I have eaten here a few times, and I really like it. The wait time on the weekends (just like almost every other place) can be up to an hour and a half. Usually, their service is really good. Among other dishes and drinks, I love their bottomless mimosas, strong coffee, calzone, chile verde wet burrito, stuffed french toast, and steak and eggs breakfast. I'm not a fan of their vanilla latte and crepes. They do take a while to bring your food, but it is not a problem for me. We have a 13-week puppy, and we were able to have him with us in the patio. I wouldn't bring big dogs since the place is pretty small. Their parking is very limited but you can also park on the street.

I had the breakfast pastrami sandwich and it was absolutely delicious, I also recommend you to try their pancakes. I tried the cinnamon roll pancake as a side and my dear Lord it was the best pancake I’ve ever had. We were not able to place an order of bottomless mimosas because it was 2:28 and they close at 3, and their limit time to order ends at 2:30. I thought I was still on time but they denied that service 🤷🏻‍♀️ They offered us a bottle for $25 and we took that. The one thing we did not like, it took over 30 min for us to get our food we ordered it at about 2:34 and got it at 3:10 the place seem pretty empty for it to take that long, but at the end the food was delicious.

There’s usually a wait time here if about 25-45 min. so you want to be prepared to wait or try making a reservation if possible. A good restaurant to go to for both breakfast and lunch, I love their pancakes and the French toast was also really good!

I’m starting to loose faith in reading good reviews because this place was not what I was hoping it to be. We were sat fairly quickly but we had to wait 10 mins for our server to approach us and offer us drinks. I had seen him walk by us many times to attend to a party of 8 that he was taking care of but never said anything until 10 mins later. We finally got waters and I tried out their cafe latte and it tasted like regular coffee with regular milk poured in, so I guess they don’t have a milk frother thing? Idk what it’s called but I’m a coffee feign so I know it was just a regular cup of coffee. We waited for 45 mins to get our food. I tried the shrimp and grits and it was so overpowering, waaaay too much sauce was poured on. The hash browns had a sweetness to them and not very good either. They over cooked our eggs (we ordered over medium) and my daughters steak (which we ordered medium, and the steak was very bland and dry), she got the steak and eggs. To top it off we never got refills on our water and when I finally got more coffee, that I had to ask for, it was cold. Our server was very attentive to the party of 8 but didn’t pay me and my daughter any attention. I was server before and I know you’re expecting a good tip from a large group but you have to pay attention to all your tables and make sure they’re good. I doubt I’ll come back here.

The food is good but the customer service is really bad. This is my second time here and I got the same bad server from last time. I'm convinced that she just doesn't like African Americans. Before she took my order I asked her did the breakfast burrito have large onions and bell peppers inside. She replied no they're small it's the same size that's inside the home fries. So when the food came it was so many large bell peppers and onions I couldn't enjoy it. So i asked could they make it over she then told me she would need to see with her manager. I then told her i would just order something else completely different. She took my food then another person came back and put what i ordered in front of me. She then tried to take me food.

The best breakfast I’ve had in a while. Now while the wait may piss you off, I suggest you tap into your patience baby. The food was delicious and the price was decent. If you have the Yelp app I suggest you use it and add yourself the the waitlist. The interior was very diner like and crowded as good people know where to eat. I decided to try the items I saw and man they didn’t disappoint. I had banana pancakes, loaded hash browns, & biscuits and gravy. I had plans to drink that day so mind ya business on if it was all for me. Them hash-browns didn’t have no business being that damn good. That chipotle aioli was something else. Let’s get into the pancakes now y’all know when Jesus parted the Red Sea? That’s what it was like when I poured the syrup on the pancakes and cut em down the middle. I was so thankful yet dancing with a mouthful. Yup they were just that good. Now them biscuits & gravy were a hit. The green onion added the perfect crunch to the savory dish. Y’all know after this I had a nap & was ready to go. Didn’t have to eat for about 2 days lol I’m kidding. Check them out, the food is good and the wait is definitely worth it! 10/10 across the board!

My wife ordered the Original Loaded Hash Browns. It is amazingly tasty. I ordered Chiquis Cuban Feast Sandwich. It is also great. The Yuca fries are excellent.

Food is amazing! and the coffee is just as good! Only issue with the place is parking. It can be a little hard to find a place to park, but other than that the restaurant is great! I'd recommend "the lumberjack". Comes with eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon and some pancakes 🥞 They also sell alcohol in case that's what you are looking for.

Everything was amazing. Food 10/10, service from Maya was great. The manager Nicolette checked on our table to make sure we were good. This was a great experience.

