Not your father's Nugget Grill and Pub. Back in the early 90s the Nugget was the on campus spot for reasonably priced pizza and beer. I found myself on campus this morning, so we decided to go to the Nugget for breakfast. I ended up ordering a breakfast bowl @ the price of $7.99. It was filling, but not remarkable. BTW, if you wonder sometimes if getting a degree is worth the effort. The answer is yes! Do it!

After 2 of graduating, the best 4 years of college were eating at the Pub. Looking back, I now realized that the quality of the food outweighed the expenses of all the nearby restaurants except for Del Taco's Stoner Burrito. Other than that, you can never go wrong and also if they get your order wrong. DO NOT TREAT THEM WITH DISRESPECT. Handle it with grace, love, and kindness as you would handle a CAPSTONE class not related to your major. You do because you have to or else you are not human.

Filled with hungry and thirsty students, the Nugget serves the perfect cravings for all palates. Grab a beer with some fries or a healthy salad with a fountain drink just before class.

The food is good. The best food available on campus.

Mfs served me an undercooked burger but the fries were pretty good.

Food was actuslly really good, only complaint I would have is that my friend had to go ask for his food because he never got called up for it. Still though, everything was handled perfectly fine and we still enjoyed our meal there.

The food is somewhat expensive and the quality is very mid. Like I wouldn't actively seek it but I'd eat it. Atmosphere would be a lot better if they didn't play that dumb football show on max volume that literally no one watches there

Food was great. They have a mariachi band Thursdays in the evening which is nice. Service is great too. I got the burger combo and a side of chardonnay. Great overall. Will be back.

It's an on-campus bar and grill. 2 drink limit and the food is wildly mediocre but good for what it is. The atmosphere is the best part, making this a fun place to meet up wih friends during the school day.

Decent but overpriced. Food quality can vary wildly depending on the time of day and mood of the workers. Overall, a decent amount of food for what you pay though. Expect to pay $8-10 for a single entree on average, more if you want a full meal.

My favorite place to hang out on campus every Thursday! Tap takeover with local bars is awesome, lots of the brewers come and hang out. Also great munchies breakfast and lunch to have with one of a dozen draft beers. Had a few mornings with a breakfast burrito and draft ipa questioning where i was in life.

I sat at the bar and had the salmon sandwich, which I wrongly assumed was like a filet, but it was a salmon burger. It was OK, and I liked the salad bar of toppings that comes with it. It was karaoke day/night, which started shortly after I arrived. There were more folks on the patio than inside, and that seemed like a nice place to spend an evening! Check out all the signs and historic items throughout the saloon and you'll probably learn some new facts about the area!

Cool place to eat on campus. I love the events you stumble upon when you go in the evening. Live bands, karaoke... The only thing is that I stumbled upon those events when I was there with someone and we spent the rest of the hour yelling to hear each other over the music. But they have good food and beer so it's a great place to chill to wait out the rush hour traffic on the 405.

Great food, great service, great staff. Pizza's aren't the best, but literally EVERYTHING else is amazing. I always get the BBQ Ranch Quesadilla -- I could drink the sauce alone it's so yummy. I also love the turkey burger with seasoned fries. That was my go-to lunch for about a year.

The greatest place on the campus of California State University, Long Beach. I love eating here, its awesome,great food, Sports always on, I know the manager, Nick, he's super cool. Everything about the Nugget is awesome sauce!!! CSULB is awesome in of itself, beautiful grounds, just beautiful people. Go Beach!!!!!
