Food was great, service was great, no complaints.. They do charge 5% to help pay the employees the minimum wage and their benefits which I believe is something the employer should be responsible for.

Being a veteran restaurant on Pine, Sevilla may not be the most "exciting" eatery around town. However, the advantage of being a small chain restaurant is that there's a standard of quality. Sevilla consistently provide meals that are satisfying and especially for large size parties, there are lots of tapas to sample.

Awful service. No appetizers and they don’t have the patience to offer food recommendations. Next to it there is a great seafood restaurant (King Fish) the service is amazing and the food is delicious.

Wonderful experience! The food, the ambiance, and the live music make you feel like you're getting a taste of Spain. The paella a la valenciana was on point and so was the braised short rib coca. A little less impressed with the gambas al ajillo and the halibut and shrimp ceviche but they were pretty good too.

The ceviche was outstanding. Octopus was delicious and cooked to perfection and very flavorful. The Pineapple upside down shot was smooth with great taste.

Loved the food and music. We were able to share a 5 course meal between the three of us. 5 tapas basically. Good portions and tasty. Will be back again for the live music and drinks.

Excelente! (excellent)📍🎒 📸 The service, food, people and atmosphere is superb. Everyone has a great time here, a place for families, friends or lovers, they have you covered! Drinks are delicious but required a bit more liquor (mix drinks). Food is literally "a taste of Spain" delicious. Waiters are attentive and helpful with ordering (thank you). Patio dining is very comfortable but the magic happens inside where live music brings the place alive. Bring a friend, love one or yourself the place will have you smiling!

Don’t wear socks, you will have to find them once you taste the food 😮 the blend of flavors was incredible. We walked by and wanted to try it, totally blown away, and our socks 😉 highly recommend the stuffed dates, octopus ceviche, tortilla espanola, plus the desserts! Ended up splurging for 2, the bastille cheesecake and chocolate churros. Next time we are in town we will be back!

Great tapas dishes, very reasonable pricing, live music and very friendly staff. Food was brought out very quickly after ordered. Would revisit to try other items on the menu. Revisit - Only difference this time was the sausage dish ordered was a fail

Service was great. Zoe provided excellent recommended and was patient and friendly. This place is mostly tapas and paella so that's what we ordered. The octopus ceviche stood out of the bunch and the traditional paella was a close second. The octopus was perfectly prepared as to not be chewy at all. Also note that they serve toasted baguettes instead of tortilla chips. The paella was hearty with everything from clams to chorizo. The beacon wrapped dates were the group favorite but some didn't like bleu cheese. The red sangria is worth noting but the white tasted like apple juice. The churros were excellent due to their freshness and the whipped creme was different. What kills this experience is the pricing. We went during happy hour 5 to 7pm and still spent over $60 per person. The live music was way too loud because they don't use the house speakers.

My husband and I attended the Flamenco show on 7/29/23 (the show was wonderful). The food was good however the carafe of sangria was way too sweet - almost like syrup. Also, after the show we noticed a friend sitting at a nearby table and walked over to say hello and when we turned around our belongings had been moved to a nearby booth in order to fold up and put away our table. After spending over $200 we felt like we were being rushed out and this was a disappointing end to an otherwise (overall) enjoyable experience.

Dark, moody tapas spot in Long Beach. Came here for my friend’s birthday brunch which had 15 people, so I recognize this wouldn’t be most people’s experience. If you have a big group, you can either order from the brunch menu and get tapas (but can’t get tapas alone) or you can get tapas from the dinner menu. We opted to get two paellas and a bunch of tapas for my table of 8, and it was more than enough food. Definitely get the brussel sprouts (you can get the sauce on the side). The salchichas are fun because they get lit on fire. The tortilla espanola was a bit of a letdown and is small, so I would pass. The Spanish potatoes were another popular one at the table. The calamari was good, if a bit on the salty side, and we got an order of the olive bread but I don’t think it was worth it. The paella Valenciana and the seafood paella were each good for 4-5 people to split. We got an order of the Madrid churros con chocolate which were good for 6+ people. I love churros con chocolate, so I’m happy that they were available. Credit cards accepted. Street or lot parking. We were in the upstairs area which is where I think most private events would be held.

