Went here on Friday night to experience the knight Ryder band playing 80s music. I ordered a Shirley temple since I drove. The waitress was nice despite the fact that we didn't order alcohol. The band was good and so was the dj. He knew what he needed to play go get the crowd going. I preferred the first break of music. The end turned into house/edm. Nice mixture of people and everyoneooked like they were having a good time.

Apparently I only do 5 star reviews, but this place is Long Beach gold. Go on Friday night and see Night Ryder. They play Sweet Child of Mine on their set list. The guitarist can absolutely shred it. I was very impressed (and I am a HUGE GnR fan). Also, there is a fun mix of older and younger folks and strong reasonably priced drinks. Night Ryder is a general 80s cover band but they also host specific tribute/cover bands throughout the week and serve food, including brunch.

This place was a GREAT SURPRISE!! We were passing through, looking for a place to celebrate Father's Day, and they really hooked us up! Great food, great music, great service!! That's the trifecta of success. The venue is awesome! Reminds me of a Whiskey-a-Go-Go, but with good food! Ask for Karly. She is very helpful, and really knows how to manage the place!

We have been frequenting the Gaslamp Music Bar Kitchen venue for many years and we have had a great time every time! We have been there for the bands, private company party & dinner. I have been impressed by the sound system and they feature different types of bands for all tastes. There is a fun time to be had here guaranteed. Let Michael know that Ricardo the REaltor recommended you. See you there!

This was my first time coming and from the minute we arrived everyone was just so nice. From the guy at the door to the waitress who helped us. Super friendly, very accommodating, always checking on us. Dinner was good, although chicken pesto was tasty it was.. pretty dry. We had a great night!!!

Got in on reserved seating well ahead of time for the max 10. So it was perfect! Just make sure you get your deposit applied to your bill and ask for MILITARY Discount. Some say yes some say no.Bruno Mars Tribute Band rocks.

Is a bar and a nightclub! The Knyght Ryders, the band that plays there Fridays has the best energy, top 50 80s music and crowd pleasers that make everybody move to the beats. I had a great time and will come back

I go for the bands not the venue crowded, no AC, No chairs for the common man. Too many drunks. And…was not a fan of the half dinner half show venue style not a cool setup. Felt weird.

I was there to celebrate a birthday party for a friend. The band was great the drinks where good. A bit crowded but it was fun they seperated a table for the birthday girl. The service was slow but I think it was not enough help, our server tried her best.

From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by an inviting and energetic atmosphere. The stylish yet cozy interior, coupled with the warm and friendly staff, set the stage for a fantastic evening. Whether you're looking for a casual night out with friends or a more upscale experience, the Gaslamp Bar caters to all tastes. One of the standout features of this establishment is its impressive drink menu. The bartenders are true mixologists, crafting cocktails that are as visually appealing as they are delicious. I highly recommend trying one of their signature concoctions; it's a true taste adventure. Live music enthusiasts will find themselves in heaven here. The Gaslamp Bar regularly hosts talented local bands and musicians, creating an unforgettable backdrop for your night out. The music adds an extra layer of excitement and energy to an already lively ambiance. What truly sets this bar apart is its dedication to providing top-notch service. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure your experience is exceptional. It's evident that the team at the Gaslamp Bar takes great pride in their craft. As for the food, the menu boasts a variety of mouthwatering options that perfectly complement your drinks. From tasty appetizers to satisfying entrees, there's something for everyone. I was particularly impressed with the quality and presentation of the dishes. In summary, the Gaslamp Bar in Long Beach is a must-visit destination for anyone looking for a memorable night out. It's a place where the art of mixology, live music, and exceptional service come together to create an unforgettable experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, be sure to add this hidden gem to your list of Long Beach favorites.