Oh man, best breakfast I have had in a long time and next level hash browns (possibly the best ever, I asked for extra crispy). We also ordered the cinnamon roll pancakes and the Best Ever Banana Pancakes. They were perfectly cooked with spot on consistency and texture, flavors were off the charts. This is my new breakfast spot until I have tried all the pancakes, French toast and waffles. That will take some time because I only eat sugar one weekend a month, but I will come each day. The service was great, of course there was a wait, the food is amazing. Do you want to eat breakfast on the weekend at a place that doesn’t have a wait? Parking was fine, you will find a spot somewhere. If you live in there area you should already know about this place. I drove about 6 miles to get there from the other side of town. It is worth an hour drive if you are coming from that far and want amazing fun breakfast. The cocktails are great too, my wife got “The Smurf” and it was delicious. Nice local beer selection, I had “Mischief Hoppy” from The Bruery in Placentia. We will be back very soon. Maybe tomorrow.

It's the perfect place for brunch. Nice environment, fast and nice service. Food was prepared in less than 10 minutes, and it was delicious. Servers are very young, and all of them are super professional and helpful. Julian and Arlene were friendly and helpful with the best attitude. They are a great asset to this restaurant team.

The service was good and fast. Everyone was helpful and sweet. They didn't rush us as we ate nor force the check on us. The food was yummy. The Crabcake Benedict tasted good but I wish the yoke was a little less fully cooked. The specialty pancake was fantastic and fluffy! They tasted better than they looked. It was such a cozy environment. I would definitely recommend it and would return again in the future

GO FOR THE HOMEMADE HORCHATA! We went on a Wednesday around 2pm and only two other tables had customers. *FYI: The Pan is Closed on Tuesdays and only open until 3pm the rest of the days of the week. We ordered the Short Rib Benedict, the Breakfast Burger, regular coffee and the Homemade Horchata. The winner, without a doubt was the Homemade Horchata!, it was Amazing, they should sell it by the gallon! The Breakfast Burger was made well with the “runny yolk” fried egg as it should be but the side of “House Potatoes”, they were the Star of that dish, I would order a bowl of them with a fried egg on top! The Short Rib Benedict fell short (no pun intended), for me taste was ok but texture was too mushy; corn cakes are soft, short rib was soft and small quantity, creamed corn also soft, poached eggs are also soft and sauce just made everything even mushier, this dish needs some texture and crunch for a better mouthfeel or maybe serve it with the crispy House Potatoes and crusty hearty toasted bread to dip in all the mush and that would add what is missing. Will comeback for the Horchata and maybe try other dishes.

I've had food from here but never dined. We went in for breakfast on Saturday. Very good attentive service and ambience was a typical brunch atmosphere. Table wait about 10-15mins. All good. After being seated, we had our coffee and tea. The potatoes were phenomenal, and also compliments to that pastrami egg sandwich. Delicious. The pancakes did not fail, tasty batter, soft and moist. Definitely a breakfast/brunch staple in Long Beach. Highly recommend. I will definitely be coming

Cute spot for a quick bite. Breat I rices for portions. The presentation is attractive. Taste was just OK. I wanted more of a BBQ smokey flavor on my pulled pork. The fries were a little salty for my taste. Had to send the Arnold Palmer back. Pretty sure both the lemonade and tea were sugar free.

I wanted a quick breakfast nearby to try. The staff were very nice and atmosphere was good. I ordered the waffle glazed sandwich and the lumberjack. Food was decent, not terrible but just didn't have a special insane taste imo. If I came again, I'd probably try a different item off the menu.

It was my first time at The Pan. For the most part, the food was good. I ordered Chicken & Waffles, and it was supposed to come with blackberry syrup, but it did not. Instead, it came with fresh berries of some type, but they didn't taste like blackberries... I just used regular syrup rather than ask our server about it, because she took a long time to check back with us.

The line of people standing around this place and the lack of parking are both signs of how darn good the food is here. Lots of creative choices for both breakfast and lunch. I don't believe they start serving lunch until 11 AM. I had a pretty basic breakfast that was excellent and tossed a couple specialty pancakes in with the order - they were scrumptious! The coffee was decent and the service was excellent! We will be back again when we are in the Long Beach area.

My favorite is the chicken and waffle and the shrimp and grits. Though the food is good, they have messed up a couple of times on my take out orders. So, If your ordering to pick up, please make sure your order is correct and it's exactly what you want.

!st time there. I was not impressed. The Hostess was good, long time for a table, but we sat at the bar. Our server, (Nicolete) was excellent. The coffee tasted old, but I doubt it, because they were very busy. I order the meat lovers omelet and was disappointed. By the time our food was served my plate was cold, from my potatoes to the omelet itself. Looking at the other reviews I just may have got them on an off day. I have no plans on going back soon.

It definitely looked great on the menu but the wait was completely unexpected. We signed in for a party of 5 and found out there were only 2 tables available for serving 5. Our wait was for 90 minutes. We left and received a call later on when we were seated at another restaurant after our meals were ordered.
