This is a restaurant that has a cool atmosphere with a Mexican theme. However, presentation and dishes are very americanized which is not bad but deviate from the original taste. Drink prices are reasonable and quality and food portions are right on target. Free Parking is hard to find so be prepared to pay for parking (around 5 dollars ) for all day. Customer service is friendly and courteous and the only complain I have is that there are flies flying around your plate throughout the meal which is annoying... I recommend this place if you are looking for a break during the week but if you are looking for the authentic Mexican taste you might want to try a different restaurant.

Best effing Mexican I've had! We're only in town a few days, and we came here twice. Corona on tap is a nice bonus. Thank you Panama. Thank you Joe. We'll be visiting everytime we're in SoCal. The carne and the mahi and the ceviche and the birria and the queso fundido.... riquisimo😋😋😋😋

Great place to watch Sunday football and eat. We had breakfast and it was fantastic! Huevos rancheros was the bomb! I’m not a fan of poached eggs so I got mine scrambled. I’m picky about my red Chile and chorizo but this has great flavors. My mother in law added carnitas with hers. Huge pieces of pork. Tender and delicious. Tons of tvs with various games on so pretty sure you can catch your favorite team playing. Parking is hard to find so be presided for a little walk.

Came here on a Thursday night and it almost felt like a club it was so busy! We thought we weren’t going to be able to get a table for 6 but the staff was kind enough to give us the private event table so we could sit and eat. Our server took incredible care of us and even brought a free shot over for our birthday girl. My margarita was strong and the potato taquitos were delicious and filling! I feel like this place gets a bad rap because it can be noisy and somewhat rowdy at times, but I was really pleasantly surprised by how good our experience was!

During my visit, I experience good customer service, the employees seem to work together well (as four different people tend my table for different reasons), and I'm glad about the establishment making a Vegan version of a Vegetarian meal on the menu so good. The Vegan Version of the Enchiladas de Vegetales es muy sabrosa (very tasty); the beans and the Guajillo sauce are key components heightening the meal's overall flavor; the texture of the meal is soft, and I find the meal easy to eat. The nachos go through a baking as well as frying process and taste good with/without the salsa though not each nacho contains equal seasoning. The meal fills me up.

Very disappointed! I i wanted to love Panama Joe. Unfortunately this place has a very distinct smell. It's smells like vomit at the main bar. This might be a health hazard or something. Sorry, too, gross. The food is another situation. They tried to fool me a week ago; ordered a Chile Relleno, and instead, they brought me a bell pepper stuffed with cheese. Hate to be negative, but bell pepper is not used for Chile Relleno. I'm not an afficionado of Chile Rellenos; shame on them for trying to pull the wool over people's eyes, giving them what they didn't order! We will not return. If you have a hangover and you need to throw up, just come in here. You'll gag and throw up!

Place was super busy but the staff was great! We went there on a Friday around 10pm. It turns into a club later in the night, from what I heard it gets wild. Ask about your meal we were a party of 6 and 3 ppls foods where spicy.

Great bar with windows open air or sit comfy on the restaurant side.Great chips n salsa.Taquitos had very little quac.Bloody Mary Pithcers on the weekends.Service👍.

Hey, been to 10's of thousands of bars & clubs, from coast to coast and Europe too. 🤙🤙🤙 Cause grew up in NYC, so could easily do a dozen clubs a night. So don't know know about this place's happy hour, however the wings eating contest is gluttonous 😎🤙 and the food, flaming 🤙💥😎🤙🔥🔥🔥 Obviously, not imagining, this place goes Wild at night, Running with the Devil 666 😎😈😈😈

Awesome atmosphere and vibes. Great food, the drinks were strong, plan for Uber parking can be bi^%# but also I got a parking ticket (my fault) I was having such a great time with my friends it didn’t matter!! Great place for connecting with friends for dinner and heading to the adjoining bar after for live music.

Great brunch selections!! It was so hard to choose between the chilaquiles or potato hash, but thankfully our waitress had their best recommendation ready. The potato hash was the perfect portion to enjoy alongside a margarita. The restaurant has a chill ambiance, and I really enjoyed seeing other guests bringing in their dogs to the patio. I would highly recommend this restaurant, and hope to visit again for dinner soon!

Good food nice atmosphere.The salsa bar is actually really good and the service if they're not to busy is decent. There's definitely some things here I don't like though. Plastic drink cups for one, nothing like drinking an ipa out of a 12oz plastic cup I guess. I also am in shock by the drink prices. Two shots of hornitos that were poured really small were $24! That's kind crazy if you ask me. I hadn't been here in 4 years and now realize why. Go drink at Dogz down the street, reasonable prices there on food and drinks.

I've been coming here for a really long time and it's always a fun place. Crowds - Very diverse depending on event, or weekend but everyone here is always having a good time hanging out. Drinks - Great pours and prices for the drinks. Staff - Nice staff always trying to keep up with the crowds, but they always do the best. Venue - They have a dining section that's more mellow for dining and chilling, then they have the bar area that can be rowdy and fun on weekends or for games. Parking - Parking in this area isn't great at all, but you will find paid parking around the area. Food - Decent bar food available. Overall it's a cool place to experience.

Very very good food. Worth the wait time. When busy (or at Pandemic capacity rules) put name in with Hostess (on water/dock side) & you will be given a pager device (they will also text you if you give phone number) so that you can walk around & enjoy Shoreline Village. Generous Adult drinks.
