I’m giving them 3 stars because the service is bad. The blond/brunette girls we’re drinking behind the bar openly (taking shots) and we’re making fun of people openly. I always come here (almost every weekend) and my friends and I experienced a bad interaction with the staff for the first time. Perhaps if the Good Bar didn’t allow their staff to drink on the job everyone would have a good time. Hopefully they can change this in the future so that everyone can have a “good” time.

Came in tired after working my second job working postmates to meet some friends already at this bar. I mistook the bouncer as a customer like me n also thought they might be a postmates driver like me and the hundreds of other postmates delivery persons who chill near the doors of restaurants and bar-restaurants while an ordered gets prepared. I was wrong, the bouncer was wearing gym shorts and a casual sweater and made the simple mistake thinking he was a customer or postmates delivery person like me and I walk up to the entrance and peer past him to see where my friends are but for not instantly identifying and acknowledging him as a the bouncer he snaps at me and became hostile as h*ll. I apologize to him for the simple and genuine mistake, as I respect working class people and our struggles, but genuinely apologizing made the bouncer even more hostile and he snapped again at told me to not say sorry. Save your money and vibe go to another bar.

Amazing discovery! Friendly service and amazing venue of friendly staff & patrons. Will definitely become a regular "watering hole".

There’s a reason why the good bar is a iconic meme place in the LB. The good bar is such a gem. Always some bomb music/local djs/great dance crowd, good bar food, super good service, amazing happy hour/drinks/deals, and the best All around vibes. The good bar is a really great place to get sloshed any day of the night or to relax with the homies or even to make new friends. Hands down of the top local faves in the LB

This place is so great! They have a little patio area and a lot of space inside. The people are friendly, and drinks/food are delicious. The events they host are entertaining. This is one of my new favs in Long Beach! I definitely recommend it.

Great neighborhood bar with good music, good drinks and a fun atmosphere. Insane collection of skateboard decks cover the walls, very cool. Also a really good happy hour.

Nice folks behind the bar, and in front of it. Was made to feel genually welcome by staff all around. Very good beer selections, with some great & powerful IPAs. Extensive menu with focus on bar food. I had breakfast casidilla for Monday night football.

The good bar is a good bar. Lots of decks. Some beer, cute patio cool people. A pool table and some dude spinning funky tunes

Well I helped open this place when it was called the "Bull Bar".so it's always good to go back.. to the GOOD BAR!

Probably one of the worst bars in long beach. The bartenders are full of themselves and will act busy before pouring a beer.. It wasn't busy and multiple times the bar tenders (yes both of them) pretended to not look me in the eyes as I was waiting to order waving cash in hand.

Nice little hole-in-the-wall bar that you'd be hard-pressed to notice walking by. The staff keep it real and the food is surprisingly good.

It's a fun place I met my in-laws here and one of them lives around the corner walking distance the DJ did a good job of though it was a little too loud so I put my ear plugs in but otherwise the service was friendly and it attracts a good crowd. Drink prices are very reasonable and I was told that they do the "Long Beach pour".

Great bar but there is only one pool table and it's a little uneven. Great environment though and good service!

Pretty chill vibe, chicks are cool. Drinks were on the expensive side. Very nice menu with something for everyone. Overall I would go back.

1st time!! I went to support my gf's coworkers band play. The staff was knowledgeable on the craft beer selection and overall nice people. The locals playing pool were respectful and likable, definitely won't be my last time coming to this great place :)

The blackened mushroom tacos were so good. They have a lot of vegan options that makes this a place that I will frequent when I am in town. They had some great deals for taco Tuesday. I got 4 tacos, chips & salsa, and a pitcher of margaritas for $20!

Nice atmosphere good table service enjoyed the pool table all Eve and thought the photo booth was a perfect addition. Had a great time there more than once and lll be back..

This place is it. Always poppin. Younger crowds mostly during the weekends but not a thing. They have some pretty awesome retro arcade games inside too. I recommend getting a beer and playing some games.

If you're looking for a young hip crowd, this is your bar. It has a chill vibe and good music.

Had a hard time deciding what star to give this place. It's a skater-bar, with a young vibe. Went during late night ours and the bartenders were on point. The DJ was a bit repetative and a little too loud. The drinks are cheap, and I love that they have vegan options on their menu. Tried the vegan chilli fries and mozzarella sticks. The chilli fries didn't have a lot of toppings but it was great for the price, and the mozzarella sticks were what you'd expect.

Joshua was an awesome host this evening for me and my new homie "oat tator". We visited this new bar and I'm definitely feeling the lax vibe of this place. Great service Josh keep up the greatness for travelers like me 🤙🏽
