Nestled along the harbor in Long Beach is Tantalum, a stylish, and romantic restaurant. You can enjoy one of their signature cocktails while watching the sunset. The menu offers unique Asian fusion as well as a host of items to please every palate. Every appetizer and entree was plated beautifully and tasted even better. The steaks were sublime and generously portioned. The dessert were true works of decadent culinary artistry. And we also enjoyed quite the variety of flavored Marguerita's.

Love this hidden gem tucked away in the corner of a shopping plaza. Beautifully designed tropical themed oasis restaurant with beautiful views of the marina. Love the fusion take on Asian food here, desserts are great and still need to try all the cocktail drinks on the menu🍹. Would be great if they expanded their menu for more food options. Last time came here on a whim and they had live music, it was awesome!

One of my favorite spots to eat. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. The food is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's on the water and they have live music on Wednesday evenings. You would not know that this place exists based on the location (in a strip mall). This particular time we went for my daughter's birthday and the band was kind enough to sing her Happy Birthday. 😊

My favorite restaurant in Long Beach so far this trip! Filling portions of delicious food and service. Highly recommend the beef and chips, it’s literally a meal in itself! The pad thai was okay but I didn’t care for the dark pieces of chicken meat and some cartilage that I got. And dark chocolate lava cake dessert was decadent and so yummy.

The waterfront dining is a view of condos or apartments & moored boats, it's not ocean views & waves. I'm glad we dined outside because they had loud, live music inside & it was...not pleasant to hear. To be fair, the calamari appetizer is outstanding. There are large strips with a great breading & tasted great on their own, but the aioli they're served with is the perfect complement. We split the pad Thai & the calamari & it was enough for my wife & I. It's a cool place to be stylistically, that's for sure. The pad Thai was good but not great. I would try something else if we ever go back - we live in Idaho & were in the area for my wife's job so will we ever go back? Probably not, as there are SO MANY restaurants in the Los Alamitos/Seal Beach area. If I got a different main dish that was on par with the calamari in terms of creativeness & uniqueness, I'm sure I would have given it 1 more star. Service was good & we were seated immediately on a Thursday evening after 7pm. I can't comment on the price, it seemed a little steep but then most dinner places we ate while there seemed expensive to me so that's probably par for the area.

Great location but what a bust. I’m sure you are seeing things on your social media, which makes sense. The place was completely empty. Furniture was dated and the “atmosphere” was the ghost of a dilapidated Disney Hawaiian resort. I ordered calamari and got a chicken finger rendition of fish. Look up calamari and look at my photo and proceed to google another restaurant to eat.

Really nice Asian Fusion place. The decor transported me to another world. There were even a few bolted down rickshaws that you can capture a few pictures sitting in them. Now to the food! My girlfriend Teri and I were truly amazed at how delicious everything we ordered was. She had the ribeye steak and I heard her say it was cooked to perfection. I had the ribeye sandwich and I concur! There's something special about a restaurant were the Manager comes to each table to check in with the guests. Adam was very attentive when doing so. Throw in a spectacular view and it doesn't get no better than this! I give this place a thumbs up! Way up!

Tantalum Restaurant is a beautiful restaurant located in the corner of a shopping center. The interior is decorated in a tropical style, with lush greenery, bamboo accents, and a waterfall feature. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and it's a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. Unfortunately, the food at Tantalum Restaurant is not up to par. The dishes are mediocre at best, and the prices are high. I ordered the pad thai, which was bland and overcooked. My friend ordered the grilled salmon, which was dry and over-seasoned. The service at Tantalum Restaurant is excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive, and she was always happy to make recommendations. However, even the best service can't save mediocre food. Overall, I would not recommend Tantalum Restaurant. The atmosphere is beautiful, but the food is not worth the price.

There was a two hour wait for seating in the upper level so we got a window seat on the main floor and still had a great view of the marina. The food was fantastic. I ordered the crispy tofu and it was the best tofu I’ve had to date. I would definitely order it again. Our server was excellent and very attentive. Would definitely recommend.

Pleasantly surprised. It’s one of those places where photos don’t do justice. Honestly, all the photos I saw on Google and Yelp was not very convincing that this was the restaurant I wanted to take my friend for her birthday. I am so glad I took her! Not only was the place beautiful, the choices on the menu, presentation of the food, price and the service was all excellent. I just wish reception desk would do a better job. I just don’t find bunch of people standing and talking when guests are coming in to be very rude and unappealing. It would’ve been nice if they were more professional, prompt and helpful. We liked our waiter though. He is easy going, not too pushy nor overly friendly. Took good photos for us, got us everything we requested on a prompt manner and explained the specials real well. Food wise, scallops were the best thing we had, it’s totally worth it please get it. The portions aren’t big though. If you’re getting scallops as an entree, make sure you have appetizer, salad or a soup unless you have a tiny appetite. Our next favorite was the tuna tartare. I feel like flavors could’ve been better though. I make poke nachos and makis at home all the time. In terms of seasoning, something was lacking in that tuna tartare. Our least favorite was the mussels. It was a creamy sauce but I couldn’t really figure out what it was supposed to be. Not a hearty tomato base, not totally creamy either. Somewhere In between. Bread was good but the sauce lacked much flavor. Mussels were too tiny, lacked meat. Would I revisit? Definitely! Next time will try steak, fish entree.