The outdoor seating option is great! However, the menu is overwhelming to read (paper format/ no QR) and the portions are on the smaller side. On the plus side they did have a gluten free menu which was easier to navigate. 4% additional charge to the bill for “minimum wage increase and benefits”.

Food was good, service was very poor. It took almost 30 min to be greeted by our server, I ordered the short ribs plate the waitress told me when I order it was a heavy meal. That plate never came, when we where ready to close our bill we made sure that was not going to be on the bill and the waitress had no idea of what we were taking about. The waitress never came to get our money, someone else had to close our bill. Never going back.

Very bad experience with the food, as a local from Sevilla in Spain coming to this place the food only brought me disappointment and shame. Please reconsider the name of the restaurant and the fact that you call this spanish food but the staff is really nice. Me dieron el postre medio comido, muy asco!! Además tengo parasitos intestinales despues de comer aqui

Café Sevilla describing themselves a Spanish restaurant should fall in the category of cultural appropriation if anything they are span-ish. Probably opened by someone who once went to Spain, tried the food liked it and decided to make a terrible version of it. The food was actually terrible. The dates with bacon were burnt, so we're the salchichas who were somehow cold and tasteless at the same time. The shrimp was awful, couldnt even eat it. The croquetas were not croquetas but just fried cheese balls and the meatballs taste like flour. I was sooo disappointed. We were hungry and in the mood for Spanish food ( from Spain) I barely eat anything, had to eat dinner when I arrived home, and the little I eat, left a bad taste in my mouth, physically and emotionally. To top it all, the bill was expensive and we were charged for the metal straws, which we then took home.

Such a fun time! Perfect place for family. Great show. The singing is so good, the dancing is amazing! Very interactive too! And they have an amazing belly dancer too. Paella was good! And they are very accommodating too. We brought our own bottles of wine and birthday cake too!

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. The waitress and everyone who assisted us were very friendly. The food was delicious. We sure will be returning to celebrate another birthday. I love that I was able to take the cake for my friend. Loved the atmosphere of the employees. I recommend all of these in the pictures.

Went to flamenco show. It was way over priced. Show wasn't that great, older dancers nothing that was advertised at all. and when the bill came it was all crazy because they added the $119 that was already paid no one understood thier bill at the end. We got one appetizers water and cranberry juice paid $88 fot it. It was awful. Food was the worst! Lobster was horrible never in my life have I had such bad food. Service was OK I'm used to waiters filling your glass of water this one I had to ask never took dirty dishes off table. Food gross. Show wasn't nothing special and Service Luke warm and the amount it was priced at was crazy. Never again.

We visited Thursday night. Great live music. Sat at the bar (5 of us) we ordered drinks and an appetizer. The bartender was busy. Super overwhelmed. He wasn't very friendly. We finished and went somewhere else. But the atmosphere was great. I'll have to go back another time.

If your looking for good Spanish food look no further. Had the seafood pallea and empanadas. Both were top notch.

This is a nice place. We went as a family for lunch, and I think it was the hottest day of the year, a tad stuffy inside. The atmosphere is really fun, I can see it being a blast on nights with live music. The food is good, but I have to say nothing blew me away. The tapas sampler were all tasty, and the paella was all good food. Just not amazing, which is fine as I imagine being surrounded by Iberian music late at night, after a few drinks. The bloody mary with mezcal however was fantastic! My recommendation is to be here at night with the added atmosphere of a crowd and live music. Cheers!

Really great food with superior crafted old fashioneds. Soccarat on request with the paella! The garlic shrimp and bacon-wrapped dates were amazing. It's not cheap, but with the price!

