Really great and tasty food! Came here after spending the day at the aquarium and my wife saw the menu and said we have to try it out. The steak and fish were cooked perfectly and the artichoke dip was righteous! The check-in system was decent, but we did wait about 1ins for someone to come and seat us after we had been called up. Their system was probably funky that day though.

Spent a few days in Long Beach recently and wanted to try Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. for the first time. Being from the east coast where fresh seafood is abundant I must say I was truly disappointed. The initial wait was only about 20 minutes for a table on the patio so I spent time browsing the souvenir shop until my table was ready. Unfortunately I had to wait another 23 minutes for a server to take my drink order! I should have left at this point but I was hungry and had almost an hour vested. After ANOTHER 10 minutes, he finally took my order. I ordered Forrest's Seafood Fest which consisted of 6 fried shrimp, 4 small seafood hushpuppies (bland with no taste of seafood whatsoever), 2 or 3 fishsticks instead of whole pieces (which I assumed would be whole Cod when advertised as fish and chips), a small batch of shoestring fries hidden by a bunch of sauces. It was served in a basket like a snack meal and definitely not worth the $$$ pricetag. Had I known I would have definitely gone elsewhere. Buyer beware, restaurant chains are the WORST place for seafood. Don't let the name fool you! The only thing nice about this place is the view of the Aquarium across the street. I will not be returning. 😡

Tourist spot located right by the harbor and the Aquarium of the Pacific. There’s plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. They offer validated two hour parking if you park in the Aquarium of the Pacific garage. It’s kid-friendly and plenty of things to look at in terms of decor. They have random trivia where you compete against other tables for bragging rights, so perhaps watch Forrest Gump as a refresher before eating here. Credit cards accepted. The portions are really big. The calamari was too salty so I’d steer clear of that, but I did like the jambalaya. It also kept well for lunch the next day. Forrest’s Seafood Feast is good for two people to share. I would also say get some clam chowder on the side because it’s large and also better than I was expecting. They have alcohol and for certain items, you can get souvenir cups from the gift shop for free.

It was my first time dining in here and I had a wonderful experience! The foods tasted fresh but the chowder's proportion was very little for $6. I thought it says a cup but I didn't think it would be a plate with a small bump on the middle. Other else the experience was excellent.

One of my favorite restaurants period. They definitely captured the Forrest Gump movie feel. The gumbo was good and they have plenty of good drinks. The place can get packed but worth the wait. Plenty to see around there.

I don't hand out 5 star reviews unless a location hits on all 3 phases of in-person dining. We were greeted and seating with smiles and hospitality. I wanted to sit in the bar area to finishing watching the basketball game, this was no concern. Upon being seated DAZZ began to take good care of us with fast service and prompt responses to menu questions. Orders were taken and serves correctly no follow-up or re-order items. Shrimp was baked to perfection, plated with beauty, and tasted delicious. The restaurant was clean and orderly, had friendly staff, and was appropriately priced for location. Recommendations: Calamari, Fried and Baked Shrimp

Great atmosphere 👌, friendly service, they comped the parking which was nice. Shrimp how ever you like it! If you are a fan of the movie it makes it that much better!

Terrible service! We can’t receive any text message to take a seat. Many people are crowded. Manager also knew that we couldn’t receive message but he didn’t do anything. Manager’s attitude isn’t good, but Foods are not bad. If you want to go there, you have to be prepared to wait for more than an hour.

If I could give more than 5 STARS, I'd give BUBBA'S 10 STARS. They ROCKED! It was my Dad's 86th BIRTHDAY & this is where he wanted go. So, 22 of us met up to celebrate his day. The 2 HOST'S at the front met my request of accommodating all 22 of us. We had FANTASTIC service from our Server FRANKLIN, Thank You!👌🏽🥳 The food was EXCELLENT TOO & we were all served at the same time with HOT food😋😋

All of our food was prepared just right! Except for the "I'm stuffed!" Shrimp. My mom, aunty, Grandma, and I thought the taste was not pleasant. Our servers stayed on top of checking in with us and providing what we needed. The inside of the restaurant was clean and the decor is exactly what Bubba Gump should look like.

Great atmosphere, food and service top notch. The ribeye was cooked to perfection. Had the opportunity to visit the sister location in Venice Beach and service did not disappoint. I love all the forest Gump memorabilia. Outside you are able to take a picture on the bench next to Forest's lunch box and put your feet in his shoes. If you order an icee you get a free light up cup !! Very, very good, we will definitely be back!!! 🌟 🌟

A lovely place to chill in case you are visiting the Aquarium or the Harbor Cruise at Long Beach. We had the batter fried shrimps and salmon with rice. Full marks to the grill salmon as well as the service provided. The rates are a little on the higher side, though. The decor is nice and brings in nostalgia if you’re a Forest Gump fan!

