AMAZING!!! Our server was wonderful. He helped us decide what Soju as we hadn't had it before and we went with his favourite. It was so good!!! The food was delicious!!! We got the veggie dumpling and they were delightful. Then the stone hot bowl. The cabbage kimchi as so good. My favourite!

This find was amazing.. after a long walk on the beach, this was the perfect place to dine. The server was amazing, he guided us through the menu as it was our first time there. We started off with a tofu with chicken soup and chicken wings (warning- their spicy is v spicy so watch out).. for the mains the pork bulgogi was fire! There was a lot more on the menu that I would have loved to try but will be back for sure!

Absolutely met all of my expectations and was the best experience! I got the bulgogi bibibop and we got kimchi pork belly fried rice, scallion pancakes, steamed veggie dumplings, and Angus beef short ribs- and two bobas!

Amazing Korean restaurant with plenty of vegan options and an extensive happy hour menu. Their kimchi is some of my favorite and they offer large jars to-go. I always opt for the boiling hot vegan mushroom tofu soup. It comes with a side of rice and is guaranteed to live you with left overs.

We had an amazing culinary experience at this spot! I've been to south Korea and I can say with moderate confidence that this place is pretty dang authentic! The service was excellent, with our server being a very nice dude, the ambience was pleasing to the eye, and the food itself melted in our mouths. I strongly recommend the spicy pork! It filled me up and reminded me of the little Korean diner I went to in Paji-su. I would easily become a regular if this place was nearby!

We ordered enough for four and loved almost everything. The cracking wings and mushroom fries came out first, we inhaled half before remembering we had a few more dishes. The short ribs were tasty and so was the yukgaejang. The seafood pancake was mushier than we preferred. We ended taking home half the meal and it was still tasty for lunch and dinner. The pancake I ended up pan frying flat a bit longer. Overall definitely recommended.

Best Korean food in Long Beach that I can find. Service can be spotty at times, but the food makes it all worthy. The Bulgogi is divine and thew banchan is serious game! Since the bao buns are not on the menu, we tried the sticky rice and were divine.

Our server (I think it said Jessica on our receipt) was phenomenal and so good to us. She checked in on us several times even though it was a very busy last Saturday evening, and she anticipated and corrected an issue with our drinks without us even having to ask or point it out. She went sooo above and beyond. She is clearly knowledgeable and passionate about her work. And she gave us a great first experience here, with kind and attentive service that is better than I've had at Michelin star restaurants'. The staff also accommodated us arriving really early for our reservation. The food was really good and affordable-- we had leftovers for days! I recommend the seafood pancake, and my partner really liked the seafood tofu soup. And the drinks were cheap and yummy too. But the service made our experience perfect!! Looking forward to coming back soon!

Love Sura ❤️ My family and I come to this place often, and we always leave satisfied. Their appetisizers, tofu dumpling soup, shitakis mushroom fries, and bagolgi are delicious. They also have macaroons! Great prices, large portions, and vegan options. Two bathrooms available, and clean indoor seating. Free parking in the front and back.

Everything everyone says about this place is true. The food is delicious. I usually just stick to tofu soup and galbi, which all tasted very good, but my favorite were our scallion pancakes and japche starters. Highly recommend this place. Will be returning again!

Planning a dinner outing with your vegan friend shouldn't feel like a culinary compromise. Forget limp salads and tofu scrambles – at Sura Restaurant, vegan palates (and yours!) are in for a flavor fiesta that'll leave everyone happy and full. So, ditch the veggie burger guilt trip and head to Sura, where meat-free magic awaits. Sura's secret weapon? Banchan. These free appetizers are a kaleidoscope of fermented delights, like tangy Kimchi dancing with refreshing cucumber and the smoky whisper of spicy bean sprouts. Each bite is a mini flavor adventure, proving vegan appetizers can be the star of the show. Just watch your plant-based pal's eyes light up with every delicious nibble! But the main event is the Bibimbap. Imagine this: a steaming cast iron bowl cradling a vibrant rainbow of perfectly cooked rice, crisp carrots, earthy mushrooms, and emerald green spinach, all glistening with sesame oil. A fiery dollop of Gochujang sits in the center, promising a symphony of sweet and spicy. For your vegan bestie, this dish is pure magic. Encourage them to mix everything together from the start – veggies, sauces, juices – to unlock the full flavor potential. Add a drizzle of hot sauce (Sura offers a range, from mild to melt-your-face spicy!), and watch their face transform with delight. The crispy rice at the bottom? That's the cherry on top (or rather, the caramelized crunch at the bottom), a reward for reaching the end and a testament to Sura's culinary skills. Sura isn't just about delicious food; it's about showing your vegan friend you care. By choosing a restaurant that caters to both omnivores and plant-based eaters, you're saying, "Let's explore culinary adventures together, without compromise!" And isn't that what friendship is all about?

