First time here. Had 3 waters, calamari appetizer, California roll, whole fish and lemon nut crusted wild Mexican sea bass...$102. Let me start by saying our server was Steven who was very good! This place is very over priced for what the food tasted like. I don't mind paying good money to eat good food but I was disappointed here. The calamari was cold and rubbery but the two dips that came with it were delicious. Mac n cheese even though room temp it was still good. Sea bass was partially overcooked and undercooked but the crust was delicious, just wish the cook was right! The "whole fish" was blackened and olive oil flavored which was good but again, partially undercooked. Nice atmosphere/vibe and not busy around 4pm. One and done in this place is good for me!

I am vegan so eating there was out of the norm. But visually it was a very cool place to eat. I was in town to speak at a convention for photography and made the trip in. The beer I had was gross the carrots were pretty good!

11/20/23 Back a second time and it's just as welcoming and gorgeous as the first time. Hostess was as sweet as can be. Our waiter was friendly. Food was delicious. The veggies were absolutely yummy. I had brussel sprouts, asparagus, and a medley of carrots. The flavor in all these veggies was so amazing 🤩. So delicious 😋😋😋😋. The only thing I'd have to say that was slightly negative. Our waiter didn't realize too much chit chat was a bit much. I wanted the romantic feel and he kept coming over to talk to my BF and hung around exchanging stories. For the guys I guess that's fine but for the ladies who want a romantic evening.... Not so much 🤔🤔😠.. What an absolute gem of a place. So relaxing and everyone giving service with genuine smiles. We sat in the patio area. Great choice!

Great location. Plenty of seating available. Mask required to enter. Good service from staff. Food was delivered in a timely manner. Menu has a lot of great options for fish dishes from appetizers salads, sushi and main entrees. Chilean Sea Bass was excellent. Return visit ordered the Macadamia Nut crusted halibut with brussel sprouts and carrots. Great flavor, delicious overall, would order again.

The food is fine… nothing to write home about though. We got the crab cakes and octopus and weren’t overly impressed with either. The octopus was a little on the tough side and also was a little fatty (which is something I’ve never experienced). Ended up not getting other food because it was just ok… for those same items, I’d recommend 555 East a few blocks away. The drinks and service were great however!

I have celiacs, they assured me they took allergies very seriously, and they had a pretty big gluten free menu compared to similar places around here. The food was SO SO good. Both our entrees were about $35 and I would be more than willing to pay that again!

Reservation was made for 14 people and they were able to accommodate. We came to celebrate my nephew’s birthday 🥳 and his new employment LPFD 🧑🏾‍🚒. Angle and O were our servers and they were awesome at providing over and above services to such a large group. The sea food menu is massive with choices. The bar area is a great place to hang out while waiting on your party to arrive. This restaurant also has a nice patio area as well. I enjoyed the fresh Louie salad and for appetizers I had the Kings crab cakes with baby arugula. My nephew enjoyed his Filet Mignon and lobster. He said the filet mignon cut like butter and was delicious. Our cocktails were mixed to perfection. Paid Parking lots are located near by or street meter parking. Be ready to scan and pay for parking.

Amazing raw shellfish platter. The sand dab and buttercake were also very nice. The herbalist cocktail and clam chowder paired well together

Great food and equally amazing ambiance. I tend to order the tuna melt sandwich, nothing compared to Subway. The sandwich actually contains chunks of tuna and no mystery fish. It comes with a side of French fries and a pickle. The sandwich is pretty filling. You won’t be disappointed. The owner came by to check up on us and the server brought us several servings of bread and butter. We didn’t even had to ask for refills on our water and sodas. Excellent place to have a date or business meal.

This place is both classy and relaxed with excellent food and service. We were looking for some good clam chowder and we were not disappointed. We also had the brown butter lobster roll which was so yummy. We sat by one of the big open windows so we were able to enjoy the outside from a comfy booth. Would definitely recommend.

This restaurant is absolutely fantastic! They have a wide selection on their menu, from sushi, sandwiches to more formal seafood entrees. Usually that's not a good sign as a "jack of all trades is master of none". However, that is definitely not the case here. All the dishes were excellently prepared, presented and tasted amazing. I would strongly recommend the chilean sea bass here as it is one of the best I've tried. We were very satisfied with our meal and sould definitely come back to try more dishes!

We stopped by for a few drinks and a light meal. The staff was very approachable and friendly. The bartenders were helpful and attentive. I asked if the clam chowder came in a bread bowl and even though it doesn't, they accommodated me. The bartender even said he'd didn't know they could do that and she'd been working there a while. We had a great time there and would definitely recommend this place in Long Beach.

