Their food is incredible! So simple, yet VERY complex. You can taste each and every layer of flavor and none of it was over-seasoned. Perfectly cooked. I had the Goat Cheese Chicken with penne pasta, roasted veggies, smoked mozzarella and a spicy white wine sauce. Delicious! Service was attentive and friendly. The patio is covered, so there is a nice breeze. And their bread .... Oh their bread! The ambiance is perfect for a date night or a family dinner. We will be back!

I miss this place!!! Please reopen, I am craving their yummy food, been going there for decades. Does anyone know the recipe for their salad dressing and the fettuccine tetrazzini?

Went with a friend who knew the owner. Such a warm inviting low key romantic place. Sure Italian food but you'll find other surprises on the menu. Mainly covered patio dining, framed with garden highlights bordering. They have an excellent wine selection. There is also a tasting night weekly. The service could not have been nicer or more accommodating. My friend had a lovely lentel soup to start that had a pinch of a curry like flavor that was quite palatable. I had a house dinner salad, perfect clean dry greens chilled plate dressed just enough in a tangy house. I had the special slightly spicy sausage in a lively red sauce bursting with flavor. Linguine done al dente with just enough sauce to hold it together. Beautiful crusty bread with fluffy insides to butter. Partisan cheese and pepper until you say stop please. A hybrid of a place in that the dress in business casual to full jacket if the diner wishes and it all fits. We showed in casual after visiting the local aquarium in Long Beach marina proper and blended fine in the main dining area. A special meal with a special friend. Oh, and save a spot for dessert. The tiramisu we shared was so fresh and did not skimp on coffee liqueur and whipped cream. I'd swear they have someone's grandmom cranking out goodness. That is a roundabout way to say thank you to the chef for a truly wonderful meal. A relaxing dining experience and mini vacation all rolled up in one.

The food here is outstanding! Dishes are made to order by a chef in the kitchen. This place has been here for over 30 years, and the food has been consistently great. You won't be disappointed.

When I first saw this place I thought This place looks really nice from the inside . But when it came to the most important thing...THE FOOD. It was horrible the pasta was greasy and No Flavor .The salt &pepper I used did not help at all. And the check it was $55 +tips for 2 plates of flavorless pasta and 2 cups of water. Definitely my 1st and last time here ever! (Oh the pic below it's of my unfinished plate)

Very fast service. We tried the minestrone soup, spicy eggplant and the gnocchi. The souo and spicy eggplant were delicious!
