Been meaning to check this Cambodian restaurant for quite some time, always seeing it while driving by in Long Beach. What a great way to spend the first day of the new year eating Cambodian Cuisine. My family had nothing but a great experience. Wait time for the busiest time of day during lunch was about 20-30 minutes, however well worth it. Their food was truly amazing and authentic to my appetite and hunger. Place is well organized, clean, friendly/excellent service. Parking is a challenge and you may have to circle around the blocks, however worth the hassle. My daughter & I had their Student Noodles, wife had the Mo Noodles, and some Thai iced tea to wash it down. We'll definitely be back to try other food items on the menu.

Super authentic and delicious Cambodian food! The menu is pretty extensive and the servers are happy to offer a recommendation. The restaurant isn’t very big so be sure to put your name in ahead of time or be prepared to wait - it’s that popular! You have to get the fried bread to dip in your bowl. It’s amazing!

Talk about a hole in a wall. Blink once, and you'll miss this place. It's a quaint restaurant along a busy street mostly dominated by houses and a few random shops. Parking is hard to find, so you'll have to circle the block a bit. There is a waitlist option at the front. We came on a saturday at 2 pm and it was 80% full. I can't imagine it at peak hours. On to the food, the beef stew was out of this world. I'm partial to anything that has tomato, tendon, and tripe in a sentence. So this was a no-brainer. Finished that to the last drop. Tried the loat cha stir fry noodle with egg on top. It was good, quite particular, but not my favorite. Then also had the cha qui or the breadstick. It inherently has very little flavor, but it was moist and also good. Portions are huge. For 2 people, these 3 items are definitely a lot. We didn't even get to finish the loat cha. We paid ~65 bucks for all these items. Overall - Decent prices, great quality food, hole in a wall atmosphere. Will definitely be back.

Phenomenal. Three of us came by for Friday lunch. At 1pm, only two of their ~14 tables were available. By 2pm, it was just us and a handful of other tables. Service is fast, and the street parking is doable, especially on Sherman Pl. Credit card accepted! My friend and I shared a dry Phnom Penh house special ($15 for a large) and a fish rice porridge ($15 for a large). And wow, the broth in both dishes was fantastic. The noodles were a bit sticky, but pouring in some broth helped loosen them up and add great flavor. The cha quai (which I know as you tiao, or Chinese donut stick) was fried well and dipped wonderfully in the rice porridge. This place was a delight. Highly recommend!

No time to take photos - too good. Soup, noodles, and side pairings (Asian breads) are all on point. Stir fry leaves more room to be desired, but various kinds of noodle soups more than make up for it. Worth a trip to Long Beach! Remember to get there early, lines can be long and you’ll have to secure street parking.

This is a local favorite for the Cambodians in Long Beach. The food is very fresh and a fair amount for the money. The round bread is baked everyday with other baked breads. I have never left hungry or unhappy. There is always a crowd but the line goes fast.

The bone broth was great. And the bread stick was perfectly made. The noodles and meat was just right. Service was on point. Fast and checked back repeatedly. Definitely worth going.

🔥 my mom and pa use to bring me here back in the 80s for Cambodian comfort food. When I'm in town I stop by with my family to enjoy the dishes here. Every bite I take bring back my childhood memories. YUMMY!

We were a party of 2 who arrived at 2pm and were wait listed on the iPad at the door for about 15 mins. We were surprised and impressed there were so many people enjoying this restaurant and now we know why, it is DELICIOUS!!! Hats off to the cooks and all the staff. ⭐

This is a small busy family own restaurant. Parking is horrible. They don’t have a parking lot so you can only park along the street. I recommend to join the waitlist on Yelp or Google so you don’t have to wait long when you get there. Their business hour is from 7:am to 3:pm and the restaurant is alway packed. The noodles is okay to me. But the restroom can’t flush. You have to open the water tank to flush. It needs to be fixed.

We heard how wonderful this place was. I tried dry pho for the first time. It was delicious. They serve the broth on the side. The broth was phenomenal. Definitely a great place for noodles.

Wonderful place!!! Parking can be more desirable (street parking). It's on a corner, small restaurant but phnom(enal) food 😅😅👌👌👍👍. I ordered the special (the number 1) large with soup on the side with fat egg noodles!!! Also ordered what I call Chinese donut to dip into their rich broth, hence the reason why I had the soup separated. The noodles are hearty and chewy like an Al dente firmness. The broth came with a nice chunk of pork bone. Had a hot tea and a hot coffee with condense milk. Our waitress is very nice and hospitable. She knew the menu quite well and answered all our questions. Overall, it is very comparable to Kim Ky noodles in San Gabriel, if not better due to the crispyness of their Chinese donut (I had 2 orders since they're were that good).

I had the pleasure of visiting Phnom Penh Noodle Shack in Long Beach and I must say it was the best Phnom Penh noodle I've ever had. This place is incredibly popular, and it's easy to see why. Despite how busy it gets, the service is friendly and top-notch. The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant adds to the experience, and I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped in. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you check out Phnom Penh Noodle Shack. It's a gem and not to be missed!

Every time I am in Long Beach, I have to hit this place up. They make the best chicken congee I have ever had. Their noodles are excellent as well. I love supporting Khmer businesses.

The choat la was excellent and the Mo's special with the thin rice noodles was good as well. We got an egg soda which was also tasty. Service was excellent, wait for the food was average. There's a wait to be seated but there's an online wait-list so it was also fine. All in all, no complaints whatsoever.

I'm new to the area and have been here 3 times. Each time I loved it. The staff are nice and yes, there is a line usually on weekends, but isn't that a good thing? The food is good and the menu is kept simple. I like this place.

Broth was very hearty and I loved it with the bread sticks! I wanted it to have a little kick so I added some jalapeños from the table but it didn’t really do much. Still really good, hearty soup!

Anything you get is bound to be delicious. You can ask for soup on the side for your noodles or have your noodle soup served altogether. They're usually pretty busy but it's definitely worth the wait. This place is a must try.

This place is so packed. You can join their waitlist on Yelp to prevent from waiting too long. Their waitlist system is pretty good. It tells where you are at on the waiting list, so you can time your arrival accordingly. However, the place doesn’t offer parking space, so you will need to give yourself 5-10 minutes to find the parking spot. There are usually more parking available on the small street behind the restaurant. Their dry noodle bowl comes with a bowl of soup with a big pork bone. Their portion was good enough for an adult and a kid. It was good as expected from their popularity. We were not super impressed with their Me-Ka-Tang.

Very average food, ordered their signature noodle, however I was not impressed but little bit disappointed, the ingredients wasn’t fresh. It’s a small restaurant with few seats, hard to find parking, service is very slow.

A super pleasant surprise. This is my first time trying Cambodian food. I got the beef slices & meatball noodles dry with soup on the side. I thought the noodles would be plain, but they were stir fried with garlic flavor and quite delicious on its own! Squeezing a lime on top helps balance out the slightly oily, garlicky, slightly sweet savoriness of the dish, so I do recommend using the lime slices the dish comes with. The broth on the side came with like the head of a pork shank with meat on it as well. It was a pretty hearty soup full of collagen that gels up the soup when chilled. Flavor wise it was a little sweet for me though. I preferred the flavor of the dry noodles by itself, so I'm very glad that you could get it separately.
