Seabirds is a gorgeous vegan restaurant. The staff and food are always incredible and the atmosphere of the restaurant is beautiful and calming. I would strongly recommend checking this place out if you’ve never been, are visiting the area, or just looking for something new. I bring lots of non-vegan friends here and they love it. I have yet to try something off of the menu I don’t like and they have lots of shareable food for the table. A great place for meeting up with friends or a special occasion. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating with a clean bathroom. Parking can be a bit tricky, but you’ll be fine if you don’t mind a short walk.

This is a vegetarian restaurant. I’m not a vegetarian and I did not want to come here, but so glad we did. Everyone loved their food. I’ve never heard of 90% of their menu items, so I tried the Beer Battered Avocado Taco and the Grilled Mushroom Taco. I should have gotten two more of each. My friends said the BBQ Burger was also good. So if you’re not a vegetarian, or are, and you’re hungry, COME EAT HERE!! Great staff, clean establishment and great experience. Highly recommended!!! 5++ Drinks here are great also!!

First time eating here. But I think I've found a fav vegan place! I ordered two deep fried avocado tacos, and oh my gosh, sooooo good. Avocados were fried to perfection so they had a nice crunch and were nice and hot....with a creamy sauce. Which at first I was skeptical about hot avocado... but yum! Also had the canned cold brew coffee (over ice) which was delicious as well. It had hints of blueberry and chocolate...ugh...so good... The restaurant was clean and had cute set up. Staff were friendly and helpful. 10 out of 10, definitely recommend.

What a gem of a place. Portions were generous, food was delicious and great menu options. Jackfruit nachos-yum! Purple taquitos- would definitely get again Tomato soup- loved the way it was made with coconut milk, mmm Service was good and street parking was available.

One of my favorite neighborhood eateries. I've been eating here for 5 years on and off. Service has always been helpful and friendly without exception. Enjoy pretty much everything on their menu and they're very accommodating with substitutions. First visited their Costa Mesa location and was so delighted when this location opened up because I loved their tacos. At the time it was one of the few vegan restaurants. The quality of this place has been consistently good or great and I consider it a local gem.

Playmeite’s back! This time went to one of my go to spots in Long Beach. Plates are fairly priced for vegan food, and a good vibe. There’s outdoor and indoor seating as well. Staff is also super happy and great 😌. I appreciate that to top off some great food. I had some chickpea masala soup, purple potato taquito, and a mushroom taco. They also serve bowls if you don’t want anything fried. And types of salads. Or burgers etc. but in general just a nice little variety! Check out my video and photos. ☺️😇 Tasty, flavorful. There’s unique bomb vegan desserts but I didn’t get any tonight. My friend did a vegan grilled cheese with tomato soup. She loved it! Street parking. I appreciated getting lucky near the front. But def can be a slight mission with all other businesses around. Until soon my beautiful friends.

Great vegetable & fruit quality. So many yummy flavors. Definitely coming back to try other things on their menu. Excellent customer service, love the genuine attention & willingness to help. If you are in the Long Beach area and feel like vegan food then Seabirds Kitchen should be at the top of your list. We didn't have a lot of time but the service was quick and friendly and the food was excellent! We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The vibe is casual. The food is sustainable, plant based and delicious. I’ve been eating their food since they were a little food truck in a parking lot. Definitely eat here. Today I had brunch and had the Chipotle Florentine. Wow. Really good flavors.

Best food ever! Sunday around 6pm was not busy surprisingly. Food was beyond delicious. Service was great too! I would highly recommend the burrito since they serve it all day. For dessert I got the churro waffle and a cold brew for the road back to Fullerton.

Taquitos, fried avocado taco, mushroom taco, and churro waffles were the big hits, but all of the food was delicious. LOVE this place… will definitely return

First rated food and great customer service. Strongly recommend the place. We visited there for lunch. The customer service was really nice and professional. It took a little bit time to get our food however it worth the wait. Their zippy fries were absolutely delicious and I strongly recommend it. Their Brussels sprouts were mouthwatering. Overall a great food.

Embarking on our dining experience at Seabirds Kitchen, my dining partner and I were immediately embraced by a warm atmosphere and attentive staff. Before we delved into our meal, I started with a kimchi juice shot, a zesty appetizer that invigorated the senses and prepared my palate for the flavors to come. Our entrees were a parade of creativity and flavor. The grilled mushroom tacos were a delight, perfectly cooked and seasoned. Their earthy flavors paired well with the vibrant garnishes. The kimchi tacos were an adventurous fusion of Korean and Mexican flavors that excited the palate. The beet burger was a standout, a satisfying and hearty dish that showed off the innovative possibilities of vegan dining. To top off the evening, we indulged in a Chaffle, a waffle-like dessert that was the perfect balance of sweetness and texture, a delightful end to a wonderful Seabirds Kitchen provided us with a memorable dining experience. I was in need of a quick vegan lunch and Seabirds Kitchen did that. I had 1 each of the tacos and they were delicious, especially the avocado and mushroom. The kimchi taco was interesting, it was cold so it didn’t really work for me. But overall, it was really good and it had lots of options too!

Great food and wonderful service! This is my first time to Seabirds' Long Beach Beach and it was great. My wife and I and our pup sat on the outside dog friendly patio and were immediately greeted by a friendly server. She took our order for drinks abs apps and even offered our pup a bowl of water. The food was delicious and came out promptly which was perfect as we were heading to a work event after our meal. We ordered the purple taquitos, beet burger and Caesar salad. All of which was delicious! We had great service and food throughout it and definitely will be back!