Haven't been here in 4 years, since moving out of state, but it still is my favorite restaurant of all time. Nothing has changed, and that's the best. Impeccable service, absolutely incredible food, and a lovely atmosphere, all make for a perfect dining experience. For starters, we shared the scallion pancakes and shroom fries (both outstanding), my wife got the ttebeoki with cheese (which she loved). For the soups, I got the inferno vegan dumpling soup, a spicy, flavorful soup filled with soft tofu and thick veggie dumplings. My wife went with the spam and cheese tofu soup, which she said had soft spam cubes and some cheesy drizzle, she really enjoyed it. 5/5 across the board, so happy I was finally able to come back here!

Good things happen by accident. Driving around LBC and almost missed this place. Must be popular with the locals as the table turnover was constant. Love the energy of the server and the food was good (being closer to K-town have to say it was close). One thing I have to say the spicy pork marination can be rank up to par with most of the Korean restaurants I have been to. Why 4 stars you ask Kimchi was bland and the seaweed well seaweed nothing to shout about. Don’t be discouraged if there is a line outside it just something to be assured that the food is fresh and as I say the table turnover is quick but we were not rushed it’s just that the service was fast.

Bulgogi Fries and dumplings 😋 💯. Would absolutely go back, I'm eager to try other parts of their menu. Went on a Saturday afternoon, not crowded at all and parking was easy, I'd guess maybe not so much during peak hours. Oh and fans of ginger beer and/or Soju definitely try the Seoul Mule!

Amazing! This place is absolutely delicious! Wonderful to find a really great vegan menu with lots of options. They also use separate fryers to make sure there is no cross-contamination. I enjoyed all of the small appetizers, the crispy rice skewers (the sauce was soooooo good!) and the vegan bulgogi. The service was really good, all of the waiters were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was clean. I appreciated that they had hand sanitizer on every table. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!

While visiting family in the Long Beach area, we discovered this gem ... There was a 30 minute wait for a table, so we decided to sit at the bar and have a delicious handcrafted cocktail. Once seated at our table, we were also delighted with the appetizers and our entrees when they arrived. Definitely would return and recommend.

Cool ambience, relaxing music, great service. I had my very first bibimbap here (the vegan version) and unfortunately the whole dish was quite bland. The brown rice was a bit crunchy (not cooked all the way?) and didn't taste like it was seasoned at all. All the flavor came from the banchan (small side dishes) which saved the meal! I will go back to try their vegan bulgogi and other vegan items on their menu, which is a decent amount. :-)

Vegan Korean BBQ heaven!! Got the vegan tofu buns, kimchi rice, Bibimbap and Thai iced tea. Our waiter recommended a side of vegan jalapeno sauce for our food and it was delicious. Next time I'm trying the ramen. Friendly servers, great ambiance, and fair prices. Will come back again the next time we're in LBC. 🙏🏼❤️

Best Korean in Long Beach. You get these small dish items at the start that are so delicious, kimchi, lotus, and others. We had the Bulgogi Bibimbap and the Spicy Brisket Soup Yukgaejang. Perfect proportions and flavors. We ate every single bite. Also get a Taro smoothie, you will not regret it.

The customer service was really incredible and the food. Oh the food. When I first ate here in 2019 I drooled dreaming about coming back. I don't live in California anymore but whenever I get a chance to come back specifically to long beach I have to eat here at least once. They took good care of my mom who is kinda clumsy so I really appreciate that, just an outstanding place. Our server was Edward and he did an awesome job

Diverse Korean and fusion menu choices, impressive vegan shrimp fries (I see you, rice cakes), massive portion of Kimchi Pork Belly Fried Rice, tasty banchan. The street parking is not enough to dissuade me from coming back, but come here if you have lots of food room, you'll have plenty to take home!

American style Korean food. Everything is sweet. It seems very popular for non Asians. Service is great. Not recommended if you are up for authentic Korean food.