Overall we had a great time. The venue is dated, but in a good way. There is a sense of nostalgia that we liked. The big band music was AMAZING. Rebecca did a good job as our server. She was attentive and very sweet. The food was very very good. A bit of advice; don’t order your entry until you are ready. The kitchen is very efficient and the front of the house doesn’t communicate with the back of the house affectively. It seems they do a number of cover band events. If we lived n So. Cal. we would attend more often. We will be back. If there was a 4.5 stars I would give them that. They are certainly more deserving than 4 stars.

Took my buddy here for a cover band concert and it was a bop! Great atmosphere food wasn’t bad. Drinks were good. Boy was this place packed ! Come early! Great show with 90s grunge. Highly recommend!

It is an awesome place!!! I loved it! The atmosphere is fantastic and the band lineup was amazing! We celebrated my cousin's birthday.

Either there's bad communication between the bartender and the servers or it's just a bad bartender. I had to return my drink three times just to get a dry gin martini correct? You bring a good concert, but you need to step up your bartender game.

It is a family place, there is food and drinks, good service, and if there is live music, it is varied, large parking,

Cool spot for music and hanging out socializing. The only thing that was wack was having to pay for parking as if a ticket purchased to their event there wasn't enough for me to park my car and buying drinks doesn't pay for parking, how odd and thumbs down for that 👎🏽

Music and atmosphere there is fantastic. Service also was great at the bar. But when you walk into a dim lit area and you can see the stains in the black carpet and paint peeling in the bathroom's we were not going to try the food. If the main parts of a restaurant obviously are not clean, I don't even want to think about what the kitchen looks like and how the food is handled. We will not be going back.

We went on a Friday night for a 80’s music night. The dance floor is nice! Starters were decent. Service was alright, we asked for water pitcher two times and never got it.

I came for a tribute band event. Tickets are sold ahead of time. This is a big place! The staff was super friendly and great. The food was good I had tatertots and a cheesecake. The bathrooms were clean and the environment was exactly what you’d picture for a 90s rock tribute band night. The crowd was between 40s+ mostly, so if you’re younger just be aware.

Great atmosphere! Amazing staff, those girls and guys were attentive and hard working! If you request a reservation, ask for a booth for the best view of the stage! Food and drink prices were affordable! Highly reccomend the Burger!

Parking was OK, but get here a bit early to be sure to get a space. Bar has decent selection, food is pretty good too. We did not have a table reservation but we were directed to lounge seating by very accommodating staff that made us feel welcomed and taken care of. Sound was good. Stage lighting needs upgrading. Monitors around the place were set to variety of sports and not of the performance. Super bummed about that. Staff said they are working on getting cameras directed at the stage. When the performance can be watched on the monitors that's when the lighting will be an issue

The service was terrible, because because my boyfriend order a chicken saled with blue cheese dressing, but when pourd the dressing on the saled it was not blue cheese it was horse radish and ceasser so he put it all over his saled the saled was ruined and he recorded it and again the same dressing, the waiter finally brought the right dressing, but not the right saled

Went here for a show on a Sunday night. Had dinner which was generous and nicely prepared. Service was good considering the noise of the bands. Cool place to see music. We'll be back.

Went here with my wife for a show on a Saturday night. The staff was friendly and decently fast with our food and drinks for how busy it was. I was disappointed in the nachos; the serving was small and they were very stingy with the steak considering it was a $6 upgrade. After the nachos, my wife got a burger and I got a pulled pork sandwich. I definitely felt we got our money's worth for those two items. Both were a good size, hot and tasty, plus they gave us a generous amount of fries on the side. The burger and pulled pork were each cheaper than the nachos. The drinks were good and priced reasonably. We went to see a cover band and the sound and experience in that regard was pretty good, but not great as we were off to the side. Bathrooms were not the best, but I've seen worse. We spent $100 altogether including the tip. Overall, it was a mixed bag. I would probably not go back unless there was a band I really wanted to see.

Loved the food and how I eas treated by staff. The sound system is not as clear as the modern club but is good enough to have some fun.
