The food tasted great (I would have enjoyed the food much better if I hadn't witnessed this incident). -3⭐ for the way Leah yelled at the kitchen staff. Belittle the kitchen staff for chicken strips. And claiming she felt threatened by slamming of plates and kitchen utensils is ridiculous. I hope management is able to speak to her about the manner of treating other fellow workers.

I hadn’t been here in like over 30 years…happened to be in the area and wanted a delicious breakfast great joy to walk into a whole renovated Polly’s location…seriously my coworker and I would stop by for her pregnancy cravings Banana strawberry pie …Oh boy that pie is really something! Didn’t have it though because I wanted French toast…staff was very polite and courteous I will definitely come here again❤️to enjoy a slice of many delicious pies to choose from and some delicious coffee ❤️🌻their menus have changed there’s lots more to choose from and breakfast stops around 2pm plenty of parking on street and in back of restaurant🌻

Old school diner atmosphere with amazing food. The pictures didn’t look great but the meal was delicious and felt homemade. Shoe string fries were crispy, burger was great, pasta was great. The ranch is a must try, it was definitely a house ranch rather than a pre bottled sauce and it was phenomenal. Good menu selection, lots of different pies, and our server was a very nice young man. It was super quiet, not very busy for a week night, and it was super cheap.

If you haven't tried Pollys pies 😋 you must! There are different locations. Our visit was at the Long Beach location off of Atlantic. We are returning customers. So far we've had breakfast and burgers Deeeeelicious! The pancakes are fluffy and flavorful. The sides are a good portion. As for the burgers great quality beef and the buns are fluffy. Let's talk PIE...there are a variety of pies to choose from. So far my favorites are the Apple Crumb, Banberry & chocolate pie. You can indulge on a slice or a whole pie to-go. There are other baked goods that are oh so tasty packed and ready to-go. Chocolate chip cookies, oatmeal cookies, cinnamon buns & more. Pay them a visit and see what becomes your favorite 3.14 ♡

Polly's Pies were excellent. The pies were as good as Bakers Square in the Midwest, if not better. The waitress (Danna) was very good, conscious and could remember our multiple orders of different pies without writing them down. We highly recommend you try them out. This was our first visit. Expect to be back very soon.

I ordered the avocado toast topped with 2 eggs. When it arrived you couldn't even see the avocado... it was completely hidden by the eggs as if they just spread a little bit of it on like butter. Avocado was certainly not the highlight of the meal as it should be. I asked for more and was given the tiniest little bit... still not enough to consider it a true avocado toast, IMO. But I didn't want to make a stink. I also ordered the eggs over medium. They were actually over easy on a grill that was too hot because they came out brown, but the yolk was overly runny with some of the white still runny. I ordered a side of hash browns well done/crispy. They were not made to order, so I asked for them crispy AGAIN. The replacement didn't meet my definition of crispy, but it was better than the barely browned ones that originally arrived. I was starving, so again, I didn't make a fuss. They offer bottomless mimosas, so I ordered that and coffee to drink. Coffee was refreshed regularly, and mimosas were refilled when empty, but I was warned after my second one that they limit the "bottomless" to 4 per hour. 🤔😳 which is LITERALLY just two glasses because they were mostly OJ. Service was friendly and efficient, and food was served quickly even though they were pretty busy on a Sunday morning. Despite being a bit disappointed with the food preparation, I would definitely try it again... hoping the next time they had a more qualified or experienced cook. Sorry for the late pictures...I was so hungry I started eating before remembering to take pictures for my review. 🤣

Service was slow and food came out cold. And at different times. The hash browns were nice and the pumpkin pancakes were good. If I go back, I’ll definitely try the pies.

Being a big fan of pie, I was super excited to come across Polly's Pies! I love a good pie and when I saw Polly’s Pie, I had high expectations. With the word pie in the title of the restaurant, I knew whatever pie I went for was going to be amazing. But unfortunately, I was very disappointed. When I saw their pie menu, I immediately went for the banana cream pie. I'm a HUGE banana cream pie fan. It is my all-time favorite. I ended up buying a slice to go. I immediately went in for a bite, but yikes! It was not good at all. The bananas weren't fresh, they were already all slimy and tasted off. The filling was off and the crust was very soggy. I was so sad!! I couldn't even finish it, it was just all a mess. I've had my fair share of banana cream pie and the slice just tasted expired. I'm afraid to go back to try a different flavor pie.

I dont really write reviews of places as it is not worth my time but with what happened today it really rubbed me the wrong way. The parking is horrible as always but when I went inside I saw that there were a couple of tables that could have been cleaned to seat me and my partner, but while waiting we weren't acknowledged for over 15 minutes. I went to the front of the waiting area where someone is meant to be so they can inform you of the wait time and was just looked at until I decided I would sit down until someone would come over. No one spoke to us to inform us if there was a wait or not but the servers did see us and I am 6'2 so I know I was seen. Another couple came inside with their dog and one sat in the patio area while having their partner wait at the front to be seated, but they were noticed and the server went around us and another party that was waiting and sat them first. Everything was just disorganized with no one speaking to those waiting to be seated and no one at the cash registers where you could order food to go or some of their backed goods. Been going here for many years since I was a child and it had been awhile since I went so I wanted to go with my partner and I will not be going back. Horrible way to start off the day.

All these years I've been going here to dine in no problem but today I decide to order take out. I went in and placed a Togo order waited patiently as they were extremely backed up with orders. Get home with my 2 breakfast meals I ordered only for items to be missing muffin and slice of pie I do not recommend you order take out food is thrown together and very small portioned like a kids meal the picture is the side of bacon I paid 6.05 for totally disappointed I drove all the way back there they gave me the missing items and a free slice of pie 😒 a slice of pie really what about these little mini kids meal looking breakfast I just ordered and this thin bacon totally disappointed and will never order take out I will dine in if I ever go back. Update: just ate my food and it was not good country potatoes were not done only thing good was the eggs.

Service slow but the waitress was very friendly. Food came quick and it tasted ok. Definitely not 5 star food. Quite big portions for the pasta. Unfortunately didn’t get any pie but I’m assuming that’s what they’re most known for.

I had the pastrami sandwich which is more like a deli sandwich not like one from a drive in. This is the 3rd time I've had it and it is always excellent. I also had the coconut cream pie. Every pie I've had here has been very good. We buy our pies here for the holidays if I don't have time to make them. During the holidays try the cinnamon whipped cream.

They've upgraded their look and its very nice. I had the chicken pie dinner, my sister the fried chicken and my hubby the garlic aioli. Food was good but 4 stars because hubby didn't enjoy his garlic aioli turkey sandwich, he said it lacked taste. Overall, pretty good!

Good food and portion sizes. Good selection and serve breakfast all day long. Pies are still tasty, and the atmosphere is super friendly.

Good as expected. Kitchen didn't follow our request on ingredients. But, an easy fix. Menu needs more description of what items go on the sandwiches. If cheese is an ingredient, they should ask WHAT cheese we want, especially since it is NOT listed on the soup and sandwich combo. Also, beware. They do not accept cash when you check out at the counter. They only take cards.
