I have eaten here 20-25 times. It’s always a great experience. This place is exactly what a coastal seafood joint should be. It’s all about doing the basics perfectly and that’s what MCCH does. Crab cakes are perfection, fried food and shellfish done perfectly. Steamers are amazing. Don’t sleep on their fried oysters they are 2nd best in the area but it’s close. Paper on the tables, great service and cold beer just to top it off.

Mud City Crab House is a great place with tons of options for seafood-lovers and non-seafood eaters alike. Atmosphere: 4/5 I sat outside, which had a different vibe to that of inside. However, the vibe was pretty good. Although there were some nuisances such as gnats and squawking seagulls, I had a great dining experience. Food: 4/5 I ordered the fried seafood combination, which included a crab cake, filet of fish, scallops and shrimp. With two sides that come along with it, it was a pretty hearty meal. There was tons of variety and each piece of seafood tasted fresh and delicious. Overall, pretty good food. Service: 4/5 The service was great; the waitstaff was polite and helpful. Although, it was a bit hard to contact the waitress to ask for drinks or such because after delivering things to our table, I would not see them for a while. Perhaps it was because I was seated outside, or that they were busy inside, but the service was still great. They brought things out and took away things promptly and were very accommodating. Overall, everything was great. It wasn’t the best food I’ve ever eaten, but it was still good.

What a gem. We went with a big party so there was a wait which is totally understandable. Everyone we encountered was extremely friendly. Our waitress Maria was fabulous. Since COVID, my husband and I have had horrible experiences everywhere we go. So coming here, and having absolutely wonderful service, greatly timed and delicious food was a welcoming experience. Enjoy!

Great early dinner. Wine was perfect. We tried a few oysters and tuna appetizers. Linguini with mussels and white garlic sauce was unbelievable! There were 44 mussels in the bowl! 😳 My husband had the broiled combo platter and it was enjoyed. Lindsey was a good and attentive server. Nice beachy atmosphere.

Service and atmosphere was amazing! I wanted the fire pit outside and they did not hesitate to turn it on. We were able to order drinks and drink outside while we waited for the table. When we ordered, it was fast and accurate. The attention from the waitress was super. However, when I ate the main course I was sorry to say I wasn't blown away. I really cannot pinpoint what was missing because I wasn't saying "we are coming back here!" I can say I have had better seafood locally but this place was a nice try for me. Good luck with parking and ask for as many wet naps as you can.

Best seafood in the area period! Blue claw crabs prepared. A number of different ways are always a big hit, as is the fried flounder sandwich. Have a Narragansett or two while you enjoy your meal! Update 6/09/23: The New England clam chowder was a perfect blend of clams, cream and spices! The blackened grouper sandwich was out of this world fresh and flavorful!

Unpretentious seafood spot that really focuses on interesting flavors. Fresh seafood, multiple types of fish that you can pair with different cooking methods and sauces, and turf dishes for those that would visit a seafood restaurant and not want seafood *side eye*. They quoted us a 2 hour wait, but it only wound up being 40 minutes for a party of 2 on a Friday evening. They were packed and we would have gladly waited that long if we knew how amazing the food was. Btw, they do not take reservations. We got the mussels in a sweet potato jalapeno broth and oh my gawd were they delicious. The broth was smooth, robust, and a flavorful but not spicy. We sopped it up with bread (and maybe our fingers); it was that good! I also got the blue claw crabs in the garlic sauce and wow! Talk about sopping up a sauce - I would have bathed in that garlic sauce! It was garlicky and creamy but also smooth and not overly greasy or buttery. I easily had 6 large crabs cracked and smothered in this delectable sauce. It was way too much for 1 person but I did my best to take it down! They also have some really great cocktails and lots of canned beverages, wines, and beers. It was my first time there and I'm a fan for life...... or until I figure out what they put in that garlic "crack" sauce.

Where do I begin??? The food was great, I had the Cioppino and it was awesome. It was delicious and reasonably priced for a seafood dish. They did not skimp out on the servings. The white clam sauce was awesome and the fried calamari were cooked to perfection. The total tab with drinks came out to 140.00 for 5 people. This is a MUST if you are in the area. Atmosphere is fun and lively and service was on point. Eat here do yourself a favor

😠 If I could leave 0 ⭐️'s I would. First i ordered Fried Calamari appetizer but server said they no longer carry that even though it was on the menu. Not sure how long its been since they 86'd it but i suggest to update the menu. Secondly, I end up ordering the asian vegetarian spring rolls w/teriyak...
