Cute little spot with a great atmosphere. We started with Calamaretti, Burrata con Pesto and complimentary warm bread with oil, Chilli and garlic to dip which were definitely a crowd pleaser. Leaving us very excited to try our pasta dishes. First out was the Spaghetti Nonna Malvina and the Rigatoni alla Bolognese which looked great and then came the Ravioli Al Funghi which looked like slush on a plate but was willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. All pastes were served unusually hot, so hot we had to leave it sit before we could even eat it, to avoid burning our mouth, leaving me to believe it was heated in a microwave. The Ravioli was unevenly cooked with some soft and some hard pieces which is consistent to being heated in a microwave, the sauce was runny and had no body to it, both the Rigatoni Bolognese and the Spaghetti Nonna Malvina was very oily and had an acidic taste and the meatballs were tough. Very disappointed after such a good start.

This is hands down the best Italian food I’ve had in the United States. They could spit on me when I walk in and I’d still go there. They could blast an air horn directly into my ear every time I take a bite, and I’d still recommend the place. Thankfully though, the service is great.

The scenery was beautiful. Enough for your eyes to look around and explore. We ordered 2 different types of pasta mine was spinach ravioli with stuffed ricotta and topped with fresh marinara sauce. The flavor was out of this world. I will definitely come back and try other dishes. Top notched service. Only waited like 10 minutes to get in

Tasting this pizza was like taking a trip to Florence, Italy, right in my own city. It was hands down the best pizza I've had outside of Italy! The atmosphere was enchanting and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. While the restaurant can get quite busy, especially on weekends, the wait is worth every moment. To pass the time, I recommend asking to stand at the bar and treat yourself to a drink. The bartenders are more than happy to serve you and keep you company while you wait. The drink to try? The Italian Old Fashioned, of course. I promise, you won't regret it. From the delicious food to the warm atmosphere and friendly staff, this restaurant is truly a gem.

Famiglia! I love this space, and it's truly like stepping into a spice of Italy. Many of the famiglia speak Italian with one another when ordering and communicating. Italian ambiance at its finest, and the background music is one of a kind. The pizza is the best around; watching the family working to create the masterpiece, is like watching a silent ballet. The wood fire pit for pizzas, only adds to the stellar ambiance, I have to say it's pretty meditative to watch. Homemade pasta is my favorite and you can taste the authenticity. So grateful they're in my community, make reservations if you're planning on visiting for the weekend. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. My go-too for all things Italian, you'll leave elevated and inspired.

Excellent first time experience. The food is delicious, love the ambiance and service was amazing., The cypress salad was refreshing and the fried mozzarella was surprisingly light. The pasta had a garlic butter sauce with sausage, pancetta and arugula.

One of the best Italian spots in Long Beach. Second time here, first time was a long time ago though. There wasn’t a table available ready quickly for my boyfriend and I, and we didn’t want to wait so they seated us at the bar within minutes and that was perfect! At the bar there is a tv showing a city of Rome. The bartender was very friendly and she made us delicious espresso martinis. We both ordered a ravioli dish, equally divine. Their bread they serve with the herb olive oil is is also so so tasty.

Absolutely magnificent Italian cuisine. Enjoyable and flavorful dishes. I'm not too fond of our table service, I know it could of been much better.

La Parolaccia Osteria is an Italian gem! The decor transported me through time and space to the old world. The menu is loaded with Roman classics that have me dreaming about my next visit already. Tonight I had the special of the day, the Lamb Shank with Risotto, thanks to Marco's recommendation (our server). It was amazing! The lamb was tender and beautifully prepared. For the full Italian experience, I ordered a Negroni as well - an Italian cocktail original. So good! When in Rome, do as the Romans do.

Ordered a Caesar salad and the Sofia Pizza. Both dishes were fantastic and appropriately priced for the quality. Service was excellent. We were immediately sat at a table for two on Friday at 7p and the overall experience was wonderful. Definitely a must try for Italian cuisine in Long Beach

This place is well worth the wait. The best Italian/Roman I have had in Southern California, and even better than some places I’ve been to in Rome! The lobster ravioli was out of this world as was the pizza crust - so fluffy & light. The biggest highlight for me was the chocolate cake omg it was so good. The tiramisu (not pictured) was lovely as well but you gotta try the chocolate cake!