Pretty phenomenal vegan restaurant! Service: 10/10 The employees are super sweet, on top of everything and knowledgeable of the menu. I couldn’t ask for anything more! They provide it all! Ambience: 10/10 Super clean and full of fun art and plants! It’s probably the cleanest and highest vibrational restaurant I’ve ever sat in. Food: 8/10 I got the kimchi shot (wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be, coffee and the bibimbap dish. Then I finished with a glass of their Cabernet! I thought I would get a smaller portion that I did with the bibimbap, but I came in an American sized portion for sure! I was pretty good, but I can’t say it’s the best vegan food I’ve ever had, but definitely high up there! I wish they had chopsticks but that’s just me and my preference (did not affect the way I rated the food at all). It was just definitely missing something that would elevate the dish, I wish I could say what but I can’t quite put my taste buds on it. Overall this is an amazing restaurant that everyone should try out, even if your not vegan. So far it’s probably in the top 5 vegan spots I would recommend to loved ones. I do wish they had public Wi-Fi because I would come here and study for sure if they did.

This place has great food, friendly staff and the atmosphere is amazing! My husband tried a hamburger and he said the portion is huge. For me tacos and I really enjoyed. Also the blueberry lemonade is delicious. My daughter got to go bibimbap and she loved it. Definitely I will come back.

Hands down the BEST grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had. It makes you wonder how on earth can they make this taste like the real thing. Lol. The beer battered avocado taco was also delish. Lastly, their chocolate chip cookie blew my mind as well, so I had to order a second one for the road. Lol. I can't wait to go back to try everything else on their menu.

What a tremendous plant-based gem of a restaurant! Highly recommend one of each taco, the Brussels sprouts, the passion fruit daiquiri and the golden monkey on tap! AMAZING service to boot! Kenny is superb!

This Vegan restaurant was a nice find in Long Beach downtown area. Being vegetarian, finding these kind of restaurants is a piece of mind with lot of food options. They had both indoor and outdoor seating. Service was fast. Food was fresh, tasty and healthy preperation too.Beetroot burger is a must try here. I felt their quantities were very less and burger size was small too. It confuses people when ordering.

Friendly, chill, and hip little restaurant. I get purple taquitos, they are perfectly crunchy and melty and the dipping sauce is just the right amount of spicy. :) I used to get the pasta dish that was amazing, but they stopped making it. :( The staff is always kind and can give good recommendations. Great food, although pricey. They have a rewards program that is actually decent, but still expensive in the mean time. There are a few outdoor tables, but almost all employees don't wear masks anymore.

Always exciting visiting one of the Seabirds locations for lunch and not having to worry about a vegan menu. Everything is always so fresh & flavorful and they have the friendliest staff. More things to try from the menu and we look forward to coming back!

There's just about nothing more thrilling, as a vegetarian than eating a restaurant where you can eat every single thing on the menu. No questions asked! That's one of the reasons we tried out Seabirds in Long Beach ahead of attending a nearby show one night. All the staff were super friendly and we were seated quickly on a Saturday night. We're short people and we were seated at a high-top table and I had nothing to put my feet on so they just sort of dangled there wantingly throughout the meal. I think we would have been more comfortable at one of their regular-sized tables but time was limited so we couldn't wait for one to be available. We had a few different things including the natural cut fries and Purple Taquitos (which were fantastic!) Plus "Burnt Brussels" which had a nice burned flavor to them but in terms of overall brussels texture were definitely overcooked for our tastes. My wife and I both started with bowls of Corn Chowder. This was a tasty and hearty soup on its own terms, but on the terms of wanting it to be "Corn Chowder" it missed the mark for us. It was completely pureed so we didn't get the kind of chunky texture with potatoes and corn that one would typically get out of a "chowder." Plus there wasn't that much of a corn flavor to it. It tasted good, again on its own terms, but it wasn't really corn chowder perse. Our fourteen year old who is notoriously picky and not so adventurous when it comes to food had a kimchi taco. He wanted to sub tofu for the jackfruit but the kitchen couldn't do it...BUT he ended up loving it as is so much that he ordered another. That's a win for him! We'd come back and try more as who doesn't love a place where everything can be eaten!

This was my first time here. We came with friends for lunch. You don't have to be vegan to enjoy the meals. I'm not vegan but I love vegan food.Ordered tacos, the mashroom tacos and kimchi were delicious 😋the staff is very friendly and welcoming.

The Bibimbap Bowl was delightful & flavorful. The beets meet me was average but well balanced & fresh. The highlight for sure was the housemade gochujang sauce, perfectly spiced. Service was exceptional as well.

Our server was absolutely delightful! They have kombucha on tap, my first time trying. The strawberry basil was yummy and not overpowering for a first taste.... and the fried 🥑 tacos were bomb! Some of the best burnt brussel sprouts I've ever had! No complaints!

I'm disappointed that I have to write this review. Until November of last year, I’d order from Seabirds Kitchen a couple times a month. Occasionally, I would dine-in when hosting friends from out of town. I loved the food because of its inventive approach to plant-based meals. Everything tasted as good as it looked. The last time I ordered takeout from Seabirds Kitchen, I found a piece of glass while eating a salad. I called the restaurant that evening to report the incident. An employee told me to call the next day when a manager was present. I followed up as directed to resolve the situation. I learned that a dish had broken while preparing the food. I was told I’d receive a refund and a credit for a future meal after emailing order information and a picture of the glass. I received the refund within a week of speaking to a manager but haven’t received an update about the credit. I would love to give Seabirds another chance but don’t plan to until the situation is resolved.
