This place is great! The downside is that you have to pay a fee to get on the ship. $10 after 6pm so it’s best to go after 6. The drinks are great and the bar itself is so cool and takes you back in time. The service is good but can be a bit slow so be patient. Be sure to walk around the ship and check out the beautiful views of LB from the deck! It’s magical.

A friend and I decided to check out the Observation Bar since the ship reopened recently. She has not lost her charm! Ship is as beautiful as ever...yes she needs some work, but the history! The bar was gorgeous!! Such a classy spot! It was $10 bucks to get on the ship, per person..$10 for parking. I wasn't upset about that because my hope is that it helps to restore the ship. They offer small bites...the food was great. My friend had the sliders...I had the pretzel. 😋 More importantly...the drinks. Guys (a term I use for everyone) when I tell you that these drinks were so damn good...there isn't a word that's going to rightfully describe these drinks! My friend and I each had a Weekend at the Waldorf and a Missionarys Downfall. I think the downfall was my favorite but they were both just sooooo good! Service was also amazing and they checked on us the perfect amount of times. RUN don't walk!

The bar was quite run down and is in need of a bit of TLC. Having said that they had some good drinks and do a yard of beer which is always a novelty. It's a real shame they dont tidy up the outside and bar areas and get some decent furniture. Staff were friendly and happy to make us a drink off menu.

#ObservationBar #QueenMary Well good afternoon from the observation bar here on the Queen Mary in Long Beach California! :-) We decided to come back and visit the Queen Mary since the last time we were here was over 4 years ago! We enjoyed coming here in the years past and hope to more in the years to come! The Observation bar is one of the coolest bars around! :-) One could imagine oneself in the middle of the ocean sipping on a cocktail and just taking it all in! 🍻 🍷 🥂

This bar is like walking into a bar in the art deco age of the 1920s and 1930s. The ambience is neat. They play music from the era when the bar and ship operated on the high seas. However, while visiting in September (2023) the heat in the bar was rather intense so I recommend you be prepared for that.

It gets 4 stars because of the history of the ship., the original artwork... and the great views out front... but like all restaurants on the Queen Mary one drink is the cost of an entire bottle of wine (a really good decent bottle of wine) so the prices are outrageous for everything they have ...Queen Mary has no decent Eateries with regular prices on the ship anymore and that includes this Bar and anything you would eat here... the tables are wobbly outside and they are often under staff so all this could be a home run because of the location on the ship and the Beautiful history here but is pretty much mediocre in service and the pricing is pretty high for what you get. Drink a Coke and enjoy the view but that's about all I would recommend until they get a decent menu that's more worthy of a bar menu in pricing.

The Queen Mary is history. There is no better place for atmosphere. You feel like you've stepped into the roaring '20's. The bartenders were always great and the drinks are perfect! The food was not good at all... 😊

Great view while we sipped our drinks beautiful art deco was so much fun staying overnight. It had been 65 years since my father had traveled from London to new York the staff welcomed him back and upgraded both our rooms

Great spot on the Queen Mary, a little pricey, but really nice. You can get some great sunset photos from the pointy end.

Love the live band. We had perfect timing as it was also a Christmas celebration event for employees.

On the Queen Mary. You will find staff and visitors in costume all having a good time. Live music was playen while I was there. Drinks are a bit pricey but hey your on the Queen Mary. Ordered several drinks and did not have any concerns except what and when the next one was coming. Had a great time, I say check it out.

The bar is pleasant, cozy and the drinks are fantastic, especially if you drink more than one .😂 This place is nice after a tour of the Queen Marie or a Walk around the ship it's a must stop. Take your appetite and walk in the restaurant a few feet away from the Observation bar your palet and stomach will appreciate the fantastic food. I tried the clam chowder and the stake highly recommend it. Definitely take the wife or girlfriend or just yourself either way I'm sure you will enjoy being at the Long Beach proud monument ship that to me Queen Marie rightfully is the Queen.

Take a trip back to a golden era when things were first class all the way. We decided to take our drinks in the Observation Bar one evening and we are so glad we did! We started with espresso martinis and finished with a limited edition Christmas holiday drink. We ordered one small appetizer and a total of 4 drinks. The cost was what you would expect from an upper-class bar. It was a blast to sit in this part of the ship and reminisce about the history (and money!) that has passed through this place. Totally enjoyable to relax and enjoy the view of the ship from here. Check it out!

I wish I could give more stars for the atmosphere. It's a 1930s bar. From the wood work on the walls to the ceiling lights, everything was so well done and interesting. It is so welcoming and comfortable. The staff was terrific. One of our favorite spots on the Queen Mary.

What a fun experience. Dress to impress (if you want to) and enjoy a martini while you step back in time draped in Art Deco.

Delightful time, the lady that served us had many stories about the Queen Mary and this bar. We will be back soon, we only had an hour before we went over to our cruise at Carnival.

Just had an excellent time here. Thank you so much to our wonderful server who may have also been the manager (not sure) the staff was incredibly gracious. All of the food was just fantastic. We ordered the pastrami sliders and the pretzeles. We noticed the brie fondue sauce was "broken" (that's when the cheese is sperated from the liquid) they rushed and immediately got us a whole new appetizer. The drinks were also fantastic!
