What a calm, very chill atmosphere. My first time here and everyone was extremely nice and accommodating. We sat at the benches and the wait wasn't very long as we sip on our mimosas. A lovely place to have breakfast.

Good food, friendly staff. The place has two different vibes. Inside is a total older diner vibe, which I totally loved, and outside is more of a hip vibe that overlooks the marina. There's a wait though, which personally I don't like. Special menu for St. Patrick's day including green mimosas!

Don't come here looking to sit down for breakfast at 10 AM. Come here looking to enjoy the sun, marina and atmosphere fir the morning. Be prepared to wait an hour and a half to two hours on a weekend, but the food is so worth it. Huge plates so come hungry. Crab avocado Benedict was beyond delicious! The Bloody Mary was the best I've ever had, great flavor. t is a bit pricey here, but the price is right for the quality! Service here was friendly and plentiful.

Came here with my family and food tasted really good. Place has a nice view with the water and boats near by. The wait time can be long to sit down depending on the time you go but they bring it your food fast once you order. Place can be kinda hidden from street view. I would definitely come back again.

Good to great food, very decent prices. I had the cheeseburger with sweet potato fries, the cheeseburger tasted home made and so did the sweet potato fries. My nephew had the club melt, my other family had the oatmeal and pancakes, good earth sandwich, and the mess. Everyone said their food was good. I wanted to apologize the hostess. There were 6 of us, 2 of us, made her job had. The first table was a square table, my brother in law thought it was too small, he's a big guy. Arrived at 914am, it was about a 50 min wait. Ordered, got our food at 11:09am. The food was good but nothing extraordinary about it for me to say I have to go again, soon.

This restaurant is right off the docks in Long Beach. You're surrounded by water and lots of boats. We waiting about 15 minutes to get seated but enjoyed some delicious drinks while waiting. The outdoor seating area was clean and well shaded. The service was good. The food came out promptly and was yummy. A lovely place to enjoy brunch on a clear day!

Went for brunch on January 16, 2022. Restaurant was busy as usual. Hostess quoted us a 75 minute wait so we went for a walk around the marina. Table was ready after 20 minutes. Showed up 5 minutes after text and hostess said they gave our table to the next group since we weren't their and we could have the next table. Next table was in the sun, there was one right next to it that had shade. We asked to switch but hostess said the group for the table was already paged. We said okay, ordered food and waited. 15 minutes passed and the group didn't show so we asked the waitress to switch and they let us. Food came out afterwards. I had the Captain's Benedict and asked for my eggs poached. Waitress notified that all poached eggs at restaurant are poached medium. Flavors of the Benedict were good. Good portion of bacon, tasty gravy, dense biscuit. Hash browns were undercooked with no flavor. Friends ordered the Traditional Eggs Benedict and the Country Breakfast. Hollandaise sauce on the Benedict was thick and a tad salty. Chicken Fried Steak for the Country Breakfast was overcooked and hard to cut. TL;DR Restaurant has a beautiful view of the marina. Waitresses are friendly, hostesses not so much. Come for the drinks, not the food.

Great atmosphere and customer service. We got there at 9am and we're seated by 9:22am, it got really packed and busy around 10am. The food is delicious, the cinnamon French toast is amazing and I don't even like French toast. The Dennys scramble was really good and I also liked the gravy and biscuits. The kids breakfast menu was limited, but my daughter was happy with her pancakes. They could add more things to the kids menu though. The kids apple juice was good. Need to go back and try their lunch menu. Definitely recommend this place.

There was more dough than fish. Maybe pass on the fish and chips if you come. It's like if the fish was thick coated in biscuit dough. Unfortunately, the batter was so thick it was soaked in grease and raw in the inside. I love fish and chips because it should be a tasty meal that is lightly battered, seasoned, and crispy. The texture felt like a fish flavored funnel cake. I feel like the location indicates that ANY fish dish is going to be perfection (freshly caught or... received frozen from a truck). After adding salt, the fries were fine.

Wonderful place! Such a sweet location and view. It has a very warm and vibrant atmosphere. I ordered the Crab Benedict, AMAZING! My girl got Lox and Bagels and tbh it was probably the best breakfast item i have ever tasted! The owner seems like a really cool guy and seems to genuinely enjoy just being there and sharing some laughs. Ill be back soon!

22.00 bottle of champagne for mimosas breakfast for two and side of French toast all under $70. Staff was very nice and food was good. Atmosphere was great as we sat outside next to the harbor. Will definitely visit again.

If you are looking for a great traditional American breakfast this is the place. Very clean and organized with fresh good tasting food. This place cracks your egg on the griddle unlike other places that use a box mix or pre scramble your egg. I highly recommend schooner or later for a great breakfast.

I’ve gone here one time before and it was nice, today I get there with my wife. Drive from LA. And it was horrible. The food is plain, chilaquilles came out cold so I asked the server to microwave it and she said ok. Brought it back out and never came to check in on us once after. Almost seemed like she was avoiding interaction. My coffee got cold and she never came, I wanted a coke, she never came. After trying to catch her attention she brought the check and left us alone for 15 min. I had to go give her my card so she could charge me. She threw the card at my hand. Didn’t finish the greasy food and left. Won’t ever come back here. We rate it a 2 out of 10. Scenery is nice but don’t expect a great meal or service.

I loved the seating area with the beautiful water view. Service was great. Expect over an hour wait on weekends. I didn’t enjoy the food though, it lacked flavor. Portions were ok.

Had the cinnamon roll french toast with bananas. Me and friends shared the waffle brown(which was awesome) and then a side of hash browns and we all shared a bottle of mimosas(also was awesome) i always love the food here!!

Excellent location for breakfast and brunch. I ordered “The Mess” and was not disappointed. You’ll want to order some salsa on the side with The Mess. We sat inside this time but have been seated next to the water/bay too.

A brunch staple on the bay front. Ample outdoor seating but expect to wait on weekends. Generous mimosas and frosty beers (or micheladas) in big schooners while you wait. Excellent selection of American and Mexican breakfast, lunch and diner classics. Look out for "the mess" and the rancheros.
