I have been going to Romeo’s ever since he had pop-ups in LB before he opened his store on Pine. I love the berry bliss bar, the truffles, the emergency chocolate packs, and all of the baked goods. His chocolates are beautifully made and you can tell that he is passionate about his craft. My favorite time I spent at Romeo’s was during a chocolate making workshop for kids (pre-covid). I brought my nieces and SIL. They were so happy to be making chocolate bars and the oldest even wanted to be a chocolatier after the workshop. She loves Jacques Torres so when he did Facebook posts about supporting minority owned chocolate shops and included Romeo Chocolates, she was so happy. Romeo was also great with the kids during the workshop. It takes a lot of patience to help kids with the chocolate making process. If you have not been, I highly recommend you visit Romeo’s for delicious chocolates, truffles, baked goods, and refreshing beverages.

I love Romeo's Chocolate! My first time here was during their Mother's Day Afternoon Tea— the food were Filipino inspired, which delighted my mom at no end. It was delicious and innovative. I wished they had afternoon tea available on a regular basis! Their chocolates and truffles are always delicious as well, and they do serve savory small plates which you can have with wine, beer or coffee. They have an assorted drink menu, with frozen hot chocolate. Romeo creates Filipino flavor inspired truffles, including Tanduay (rum from the Philippines) as well as calamansi. A great place to hang out!

Amazing chocolate based products with a nice fusion of ingredients from the Philippines. In addition to some traditional chocolate truffles you'll find unique takes such as calamansi (Philippine lime-type fruit) truffles. The hot chocolate and refreshments based on sipping chocolate are also a treat...try the sipping chocolate with a scoop with of ice cream from fellow local business Long Cream Creamery...the combination is heavenly. If you're looking for amazing chocloate done right while supporting a lical Long Beach business, you can't go wrong with Romeo. Definitely a must-try when visiting Long Beach.

One of the Best experiences I have ever had is here at Romeo's Chocolates. Coffee, Icecream, Wine, and of course CHOCOLATE. Master Chocolatier Kuya Romeo will take your tastebuds through a cocoa induced euphoria that not even Willy Wonka could. Down to earth staff and on hands owner will make you feel like you have found your happy place as the chocolates melt in your mouth. An atmosphere which draws you in and keeps you warm and loved in a cold winter day. An experiance that can't fully explained in words but in person. Chocolatier Kuya Romeo is an avid supporter of local business and the Filipino community and will at times host bunch days to promote them. Come and support as you allow your Mind, Body, and Soul fill with happiness.

In such difficult times such as covid Romeo's chocolates serves as an oasis to those looking to escape the anxiety. My girlfriend and I went for the chocolate truffle and wine pairing and it was picture perfect! Thank you all for being open for walk-ins also.

Cute and cozy chocolate/coffee shop. The workshops for adults and kids are fun. The service from chef Romeo and staff is great. It is a bit pricey considering the portions but overall a nice experience.

Great chocolates at a decent price. I arrived right when they opened and got some to go. Keep in mind that getting a box costs extra (not less!) so you should get bagged. Their milk chocolate is great.

Amazing chocolate and tasting experience. Reserve a chocolate cabana, relax outside, enjoy sipping chocolate, coffee, and amazing truffles. They have vegan truffles and vegan sipping chocolate options! If you’re looking for something different to do or want to enjoy some excellent chocolate, Romeo Chocolates is the place!

Definitely a place that you must try. Their chocolates are delicious and reasonably priced. Been there twice and I'm going to keep going. Their 97% dark chocolate is delicious. Their brownies are very luscious and smooth. My favorite so far is the brownie, but I still need to try out more of their chocolates. Oh, they also have this kind of happy hour where you can get small chocolates for a price. Definitely try that so you can try the different flavors.

Great chocolate shop! Loved how they explained the flavor profiles and origin of the chocolate. The samples were delicious. I tried the calamansi mojito and their 30% chocolate bar. They also offer sipping chocolate and coffee. I'd definitely want to come back for a class or tasting! Shout out to Romeo who is a fellow UCSB Gaucho!

Beautiful place and fantastic service! Everything is always perfect, clean bright! Romeo's chocolates are amazing, you can feel his passion for his craft coming through in every bite. Highly recommend Romeo's Chocolates for all occasions! This is where you want your wedding candies to come from!