It's a hidden gem! Food, service and atmosphere is so nice. They have a great selection of dishes that are an infusion of seafood Aztec- Mediterranean. Plenty of wines to help pair with your entree. This place is tucked back in behind an office like building and you would never know it was there. It's a great place to be by the ocean while your enjoy each other company. A fabulous place for a date night.

Beautiful atmosphere, good food, even better drinks. The menu options were fair but had something for everyone. Their artichoke appetizer was amazing. It was topped with a creamy shrimp dip. The oysters tasted very clean and fresh! The truffle Mac flavor was on point! For my entree, I tried the Scottish Salmon, which was paired with a watermelon salad 👀. Interesting and very tasty! I tried the blood orange margarita which was decent, BUT the Frose’ !!!

Our waiter Taylor made our experience incredible! He was very knowledgeable about the dishes and we felt so confident in his words we pretty much had everything he suggested including dessert which I rarely order. The appetizer and main courses were too delicious to get a picture of. Can't wait to go back!

Very good food but I could find something I like more for less. But it is good and the service was great. I am disappointed by the lack of shrimp and chicken in my pad Thai, I had like three shrimp and two pieces of chicken with a mountain of noodles. The people I ate with said theirs was great so I made my review higher but my meal was not something I would get again.

It was ok. Nothing extravagant. The kiwi margarita did not taste like kiwi. The fruit was stale. Cucumber crush had no pineapple. This is unacceptable. Also the short rib sliders were not that great I've had much better at Arby's. Service was good in the outside patio. We passed by many servers looking for a seat and no one approached us we look like deer in headlights. I mean I want to know why there's 3 servers in the front on their phones chatting away and I'm over here lost trying to find a seat to have a very expensive meal with my family. The best part was the nice view that about it.RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST.

Another great date night or dinner with friends spot! It sits right along the water, you can see the sunset, private yachts and boats sailing around the channel. Oh the food delicious, drinks really nice and the service impeccable!!

Great high-end restaurant on the water. Lots of cool Asian themed statues and decor. 2 bars and lots of seating including a lounge area with couches. We had the Beef n' Chips which are short rib, duck fat fries, which were delicious. The bar we sat at had a great view of the water, boats, an apartment building with docks. Good people watching. The waitstaff seemed a little stressed, but that didn't effect the service. We got our drinks and food in a timely manner. It is a little pricey, so we ended up going somewhere else after about an hour. I'd go back for sure for an anniversary or Valentine's.

Great interior, overlooking Alamitos Bay. The bar stretches through the lower level of the restaurant looking out onto the water. The food was great! I enjoyed the mussels although there was a few not tasty dead mussels. The Live music was lovely and the drinks were priced really well.

We had a wonderful date night here. Alyssa was a shining star server- attentive and kind. The food was good, especially the macaroni and cheese in the skillet. The house salad was large and fresh. The outdoor seating was kept comfortable with awnings, heaters, and mood music.

Words cannot express on how much this location continues to provide good service starting from management to crew. They are always friendly and helpful, along with good quality food with no problems at all. I strongly recommend that this location is given a 5 star rating because that's what we as customers want and they deliver as always. Much respect to the owner of this location for having a good strong crew along with their management. We will always continue to go to this location on a regular basis going forward.

This is a cozy place right next to the shoreline where you can enjoy a water view. The bloody orange margarita was tasty and the mimosas were nice when you purchase the entire bottle since we got orange, pineapple and cranberry juices to choose from. The food was really good but each meal was enough for two people to share as everyone took half of their meal home. The waiter was nice and even the busboy was very attentive and asked to remove dishes which kept our table clean. The only down side was the hostess was not very friendly when seating us so glad it was a brief interaction for our visit.

Tantalum is one of my favorite restaurants in Long Beach. It's right on the water. The ambiance and scenery is amazing. It's a great place to go on a romantic date. They have a live band there which really set the mood. And they also have a Big screen TV at the bar if you would like to watch the game. Also... Amazing backgrounds to take beautiful pictures. The service was great a well. Check it out... you won't be disappointed.

From the moment you walk in, you feel like you are transported to Tulum. The decor and atmosphere are just that nice. Delicious food and drinks!! The outside patio has an amazing view of the sunset over the marina.

The food and drink here are excellent. I had a blood orange margarita that gave me a good buzz. It was delicious. My friend and I ate the kobe sliders, chicken wraps, and an heirloom tomato salad. The sliders were divine; kobe beef does make a difference! The chicken wraps were also delicious. I liked that they used butter lettuce for the wrap and the two sauces combined nicely after all the toppings were added. The salad was another winner. Needed just a tad of salt, bur overall, very good. It did not disappoint. Service was excellent and it was nice to sit by the marina and watch the activity in the water. If I have a complaint, it's only that the inside of the restaurant was too dark! I know it was part of the ambiance but for someone with vision, balance, and/or health issues it might be a problem. Good part, we ate in the patio.

Had diarrhea after eating the swordfish here. Food was very bland and not flavorful. I had to ask for more seasoning and sauce. The artichoke appetizer was not as good as other reviewers have said (don’t order it). The services were good though. You would be better off going to an actual Asian restaurant instead of this one for better food.
