I have driven past this pizza place many times but my sister recently moved near here and now this will be her local pizza stop. So he went in to try it and we ordered the family special. It came with a pizza, a pasta and a salad with garlic bread. This is the best pizza I've had in a while. When we got started with our salad we knew we were in for a treat because the mozzarella on the salad was so good. We knew the pizza was going to have a good mozzarella. The salad dressing must be made in house and it was so delicious, especially if you love oregano like I do. The pizza was so cheesy with that good cheese and the pepperonis were layered under the cheese and they did not skimp on pepperonis. There was a lot. My sister ordered olives on her half and it was just a solid good pizza. We upgraded our pasta to fettuccine alfredo which was nice and thick. I ordered a meatball and a sausage on the side. Those were very tasty. If I go to her pad at lunch I'd be happy to get a meatball or a sausage sandwich over here. The garlic bread was not your typical garlic bread. It had a nice garlic sauce coating the top and the bread was light and delicious. I'm sure this is going to be the local pizza spot or her when we go over to her pad

We went to eat here this past Friday night as we drove home from OC Fair. The pasta was fresh and delicious. The minestrone soup was the best I've ever had and this is not an exaggeration. You can tell it was made from fresh ingredients and not out of a can. The Cesar salad was good. The waitress was fast, attentive and the food was hot.

There were 7 of us that stopped in for dinner. We were seated within ten minutes. The staff was friendly and prompt. Our food came out hot and was very good. Our waitress kept checking on us and kept all our drinks filled and the table cleared. We would eat here again. The parking can be difficult though.

This is the first time my husband and I are here. I can't believe we never knew about this place! I chose the lasagna, husband had a sandwich. The lasagna blew me away it was so good! The sauce was not too "tomatoey" and had just the right amount of spices. The portions are very large, my husband and I could only eat HALF of our lunch. The prices are very fair and the best part of this review is I have leftovers for dinner! The owner spoke with us and give us a little history about the restaurant. Rich in history, we found her story very enlightening. For sure, we will be back!

I went to the original location by Disneyland all the time in late 60s. We loved the place;😠 a bunch of us teenagers would go on Friday nights. We loved the pizza and most of all the Italian magazine pages used for wallpaper you could write on with magic marker's or felt tip pens and leave your mark. After they got to full of writings they would just add more clean pages. I don't see that in any pics of either location now? Please bring it back. I also loved the booth tables hanging with chains on the front of the booth made it real easy to get in and out the booth. Cant wait to go again after 55 years. Looking forward to return.

Have ordered here many times for the pizza and pastas (love the pizza, but pasta is hit or miss). Incredibly dissatisfied with the lasagna. It was like a cheese burrito with a sprinkle of meat covered in tomato sauce.

Update 2023: needed pizza on the way home from a football game so we ordered here. It’s been 3 years and I was due! Hit the meat lovers and ham w/ pineapple. I actually like the ham pizza better. Meat lovers had sooooo much sausage it was like a brick. It’s so good, it’s just not close enough to go here often. Still friendly staff and great flavor! Yummy!! 2020: I’ve been wanting my boys to try this pizza for about 8 years now. My neighbors gave a slice back then and it was delicious. We drove past Marri’s yesterday and it reminded me! I ordered a medium bbq chicken pizza, medium meat lovers and small Marri’s special. Let’s just say we are a large portion family of 4. There’s still 1 1/2 pizzas left. It is so filling and delicious. Not much difference between meat lovers and Marri’s special. Stick with the meat lovers. Only reason for a 4 star and not a 5 star is that they don’t take American Express cards.

I have to say that I love the quality of the food and the ingredients at this restaurant. I also wanna say a special shout out and thank you to Tanya, who goes out of her way to give the best service possible and make sure that you are happy with your meal. I recommend asking for Tanya when you were dining at Marris!

Listen. The food is good. Better than average and constantly satisfying. My beef is the service. Almost always they don’t give utensils, they are slow, and they are semi surprised when you actually slow up to grab your pick up order. Long story short: if you’re patient with them you will be very satisfied. If you expect good service, you’ll be very sad.

Came here for the first time based on the reviews and was really disappointed. Got the asparagus and artichoke salad.. i don't recommend at all. I didn't finish my plate and let the rest get thrown out. Waited a LONG time for our pizza (all the other tables in our section got their meals before us even though they ordered after) and it was akin to a chain pizza. The toppings separated, the cheese was excessive, and the crust tasted like bland bread. I 100% would never come back or recommend it

This is my favorite restaurant. I've been going there since 1973. When my family gets together to celebrate its always on the list. they want the great food and family atmosphere. Kathy makes me feel like my Italian grandma is cooking.

Authentic, HUGE portions, delicious food, and fun staff!!! Coming from NY it can be hard to find a pizzeria of east-coast quality. After years of living in Orange County, my search is over. Marri's is great, accommodating, friendly, and other than the lack of parking, a perfect place for lunch or dinner. Everyone who came to our table was very friendly and welcoming. The service was sooo good. I ordered a calzone and gnocchi and can't tell you which was better; the answer is both. If you're an east coast transplant or anyone who has always wanted to try NY-style, Marri's is a must!

This place is both a hidden gem and an institution. It’s so delicious and they make all their own dressings and you can tell they put that level of effort into all their food. The quality and taste is excellent. The only downside is the small parking lot, but it’s worth circling or just getting a to go order.

In town visiting some friends in the Long Beach area. We wanted Italian food and they recommended this place for take out. I was not disappointed. We ordered a meat lovers pizza, salad and bruchetta. Everything was ready when they said it would be for pick up, and tasted great. Looking for to my next visit to dine in. I hope your experience is a great as mine.

The best tasting pizza around are worth the drive. They're not stingy with the toppings and they load that pizza up with a lot of cheese. It has a flavor all its own that does not compare to any other place. A silver variety of pasta dishes sandwiches and pizza. It's all good you can't go wrong with whatever you order.
