!

1st picture is the tomahawk steak. Steak is 10/10, veggies 5/10, mashed potatoes 6/10. For $88 the steak was amazing however the veggies and mashed potatoes were not that good. String beans were hard and the mashed potatoes was a little bit dry. 2nd picture is the bone-in filet for $67. Steak is 11/10. The steak was so soft it basically melted on my tongue. Same issue with the veggies and mashed potatoes. For these prices I expected better sides. However the steaks were amazing! The service was amazing. Servers were always checking in on you making sure you have the best time. They offer coat checks at the front. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great. The area was dimmed. You can tell you’re in a fancy restaurant.

This chophouse just doesn't compete with other restaurants with a similar theme. Don't get me wrong the food is not bad, but for what you're paying, you don't want your food to be just "not bad". The presentation of the food is sloppy and the plate is over crowded. My steak was overcooked, but what can you do. You expect a place like this to be more artful in presentation. The drinks were the highlight of the evening, well crafted and boozy. Again, it's not a bad place, but I wouldn't go back unless someone else was buying.

My husband and I took my 80+ old parents here for their first time. The atmosphere is a bit dark but and old school dark wood but modern touches. There was a gentleman playing the piano which was a lovely touch. We spent some of the time trying to guess the name of each song he played. My husband and a shared a Caesar salad to start his with no croutons. It was delicious with plenty of shaved parm on top. My husband and mom ordered the 8oz Filet which came with mixed vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. They both said the steak was cooked perfect! My husband also ordered a side of truffle fries we all shared. They were hood there were non left! My dad had a boneless Delmonico with mashed and mixed veggies which he said everything was delicious and cooked beautifully. I ordered the Chilean Sea-bass. It was cooked perfect and also it was a small hunk of fish it was plenty for me. It was served with roasted potatoes and Brussels Sprouts. All delicious. I have never had anything that was not great here. Definitely will be back again.

Mother’s Day and had a fabulous dinner, not brunch! I love the classy cozy atmosphere here. Prime rib was great and filet was delicious, just as we’d heard. French onion soup and bacon wrapped scallops apps were to die for. Even the bread - so good. Bartender was kind enough to make me a refreshing blueberry mojito mock tail- thank you!

My wife and I celebrated our tenth anniversary here, and it was wonderful. The valet parking was appreciated. The chef's special salad was a wonderful start! I had the lamb rack and it was lovely! My wife had the scallops and butternut risotto. Wonderful, bouncy but buttery scallops were generously sized and prepared well. The house brought out a compliment small anniversary cake which was so good and melt in your mouth, we considered planning our return for an opportunity to order it! The restaurant is quiet, borderline spacious and comfortably formal. Our waitress was attentive and experienced. The menu is not extensive, but there are many good options, and chef's specials always present new things to try.

My first time here. It had been played up heavily by friends I trust and they were not wrong - excellent on all fronts. From our server (thank you Joe!) to the perfect steak, they checked every box. Likely not for every day but when you want something special, this is your place.

Amazing food. Food would get five stars with out a doubt. Unfortunately their less friendly staff stops this review from being amazing. Will give them a second shot at some point and will update this if it has improved. I hope it does because the atmosphere and food is top notch.

Went for our anniversary. The service was excellent, the food not so much. I was craving steak Oscar and was excited they had it since I have not had it in years. The steak was a little rubbery, the crab meat wasn’t picked through and had some shell. Unfortunately that was off putting. I asked for 2 separate steak knives. Unfortunately the ones given to me were super dull. The bread was good. I tried dessert it was just ok. Maybe an off night who knows.

Terrible experience. Food was good. Waitress needs to get off her high horse. Generous people that tip well shouldn't be treated like garbage. My daughter and her bf flew in from AZ to spend my birthday with me, made reservations for chop house and we're more than excited to treat me for my birthday. Told the waitress from the get go. She obviously could care less. No happy birthday, NOTHING. We had our meal. Ordered one desert. She couldn't even be bothered to deliver it, she did to the table next to us though. Treated us like we were second class citizen. Prepared to leave 100 tip on our 200 meal. To bad she only earned 15% at best. No reason to ever be rude to anyone

I have always wanted to try this place! We went on Valentines day and it was amaazzinnngg! Highlights included the Bacon app (best bacon I've ever had) [see picture] and the dinner plates were so delicious! Also amazing were the bathrooms, perfect for selfies ofcourse, always a bonus!

If I could give it 6 stars I would. Everything I ordered was exquisite. The service was great and the atmosphere ( jazz music playing in a calm dining area with a 19th century look) was relaxing. This is by far the fanciest restaurant I've ever reviewed.

Unbelievable service, even better food. It's expensive but you get what you pay for. Best steaks around and a great selection of wines and whiskeys. Our server Nikia was amazing and super knowledgeable. If you need a place to go for a birthday/anniversary this is the place to go!

We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and had such an amazing time! The food & drinks were absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere was great. We didnt feel rushed while eating and chatting. Our waitress was wonderful. We will definitely go back for special occasions. The price of the meal was exactly what we expected to pay and reasonable with the amount of food that we got.
