🫀 This place was certainly a let down for camping. All the facilities were run down and seemed unkept. The kitchen even though a camp kitchen was poorly equipped and the dining tables outdoors were so dirty. Overall for the price range it can be much better People often mention kitchen,

We visited at the late of February 2018. From the price we paid, only $31/ppl/night, this hostel is better than our expectation. Lady in check-in counter was lovely, she gave us a box of cutlery, plates and mugs, so we can cook in the shared kitchen. Inside our caravan, even deco was outdated, but the bed was comfortable and everything worked well. There was no air conditioning, but got a fan instead, and also had a kettle and small sink inside caravan. Shared shower room was clean, but you need to bring your toiletries and towel. Overall it was like a nice small caravan park.

This is a very outdated hostel. The four bed 'ensuite cabins' are caravans with no heating (even though it says there is on the website) and were freezing at night. The bed sheets had mysterious stains and the door lock could be opened simply by pulling on the door. The showers, toilets and communal cooking area were good although the cutlery they give you in a box were dirty, and so required cleaning before use. The only positive was the price but I would definitely not stay here again.

We stayed in a caravan over new years. It had power to charge phones, a mini fridge and some fans to stay cool. Also linen and towels. There was also outdoor BBQs which were well maintained to cook dinner and lots of utensils in the kitchen. Overall it was great value and the staff were friendly.

Good value place to stay and talk to other travelers, relatively close to the centre of town and easy to get to where you need to go. Easy to get a park out the front. Some of the kitchen and bathroom utilities could do with some maintenance and upkeep though.

Read the reviews and almost didn't book here.. I think they are for the cabins as I inspected the dorm rooms before paying and they are decent! The backpackers area itself is good there's a common area and it also has a decent kitchen with lots of utensils / pots and pans. The place is a little tired but everything is clean and works ✌

Stayed 2 nights 10 & 11/10/17. Was out of season so very few people here. Nicely placed just far enough away from the highway so that the noise isn't a problem. I walked everywhere as I'm only on foot but having a car here would be much better. Is 20 mins walk to Woolworths or McDonald's easy so not in the centre by any means. The cabins are basic but clean and I slept very well. The swimming pool isn't anything special but the showers and toilets are very well kept. Good for solo travelers as a stop off traveling to Eden or Canberra. Would recommend.

We stayed in the campsite and were assigned two sites in a quiet corner where noise wasn't an issue for anyone. We have everything that we need in the kitchen and bbq area, however, the toilet/shower area were a bit neglected. They provided us a firepit to make our nights warmer and more fun. Good value for money and the owners very attentive to our needs.
