If you like a club scene, this place is for you. When I arrived early in the evening it was nice, without many patrons and the ability to play their pub games like ski ball and pool. Later in the night it gets a bit busy and much less dog friendly. They don't serve food, so feed yourself prior to visiting, but if you are game for a drink and to dance, their music and hidden downstairs speakeasy feel might be just what you are looking for.

If you're looking for a dark, somewhat romantic atmosphere, blind donkey is a great choice. There's a good selection of whiskey. They have pool, darts, and ski ball. The maintenance of the pool table and darts isn't the best and i've had some not so friendly bartenders here so that's a bit of a toss up. All in all a solid choice.

Giving this low stars because the drinks are poor quality and the dj is just okay. Went on a Friday night around 10:30pm and the whole place already smelled like a frat house. Crowd was chill and the bar tenders were nice. We ended having a good time, playing some games, and dancing a lot. I ordered two Cadillac margs which is usually what I have when I go out. They tasted mostly like cheap sweet and sour mix. I don’t think I’ve ever been so violently ill from alcohol in my entire life. It wasn’t food poisoning because my partner had different drinks here but the same dinner at home.

Very nice basement speakeasy style watering hole. Very eclectic clientele while I was there. Karaoke stage, darts, cocktail arcade game. Nice whisky selection, could do with more rhums. Great bartending.

Small underground bar with great whiskey selection and a pool table. Nothing fancy, but it does the job!

Kind of felt singled out by the security guards. We were playing a very competitive game of pool against 2 guys who had been running the tables all night. When we beat them and cheered the guard singled us out in a bar that was blasting music and told us to keep the noise down like we were about to fight. It was nothing but respect the entire game. It felt like he trying to impress the girl he was talking to. He was black and so where we. I didn't appreciate him trying to make an example out of us in a non threatening situation but didn't say anything to the Caucasian party next to us who was way louder than us. I didn't really appreciate that reverse racism uncle Tom kind of treatment from security. Otherwise everything else was really good. That kind of treatment is what starts unnecessary drama. I hope security learns how to treat customers better.

So i used to go to this bar a lot more back in the day and honestly don't know why i never reviews it. Drinks were always good, super cool underground speakeasy, chill, lounge vibe but over the past few years they've added a dj and somehow a "dance floor" has formed and it just completely changed the environment and energy of the place which is why it's at 3 stars. Still good drinks but it is no longer one of my go-to's. However, being that COVID hit local bars hard and they did what they needed to do to survive i totally get the DJ, so if you want that by all means it's got good music it's just not my vibe and not what i used to go there for.

The drinks are good! We go here for Kareoke night and it is usually pretty fun. Sometimes there are really talented people, but sometimes it's all just drunken and off key... So you know, a Kareoke bar. Vaccination cards are required to get in, and you need a mask to get past the bouncer, but nobody wears their masks once inside.

Very nice spot for night life. You wouldn't even know it was there and it's tucked to the side with a set of stairs that bring you to this hidden gem.

Awesome place for a few drinks, a snooker game, a karaoke party, or just fun with friends or strangers!

Absolutely love this place and their happy hour is the best in town. Where else can you get a whiskey sour for $6? Or an old fashion? Plus a few more drinks as well. Excellent service and a great place to be (not) seen. 😎

Cool little dive bar, music wasn’t the best. Dj group was on a power trip, refused to play any request and towards the end started asking for money.

Wasn't sure about the bar at first but I ended up loving it. The people are extremely nice and very welcoming. The bartender Erick was the best! He knew what to recommend and made every drink so good. Love him!!

Cocktail bar with a great whiskey list. And you can bring your food down. Love me a good whiskey bar All the bartenders know their whiskey very well. They also will give you the best choice of whiskey that fits your needs. They also don't overprice some of the allocated bottles of whiskey

My favorite bar in Long Beach. You can get flights on any whiskies! Fun atmosphere and different vibe each night of the week. Cool bartenders. Pool table, and darts.

Staff is welcoming. Atmosphere is low light, perfect for intimate dialog. Drinks are excellent tasting and well priced. Music can be a bit loud at times.

I've been going here for years and always love the vibe. Happy that there's emo night and karaoke nights during the week and the staff there is AMAZING!

Brilliant below ground bar with knowledgeable friendly alchemists. Awesome happy drinks at reasonable prices but still good after happy hour. Must do bar

Nice underground pub! Early evenings could be speakeasy They had nice in-house cocktails and the bartender was also good with making cocktails We had three - the stone sour (bourborn), nick of thyme (bourbon) and gods middle finger (whisky) - all were pretty good Also do order the fries - the upstairs place brings them down, but those are surprisingly delicious, specially the tangy ones xD

It is the perfect place to go if you want a good time. Get yourself a drink, play darts, skeetball, multi-player Pac-Man, or dance. A must bar to visit and its casual too.
