I had a late breakfast with my sons. There was a light drizzle but otherwise comfortable. The staff was very helpful in getting us seated indoors comfortable. We ordered pancakes, waffles, omelettes, hot chocolate and coffee. Everything was well made. I believe you can’t go wrong, whatever you order here.

Popular local spot with homey food. Came here for brunch on a Sunday around 10:30am in a group of 4 and there was a 30 minute wait. You have to be there when they call your name (they don’t send a text when a table is available). Indoor and outdoor dining. Single occupant restrooms available inside in the right backhand side. Credit cards accepted. Pets were allowed. It’s kid-friendly. Metered street parking. The employees were all very nice and efficient. The food for the most part was rich and heavy - perfect for a hangover or when you feel like feasting. The fried chicken and waffles as well as the eggs Benedict were a good call.

Food is really good and presented well. Portions are normal. Prices are fair. It didn't take long to get our food. All employees are welcoming and friendly. The place is a bit small but it works. It is next to a hotel shared parking lot. Also has patio seating. If I'm ever in the area I will definitely return.

This was an awesome recommendation! The breakfast bar is where it is at! The service was immediate and accommodating. Food was quickly prepared and served hot. The waffles were light and fluffy. Eggs were cooked well and the pancakes were light and fluffy as well. I would normally feel stuffed from such a breakfast, but we both agreed that for as much as we had, we didn't have that full feeling, which was great. I highly recommend!

Unique changes to the standard breakfast. Get an egg casserole in place of an omelette. The breakfast sandwich (Sammy) has has a gravy on it. Crunchy potato pancakes in place of hash browns. The portions and flavors were excellent. Our table of 8 liked the casserole the best followed closely Sammy. If you like deviled eggs like I do, you have to order the devil frys.

Came to this place on a whim. I thought we would be waiting a while since the line was so long but only waited 30 mins. Our waiter who looked like Bryan Callen was super nice! We did wait for the food a little bit. I ordered eggs papi and my friend got the meatloaf breakfast. Very good. I got the queen Mary bloody Mary. Very delicious. I would come back because their pancakes looked awesome!

Great family owned restaurant. A lot of different options to order. The eggs Noni were delicious. The lemon pancakes were good but are very sweet. The donut sammy had a lot of the filling and could have used about half of it. It looks like they had a great drink menu as well

This was our 1st visit to TBB & it is now one of our go to places for a delicious breakfast when we visit LB!! My party of 4 was very happy!!!! Also, the vibe was nice, the music was great 😃

This place was busy but I was seated immediately at the bar. Plenty of seating inside and out to accommodate huge numbers. Food came out quick. Staff was friendly. I ordered their famous lemon cake batter pancakes. The were tasty, the icing was good. However, if you are expecting pancake texture, you won't get that. It's like cake, it crumbles. Plenty of other good things on the menu and I'd probably try something else when I return. I enjoyed my visit.

Excellent service, super friendly staff and the food was superb! Breakfast is so important and the Mimosas sealed the deal for me. My Birthday pancake was so awesomely delicious! A real lemony treat. It was a Beautiful So Cal day, so we sat outside to eat, but yes, there is indoor seating available. Will I visit again, you ask? "I'll be back."

Overall, this was a solid breakfast spot in long beach. The food was decent, but the service is what would keep me coming back. The atmosphere was fun, good music was playing and all of the staff working the bar were on point from attentiveness to their overall demeanor. I would not recommend the turkey sausage as a meat option. The saw shrimp and grits were solid, though the grits aren't traditional style. The best breakfast/lunch place in Long Beach (i would even say the whole of LA). The staff is amazing. Especially Michael You feel super welcome straight away and the customer service is perfect. We were in LA for 5 days and went here 7 times because we wanted to try everything on the menu. My favorite were the lemon pancakes (never had any better pancakes anywhere) as well as the different eggs Benedict’s. No matter if you come here for a family breakfast/lunch or for the hangover food it is just perfect. We can’t wait to come back. Love from Germany ❤️

We were only in Long Beach one night so we wanted to try a good breakfast spot. This place did not disappoint. It's an unassuming joint with a very flavorful menu items you won't find anywhere else. Like dad's favorite lemon cake batter pancakes (SO good!!!) and Uncle Marcee's omelet casserole with potato pancake and fresh fruit. The whole place had a rustic mom and pop vibe with a Mexican fusion. The servers were cool and checked in regularly to make sure things were good. If you have one night in Long Beach or a lot of nights, make sure to stop in at the Breakfast Bar!

Took my family for a nice Sunday breakfast and was pleasantly surprised by the food quality and customer service. An ok recommend to anyone who is in downtown Long Beach. Burrito is a bit dry but it is a nice outdoor food experience

I loved my breakfast - country fried corn flake chicken breakfast and we shared the tots... delicious. Our waitress was adorable and seemed super sweet. I would definitely eat here again... Super cool menu with lots of options. Liked that there are Gluten free and vegan options.

Loved this place!! The food was delicious and then people were awesome! Even my teenager and 4 year old enjoyed their food! We went a cruise and ate here on the morning of embarkation. We loved it so much we are here when we goe back from our cruise. I ordered different items at both visits and both were delicious!

The breakfast bar is an amazing spot to stop at in Long Beach if you’re looking for breakfast or brunch. They were just two of us, and we didn’t order too much food… So watch out for that “appetizers” section because they’re all the same! Lol but all very delicious. My friend got the shrimp and grits and said they were 10 out of 10. I got the cornflake fried chicken, which was absolutely amazing with the country gravy and potato pancake. I could eat that all the time it was so delicious. We also got the spiked lemonades, which were amazing… I got the berry, my cousin got the watermelon. Would definitely stop again if I was back in Long Beach.

This place is the bomb!!! Delicious. Great service too. We had amazing breakfast burrito and sandwich. Plus fresh toast and berries. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend

Yummy this place was a little piece of heaven. Great food and great service. Too many things to try in 1 stop, I'll have to come back again.

Service was very friendly and offered suggestions on the menu. Food portions are good size which is nice since going out to eat in California is pricey. Homemade tomato soup has more of a kick than I was expecting, but it was still very good.

The lemon pancakes were so warm and the citrus icing was a PERFECT replacement for standard syrup. The tomato basil soup and grilled cheese were very tasty as well. The grilled cheese had just the right amount of truffle oil- not overwhelming at all. I will say the tomato basil soup was more of a minestrone type soup, but it was a perfect pairing for the grilled cheese. Eat on the patio!!