My boyfriend, my best friend, and I absolutely love this place! The ambiance is quite intimate and the food is made with quality and love. For some reason, we always get Marco as our waiter and he’s always so skilled. On many occasions, we’ve overheard Italian people come in and talk with the staff in Italian and you can really tell that it’s a real local, authentic place. The pizza is thin and usually comes out quick, the sauce always has great consistency, enjoyable mouth feel. My personal favorite that I must always get is the paparadelle e burrata (with braised short rib and saffron cream sauce). The pasta is fresh and the texture tells you it was hand made; soft, but still held its structure. The cream sauce is subtle, but you can not get enough of it! A true culinary experience, beautiful food and beautiful people!

I found this place through google and was drawn to it by the 4.7 rations. I had the Bomboni con Salsiccia e Tartufo......Rigatoni, crumbled sausage, pancetta, arugula in a butter garlic sauce with pecorino cheese, black pepper and black truffle…. I wanted a creme based sauce that was not Alfredo and this did not disappoint. Noodles was cooked to perfection and the quantity of sausage was good! I’ll Definitely that’s this dish again. Service was great, street parking and the restaurant is very quaint. I got the sense of intimate family establishment.

There are not enough superlatives to describe the dining experience at this restaurant. Our waiter was very attentive to our needs, the food was cooked to perfection, and the atmosphere was pure Italy. From the rosemary foccacia bred to the bread pudding, all was a delight. The owner and chef came to visit us at our table and was charming and a delight.

Love this place! Lots of seating, warm environment, everything on the menu is delicious, and the staff is always friendly. Street parking, so it may take a few laps.

Well deserved 10/10 from me. Had my birthday dinner here, with total of 11 people in our party. Austin took care of our table and he was incredible, along with all the staff who were extremely attentive the entire night. My group really enjoyed the calamari and focaccia as appetizers. I enjoyed the pappardelle with the oxtail ragu. My party was very pleased with all the dishes they ordered. Our dinner ended with the staff singing happy birthday. A truly pleasant experience here.

Wow! Food was amazing! Great great pizza and loved eating outdoors. All the food was amazing and I would definitely recommend for a family dinner or a friends night out. We found parking down the street and the customer service was great.

We bring all of our friends here to eat because we love this place! We always get the same server and he is great. The pizza has always been amazing and we never had anything bad here. My husband is a chef so we don’t eat out much. This is 1 of the few!

This place was absolutely delicious! I had the calamari app and the lobster ravioli, to die for! My boyfriend had the bruschetta and the gnocchi with spicy sauce, could be wrong on which, but he really liked it. For dessert we had the pistachio cheesecake which was delicious. Definitely worth the wait, which couldn’t have been more than 30ish minutes on busy Saturday night.

The food was absolutely amazing I had the Cacio Pepe and I give it 5 stars... Everyone else at my table ate everything on their plates. I love the ambiance and the service was amazing. For a party of 15 I couldn't believe how quickly we got our food and all of the servers and staff working there were also pleasant

Best pizza I've had outside of Florence, Italy!! Everyone is so friendly and the food and atmosphere are amazing. Be prepared to wait, especially on a weekend, but it is well worth it. Ask to stand at the bar and enjoy a drink while you wait for a table and they are happy to accommodate! I recommend the Italian Old Fashioned 👌🏻

First time eating here and the food was great. I really like the ambiance and the staff was really friendly. We tried a variety of dishes and would highly recommend their fried calamari and ravioli. They serve Lavazza espresso and I highly recommend eating here.

Our group had courteous and attentive service. The food is a hit or miss. Our fried calamari was a little bit on the salty side. However, my Pappardelle e Burata was tasty! I recommend this dish.

Incredible food, cozy atmosphere, can’t wait til I come back! We had the amatriciana, gnocchi, and tiramisu, and everything was delicious! The best Italian food I’ve had in Long Beach! :)
