Ive been to Shannon’s a couple times it’s a cool decent place to go to. Group of 6 we arrived last night around 10/11 PM. I wasn’t drinking but everyone else in my group was drinking moderately. Around 11pm my brother-in-law tells me the female bar tender didn’t want to serve him anymore. My group waited patiently and wasn’t rude when ordering drinks. She then told the other bartenders to no longer serve us. She had an issue with the way my brother-in-law tipped her.. But my group never tipped her less than $2. The night wasn’t over because they were going to continue paying for drinks and tipping her continuously . But she refused her service to us probably because my group is Mexican. She even told the busser to kick us out but he seen no reason to kick us out and she even informed the other bar tenders ( male) to stop serving as well. He still served us though, I give the male employees a 10/10. I was sober enough to know she was drinking on the job. I also found out that she was the manager . 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼 We were just trying to enjoy our night. Thought Shannon’s was the spot but I guess not. Poor professionalism on your part Shallie.

Not really sure how to start here, because I'm sure there are a lot of people who would love this place, and that's what nightlife is all about. But speaking as a bartender who appreciates any form of competent bar, I was supremely disappointed in this place. For being an eclectic atmosphere in a prime location I was supremely disappointed from start to finish. Nothing made sense from how their security worked, to their incredibly understaffed bar, to their inability to measure drinks resulting in terribly over serving everyone, this is a place that could actually make more money than they realize and are creating problems by assuming that their appearance is king. But hey, they were busy and will likely continue to be busy thanks to their location, but anyone who is reading this that is looking for a worthwhile bar to go to, not a party scene with amateur bartenders, should avoid. Here's to hoping they give a better name to the bars on 2nd Street! Or maybe a secret shopper will catch them ;)

Ordered a Jameson coke. Got a drink that tasted like chocolate chip cookies. Which we all know is t even close. I may be drunk but atleast pay for the whiskey I pay for. ThNks for ruining me moving here.

Fun place to grab a drink with friends - good music, ambiance, and staff (minus the short bald guy who was incredibly rude to us). My friend and I asked for two drinks and he brought us things we didn’t ask for. When I said those weren’t ours, he said he’s “used to women not listening to him” and walked away. We couldn’t believe his comment. He proceeds by telling people down the bar that he was joking. That’s not a joke, that’s an insult.

Outdated and rude bartenders. Don’t waste your time here; too many good bars to spend money at this one.

Great pub with some outdoor people watching and stiff drinks at a very reasonable price. Great staff and patrons. Bring your dollar bill to stick to the wall.

LADIES: PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. It is a dangerous place, I have no idea the extent to what these people are doing illegally or who else is involved, but I do know the bartenders are drugging the drinks. Please be careful in any bar bit definitely skip this one please.

My favorite place on second Street its a local favorite hang out kinda a hole in the wall type of bar but is absolutely worth trying out

Love this place. You want to have fun with people of all ages but mostly 20s/30s? This is your spot! Drinks are good with a lower than average price point… one pool table and a jukebox to keep the vibes rolling! Bartenders are mad cool except tall younger lady one. Not pleasant.

Bartenders would rather stand around taking shots than make drinks for customers. Waited over 30 minutes and didn't get any kind of recognition

So this is a fun hang out spot for some cocktails. It has a local feel & very popular. They do offer food and outdoor seating. If you want the small bar feel make sure you go here.

Great place for drinks and bar food. All of the people who work here are very friendly. This is the kind of bar you could go in alone and make friends.

An oldie, but a goodie. It’s a must stop in if you’re in the shore -although the music quality could be a little better. The staff and customers are always fun to talk to.