Went here after visiting the Aquarium of the Pacific. It wasn’t anything great, just basic. My husband’s order came out like 10-15 minutes before everyone else’s. The veggies and Mac and Cheese were bland. I had to season my salmon with salt and pepper. My sister said the steak had decent seasoning, but it wasn’t cooked to order and my daughter said her corn dogs were just fine. I’ve been to Bubba Gump in NYC years ago and loved it so that is why we decided to dine here, but definitely not the same experience. The service itself was lacking.

My friend and I went at around 3:30 on a Wednesday. It was my first time visiting, and I really liked the look of the atmosphere in this place. We were immediately seated, and our server Hannah was so quick, kind, and awesome! We ordered the garlic bread basket for our appetizer, which was super delicious. For our main meal, we got a scampi and a barbeque burger. I thought the scampi was delicious and it came with a side of bread as well. The barbeque burger was also great and it came with a side of fries that were well seasoned. Overall, I enjoyed my meal here at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and I would definitely recommend and come again.

Huge portions!!! The side salads could easily be a meal themselves, so keep that in mind when ordering. It was a challenge just to finish the salad to be able to get to my main meal, which was also huge. Everything was delicious though, and I highly recommend getting a side of the bourbon bbq sauce. The staff was super nice too. Don't forget to validate your parking ticket!

Not much to it, mostly nostalgic. Good for what it is, if you like deep fried goodies. I had the Po-boy, bread was over toasted and difficult to eat. Shrimp mac and cheese was very good! The Fried shrimp was good cooked perfectly.

Had a church outing on Saturday Oct. 8th. We decided to have an early dinner after our Harbor cruise and we picked Bubba Gump in Long Beach. It was perfect because we just had to cross the street from dock two. The whole group of 28 walked over, we waited about 5 minutes to have everyone seated. The team had taken the time to decorate with balloons and had made a special menu just for us. Drinks were brought out right away, then salad & garlic bread. The food took a bit but it was a busy weekend and our group was big. After the main course dessert came out right away. We had two young servers that were on the job. They were friendly and really took care of our group. Everyone in our group complimented me for choosing this place. They loved the food and the attention from the staff. Anthony and manager Derek made it all happen. We even got to thank the chef personally. Thank you and all your staff for such a wonderful experience. Like I mentioned everyone in our group loved it.

The food was great, the waiters are super nice and attentive. We didn't have to wait to get a table for 8 people, which is pretty good. The restrooms and the place us super clean and sanitized.

Not so happy wd my Shrimp balls, BUT the White Rice was just phenominal - yes, White Rice! They seasoned it with something I cannot decipher & it had little green leaves - chopped fine, not sure if its cilantro... My husband liked his platter order of an assortment. Service was fun & sincere! Place was very relaxing! Will go again when in California!

The food here is on point. Their strawberry pecan salad with chicken is a must try as their raspberry dressing complements the caramelized pecan and the salad very well. As for their main course, I always get their grilled salmon served with a sweet sauce on rice as the salmon is often not overcooked and melts in your mouth. Their fresh-baked cookie topped with vanilla ice cream served in a skillet is a perfect dessert to end with as the warmness of the cookie is complemented very well with the cold fresh ice cream. My only comment is that their service is sometimes slow because of their format of using the run forest fun and stop forest stop signs.

The food was more than fabulous coupled with the service of Kyle and Kait made this a Michelin star experience without the Michelin star prices. I was COMPLETELY blown away!!!

Loved everything about this place! The service was amazing and they have little signs to let your server know when you need them to stop by or skip your table. The food is fresh and delicious and not super expensive. The atmosphere is fun and cute. Lots of themed decorations. Menu is primarily seafood, mostly shrimp, but still varied and extensive. You can find something for everyone here. Lots of grear variety, including the drinks. Prices are also just right for a date night. LGBTQ friendly! We had a great time.

There was a little of a wait but other than that, food was pretty good. We did try one of the "menu recommended" dishes which was the calamari but it wasn't as good as the other dishes we got which weren't marked as recommended. Don't be afraid to try something that isn't a popular dish at the restaurant!!

It’s our first time here & we think it was ok. We ordered calamari for starters; our first bite was bland, the breading needs flavor and it was greasy. I ordered Jenny’s Surf & Surf; the grilled salmon was overcooked/dry, the grilled shrimp is ok, needs more flavor, the rice & broccoli were cooked perfectly. My husband ordered Shrimp Po’ Boy; the battered shrimp by itself was salty, the bread is good and it’s a good sandwich overall, the fries were good. The service was great! Are we going to come back??? Maybe… but not in a hurry.

Great outdoor dining, great seafood. Beware of pigeons. They will steal your food in no time. Aquarium is very close, opposite side of the road.

Since I don't really like shrimp, I order the salmon. What made me surprise was the jasmine rice. It has a little creamy stuff on it, and it tastes great! By the way, nice service, nice atmosphere and nice decoration if you're a fan of the movie " Forrest Gump."
