Disappointing While I do not take pride in giving a review that’s not glowing there are times when it cannot be avoided Gladstone’s was recommended by our hotel. It was an easy 10 minute walk. We were quickly seated on the patio with a nice view of the water. The condition of the chairs and table was beat up and unkept. We were quickly greeted by our server and he was the highlight of the entire experience. He did an amazing job in providing the best possible service you could ever dream of having The food is where it all goes downhill. The fresh loaf of sourdough was very hot fresh and tasty. Next was the clam chowder which had an incredibly thick texture and not many clams or other solids like potatoes. Lastly we ordered the local halibut blackened. The server apologized that the only sides offered was mashed potatoes and vegetables. No substitutes allowed. The fish was bland in taste although it was blackened. The mashed potato’s were bland and no flavor. Lastly the steamed vegetables was not seasoned and small portion. As someone who travels more than 100 nights per year, I can’t in good faith recommend this restaurant.

Family came down to the marina to hang out and decided to grab Sunday dinner. Tried a couple other spots but the wait times were outrageous. Gladstones told us it would be 30 min so we decided to check out the surroundings while waiting. It wasn’t 10 min and they called us for our table. We were seated on the patio, which was awesome until the sun disappeared then it got chilly, if you go in the evening make sure to dress appropriately and bring a jacket. Our server was great, gave us plenty of time to make our decisions and checked on us regularly, but not overbearing. The sourdough bread is always delish and I ordered the Lobster Shrimp & Crab Linguine….. it was amazing, filled with shrimp and a mouthwatering sauce that hit the spot.

Me and my family stopped here for a nice dinner with a view. The view is probably the best thing here from my experience. The food was tasteless and cold. Our ceviche appetizer taste like a spoonful of lemon and the chips were stale. My lobster mac n cheese wasn't even melted it had no warmth and tasted under cooked. To add to that I asked for the small mac n cheese and got charged for the large. My husband's fish tacos were oily and overcooked. My son didn't even like his burger. Maybe the good cooks work on the weekends.

Whenever we are in the area this is one of our favorite places to go to for food. This time around we had the poke nachos which are delicious and has the perfect balance of flavors that you almost want to eat the plate when you are done with what was on it and it’s definitely big enough for 3-4 people to share. My daughter really enjoyed the California roll not much to say about it but it was good. I had the lobster, shrimp and crab linguine which was delicious definitely a giant portion and the amount of seafood that is in it does not disappoint either. Although I really enjoyed this dish it is rich and heavy and you will be longing for a nap after it. The service here is always amazing and the views of the harbor and the ocean breeze are a great way to enjoy a meal.

As good as I remembered with a "Crabby Hour" that should make anyone happy. $6 Mai Tai's and Margaritas with a wide selection of tasty menu items from under $10 each. I ate at the outside patio/bar where the service was great and the atmosphere was nice with views of the harbor. Unfortunately, I ordered too many "Crabby Hour" items that along with a few servings of real Sourdough bread.. didn't leave room for dessert. Maybe next time.

Stopped at Gladstones as we were at a conference in the area. While staff was friendly , the experience wasn't the best. First and foremost do not come here if anyone in your party has any dietary restrictions/allergies. Not only does the menu have no information, but staff was not knowledgeable. Obviously shellfish self explains allergies but other items that are not as obvious were not noted. For the non allergy sensitive folks crab legs were ordered. Almost 3/4 of them had like no meat in them. One of our party had ordered the tuna salad and all the accoutrement was so sweet they could only eat the tuna itself. If you have to hit something on the Pike I'd recommend another establishment.

While vacation California, I came to the Long Beach area for the scenery, and this place was recommended to me. The sushi and calamari were delicious beyond measure. The drink selection is impressive and left me wanting more. Customer service from the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Good overall but not great. Service was fine but they forgot it was our aniversary. The views are nice of the Queen Mary. My salad was crisp and my enjoyed her steak and the chocolate cake with the works ice cream.