Service was amazing. They comped my dessert, which was such a great experience. Will definitely come back when I'm in LB again! Definitely get the octopus! They use real vanilla in their creme brulee, too!

It seems people go to King's Fish House for the oysters, but you won't go wrong ordering any of the number of seafood entries. Between all of us, we ordered the salmon, sea bass, swordfish and shrimp bucatini — everyone was very happy with their selections. One thing to note, two of us ordered the side of spinach and found it was really lemony. It paired well with the fish, but a bit much on its own. Prices were on the higher side, but kind of expected for a seafood restaurant in the middle of downtown Long Beach. Also, a big shout out to the staff who were extremely helpful and friendly.

This place is fantastic! The food is delicious and the service was just wonderful. The entire staff (hostess, servers, managers, and bartenders) were so warm and inviting. Did I mention that the food was DELICIOUS! My husband had the whole fish (pink bream) and is was so flavorful! The tomatoes were my favorite part. I had the linguini and clams. I wanted to drink the white wine sauce - that’s how good it was! The bartender made me the best drink - East Side (gin, muddled cucumber and mint, lime and simple syrup served up). Very refreshing. And you cannot leave without ordering the butter cake dessert with whipped cream, ice cream and fruit compote. Everything was just wow!

Came here for lunch after a memorial to our grandfather. Our hostess was Hannah, and it's easy to remember because it's spelled the same either way you spell it 🤣 Service was spot on. The appetizers came out quick, but it was a little longer on the drinks and main dishes. Food was delicious, with no complaints from anyone in our group.

Delicious!!! I was in town for a conference and went to dinner on Day 1. It was SO good that I went back on Day 2! First day, I had the Cioppino and it was Fantastic! Second day, I had the Chilean Bass and it was truly Amazing! On both days I had the key lime pie -- super yummy! Mervin, one of the managers, provided excellent service and hospitality!

Only ordered appetizers The Octopus was the best out of the three, the Poke was very spicy and the shrimp taquitos were delicious, crunchy and just a tiny bit spicy. The waiter was great. Had a very alcoholic lemon drop martini, one was enough to make me fuzzy

On the positive side, the atmosphere is nice - you can sit in the dining area or in/at the bar. The space is large and open, and it was pretty quiet in there. On the other hand, I don't think you can get away with these prices in LA without serving fresh fish. The oysters from anywhere but nearby clued us in first. $116 for two with a beer, a cocktail (would recommend the bramble), the Whole Fish, and the Cioppino. The whole fish had good flavor. As for the rest of it, a one and done here was enough for me.

A friend and i came this weekend, both with birthdays, excited to eat crab legs. Normally I can indulge on a pound myself, and we debated, then decided to get entrees and split the one pound, $80 crab legs. Good: entrees were delicious, service deserved 7 stars, atmosphere and cleanliness were spot on. Ugh: the $80 market price crab leg arrived. One leg broken into two pieces. I had one, my friend had one. I'm still shell shocked- from lack of shell. This was what they called one lb. This still bothers me today. So disappointing. That is the only crab we received for $80. No, I'm not including the price if the entrees. Just that crab leg you see in the pic. For this reason, I'd say avoid it at all costs, pun intended.

Shrimp was absolutely delicious! The lobster roll sandwich was also good! The lobster roll sushi was not my favorite, not anyone else’s fault but my own I think, still getting used to “real” seafood. The service was awesome I actually forgot my favorite Tito’s sunglasses and went back and you guys secured the package. Thanks for a great sea food experience while we was in Long Beach

Great oysters, but slightly overpriced. I found the octopus to be overpriced for the small portion they provide but appreciated the gourmet atmosphere. They also took about 30-40 minutes to deliver my octopus after I reminded them. The bartender then blamed the kitchen and the poor communication they had near closing.

This was the best meal I've had in years....no joke!! And the staff was impeccable!! Bravo!! Attentive, prompt, friendly....patient and accommodating. It's hard to impress me....they did on every point possible. Oysters were delectable. The bartender sat and conversed. Every question we had....she was more than happy to hunt down the answer. And I was with a very demanding person. She even made him smile. Whoa. The smashed potatoes....if I could, I would eat them twice a day. So creamy and flavorful I almost didn't believe they were real. They handcrafted the tastiest sweet vodka mule I've ever had....it was an awesome experience and I highly recommend making this a top priority on your list of LongBeach must try's!! Yum!! Pricey but worth every penny!!

King's Fish House never disappoints. Quality ingredients served with minimal sauces/seasoning allows the fantastic natural flavors to shine for all of their meals. From the lightly salted skin on their baked potatoes to the perfectly prepared steaks, the concept of 'attention to detail' raises the level of this dining experience to the rarely attained Five-Star level.