The ambience & Spanish decor was very good. Only Cuban music was played. We ordered Seafood Paella, the presentation was excellent. The rice was over cooked/burned on the bottom of the pan. The overall taste was under whelming for being fresh caught ingredients. Typically Baggett Bread is served with Paella. We wrestled our loaf from another nesrby server.

The restaurant is well decorated. Our server was nice and fast. Sangria was ok and food a bit overpriced. They have live music on Saturdays!

In the heart of pine Ave and it's a great place for a romantic dinner. The waiting staff was great! The food was delicious!

Unbelievably good food. The braised short ribs are too tender to describe. You haven't had mashed potatoes until you try theirs.

Great atmosphere and the food is great! We had the veggie paella, a mushroom dish and sangria. They have a separate vegan/vegetarian menu clearly marked. They had a three piece salsa band! They were amazing!! My wife and friends enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend the sangria and the mushroom appetizer.

Not going to rate the restaurant since I haven't actually eaten here before. But I've gone to their nightclub 3 weeks in a row to see if the experience was consistent across each outing. Overall, it was (which is a plus). I went on a Saturday twice and a Friday once. Either night is cool. They had a live band playing for a bit downstairs and a DJ that handled most of the music. It was a mix of Latin and hip hop, but mostly Latin music. This past weekend, they finally opened their upstairs space, which is made to be much more of a club. Pretty big space, but it fills up every time. Once this space opened, there was a lot more hip hop being played. But they also mixed in some techno/EDM. Mix of girls here, but definitely some cute ones among the crowd. I couldn't do too much of a temp check. Brought sand to the beach each time (if you get my drift). Kind of a surprise, considering each time was a first date. But people want to get out and reclaim some of the fun they had a year and some months ago. Lol. Next time, I do plan to go on my own and see how it goes. As far as the bat is concerned, I'm not much of a drinker, so I didn't bother getting anything. But two of my dates wanted something which allowed me to see how ridiculously packed the bar gets. A little slow to get a drink. But the bartenders are all scrambling to do their best and they're all cordial. So, I'm not complaining too hard. Overall, I enjoyed myself every time. I'd definitely recommend checking it out. Especially if you have a little patience, a good attitude, and don't want to throw double or triple the money at trying to get into the surrounding restaurant/clubs like Alegria or Agave. Actually, quick update on this spot: I just went this past weekend on a Saturday, and it looks like their price has gone up from a modest $10 cover to about $25 (or $35 to skip the line). Seems like, they realized what the surrounding clubs were charging and upped their cover to price match. Most of the girls weren't very friendly either and it was harder to find anyone to dance with this time around (not the club's fault, of course). I'll probably try again on a Friday and see if the mood and price are any different. :(

We went to the Flamenco show with our friends a couple weeks back. We first visited the bar downstairs, and it is like stepping into a little bit of Spain. Great decor, very good curated drinks, tasty Sangria, and many diners were eating here for dinner or drinks and appetizers. Upstairs was the Flamenco show. The performers were on a low stage next to the dining area, with great views for everyone. And they are very talented at the music, song, as well as dance. The fixed price ticket gives you the show, and a 3 course dinner featuring an individual paella (seafood or vegetarian). You can add on your drinks, and appetizers, off the show menu. All in all, with everything added in, it was still a great price per person for the food and the show. Several of us at the table are paella cooks at home, and their paella here is very good!

The flamenco dance stage is not that great. I wish the restaurant would provide a microphone on the floor to hear the great footwork that the dancers do. The seafood didn't smell that great of fresh seafood. Hopefully the restaurant can improve on that fresh seafood smells when cooking the paella. Other than that, the performing artists were superb, the servers were on point and very considerate and friendly, the paella display was impressive. Oh, the PowerPoint background screen was great, just wished they added more variety of photos. Hope this review helps. I take pride in the city of Long Beach so hopefully the restaurant will make improvements in these areas.
