A
Trip
To
The
Beach,
an
Anguillian
institution.
Dinner
restaurant:
Exceptional
rum
and
wine
list,
great
garden
setting.
Incredibly
attentive,
coordinated
staff
and
fast
service
on
a
very
busy
night.
Brussels
"Caesar"
was
intriguing
and
well
executed
-
getting
the
right
crispness
while
still
being
cooked
cannot
be
easy.
Toast
slice
bits
present
and
crunchy
fresh
without
slicing
your
mouth
open
or
lacking
crunch.
Garlic
and
anchovy
could
have
been
a
bit
more
aggressive,
but
I
understand
that
may
not
go
over
so
well
with
the
hoards
of
stinking
rich
beautiful
people
that
fill
this
islands
nicer
establishments.
Lemon
panko
crusted
grilled
shrimp
a
good
conceiving
of
flavor
combination...
Frying
would
be
a
bit
too
heavy.
Grilling
a
bread
crust
is
another
willfully
chosen
technical
hurdle
-
not
just
for
crumb
integrity
but
for
cooking
shrimp
without
drying
them
out.
Very
creamy
(cream?)
polenta,
however,
was
sadly
missing
a
visit
from
salt
Santa.
Ginger-garlic
sea
bass
and
bok
choy
a
great
combo,
though
I
personally
would
like
to
see
a
thicker
filet.
Sweet
corn
puree
an
inspired
accompaniment
that
I
desperately
would
have
traded
the
erroneous
cheese
roasted
potatoes
to
have
more
of.
Cracked
coconut
signature
dessert
had
a
perfectly
formulated
ganache
shell...
Crisp
upon
arrival,
but
quickly
softening.
Bailey's
"coco
water,"
coconut
sorbet,
and
toasted
flake
exterior
perfectly
in
theme,
and
the
garnish
of
tembleque
was
my
first
experience
of
same,
thank
you!
$20/glass
for
basic
but
well
chosen
wines.
Basil
lemonade
mojito
derivative
was
tasty
but
disappeared
way
too
fast.
$$$$
but
would
try
more.
Beach
Shack:
busy
and
Anguilla
timed.
Tiny
vodka
lemonade
and
mango
colada
both
have
absolutely
ZERO
alcohol
in
them.
None
(yes,
we
did
say
with
alcohol).
Mahi
BLT
is
an
incredibly
tasty
blend
of
flavors
in
a
simple
beach
sandwich
on
a
small
hamburger
bun
(very
small
piece
of
fish).
Caesar
salad
was
acceptable...
No
faults,
but
nothing
at
all
special.
$5
beach
chairs
but
they
go
quick
and
are
taken
all
day.