The food was tasty. I would have given it a 5 star if I didn't feel rushed while eating our appetizers. We were halfway finished, and the waitress was already bringing out our main dish.

Food was great, the service was okay (Our waiter was Great). Really wanted to rate 5 stars however, I had made a reservation for two, outside dining for mother's day four days in advance. When I arrived was told there wasn't any outside seating available when clearly there were seats available. I guess those seats were for people with reservations.

Okay so the hostess was extremely sweet and she’s the reason I originally decided to sit down. Once I was sat at the table a waitress walked up next to my table and began an argument with another server about who would take my table. They went back and forth right in front of me, pointing at me as well. They walked away arguing and the waitress eventually came back and greeted me. At that point I was completely disappointed and embarrassed honestly. She handed me a menu and gave no recommendations and just kept coming back to the table asking was I ready. I decided to just order a cocktail and an appetizer to go because I no longer wanted to dine there. The Mai Thai I ordered was amazing so shoutout to the bartender but the spinach dip was not good at all and I needed up throwing it away. I travel for work and frequent this area so I’m willing to give it another try but not anytime soon.

Had a wonderful lunch with friends at Gladstones in the beautiful city of Long Beach. The service was impeccable-attentive and kind. This restaurant oozes come in and stay awhile. The drinks are massive and tasty. My friend ordered the Shark Bite, I had a Spicy Bloody Mary, my daughter chose classic lemonade. The Bloody Mary could have been an appetizer.😂 After inhaling loads of fresh sourdough bread slathered in butter, my friend and I settled on fish and chips, while my daughter chose clam chowder in a bread bowl with Caesar salad. The fish melts in your mouth…I cannot believe there were three pieces on my plate.😂 The fries and coleslaw were good but the Cod stole the show. My daughter ended her meal with a hot fudge sundae. She didn’t want to share so…of course it was good. A cotton candy funnel passed our table-it looked awesome. We visited right at opening so it was not crowded. Accessibility for a wheelchair in the dining room was acceptable. I really enjoyed the ambiance and gorgeous seaside view. It’s a welcoming, cozy place with small touches that make the dining experience really special. It is a great place for families and celebrations(I saw both having a great time).

Right along the waterline you can eat outside and watch the boats. Mostly all seafood on the menu. Great service and we got our food fairly quickly. Live lobsters in a tank. Alcohol served here. Clean restroom.

Nice patio with view of the Queen Mary. Food was good overall, wish the fish and chips had a 1 piece option (only options are 2 and 3 piece). Close to the Aquarium, good parking around.

Table was wet when we sat down. I ordered the surf and turf. My steak was medium well to almost well done instead of medium. Some parts of the lobster was chewy. Server was great though.

Service was okay, kinda felt like the lady helping us was high…I ordered a clam chowder and ahi nachos and let me tell youuuu they’re both delicious but unfortunately I found some stuff in the clam chowder that just ruined the vibe. The waitress was pretty rude because I didn’t want to make a scene about but did want to tell her about the situation but she literally caught me distracted and too my bowl away. Thankfully I took pics moments before

Gladstone's was always one of my favorite restaurants while I was in college and still must say it's a go-to while in Long Beach! Beautiful view of the water, whether you are seated inside our outside. My most recent visit started off rocky due to the hostess having a slight attitude / being short with us, but our waitress made up for it. Recommend the fish and chips and the Spinach Artichoke Dip (very large portion).

Great views and food was pretty good. Menu for lunch had a pretty good selection. Sat on the patio to maximize views and that wonderful breeze. A couple of birds flew in for French fries.

Great atmosphere, dined with a group of seven and the staff was quick to accommodate. Our whole experience was flawless. Our food ran a tiny bit late but our server was quick to accommodate and bring out extra bread rolls. Once the food came out everything was cooked to perfection. The whole group passed around our plates so everyone could try everything that was ordered and everything was spectacular especially the lobster Mac n' Cheese. Will definitely be going back!
