So, I found this place in Google Maps, but was a bit worried about going, cause this is in Da Hood, for real. I was driving through crackheads blocking traffic on the way here. I have to say it was worth it. The best Thai food I have ever eaten! So when I saw their photos on Google Maps, I found none other than Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias comes to this place a lot. No wonder why, this place has amazing food. I ordered the Panang Chicken Curry and Beef Pad Tai, with Thai tea. It was a lot of food! I have added this place to my favorites, and I'll be coming back here for sure. The owner was a sweet heart, he said to spread the word that he needs customers as he's struggling.

STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING RIGHT NOW ‼️ & go order the most AMAZING Thai food you’ll have in your life (apart from straight from Thailand ofc lol)!!! 🥰 Tasty Food To Go is hands down the BEST Thai food spot in Long Beach and dear I say in all of Southern California! 💓 Tasty is the perfect name because it truly is TASTYYY!! To this day, no other Thai place compares to the favor of this restaurant! 😍 My go-to(s) are Pad See Ew (my personal fav), Pad Thai, Panang Curry, Beef Jerky, and obviously a Thai tea. Everything on their menu is chef’s kiss…just scrumptious.🤤 I can’t put into the words the out of this world favor you will experience, seriously. 😘 Not only is the food amazing, but their staff are always so KIND and attentive to your needs (plus the owner is so funny hehe). They truly have it all - food + great prices + stellar customer service = PERFECTION!! 🤩🥳 WOWWW!! We will be back again! Highly recommend, definitely telling all my family and friends about this excellent experience. 😊💖💕 *NOTE: This place is CASH ONLY 💸, so bring your spare bucks. Worth it, trust a fellow foodie!! *🌱🌱

I knew the food was gonna be good as soon as I saw the cooks in the kitchen. It was a group of grandmas and one grandpa in charge of peeling. So you know it was made with love. I got the fried chicken and chicken pad thai. The fried chicken was ok but the pad thai was great. The portion was alot bigger than I expected, it's more than enough for two people. I would absolutely recommend and will be back.

First timer tonight. We got chicken pad see ew and chicken pad thai, and a mango sticky rice. The staff was warm and friendly, and made suggestions for what items to try next. Everything was super delicious, with big portion sizes for the noodle dishes. The pad see ew was just the right amount of funky, and very savory and good. The noodles were beautifully chewy! The pad thai was also great; everything tasted fresh and authentic. The mango sticky rice had a rich deep flavor that I've never tasted in that dish before! We'll definitely be back again for more!

Visiting from San Diego and happy to have found this place for my husband’s birthday. Big portions, very flavorful, not greasy or salty. Loved the Drunken Noodles with all the vegetables (I’m a vegetarian) and the rest of the family loved the Panang Curry, Pineapple Fried Rice and Pad Thai. The gentleman at the register (owner?) was incredibly friendly and we had a lovely philosophical conversation while waiting for our order. Wishing this business many years of success.

Great Thai food, especially considering the price! Feels like you can get two meals out of the Pad Thai, generous servings. Not to mention the owner is such a great guy, he's hilarious. I'm telling all my friends about this place!

This is the best it gets next to Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos cuisine (having traveled to these countries my self) and the closest! Every time I visit SoCal, I make sure to go out if my way to get me some really good authentic pad Thai and beef salad (as shown in photos). I have not yet tried any of their other specialty dishes cause I never get tired of having the same thing here lol but I’m sure it’s super delicious, you can’t go wrong! High quality and fresh ingredients for a very good reasonable price for the amount of portions you get. Make sure to get a side order of egg rolls and Thai tea with your meal, super good and rich in flavor. It’s a hidden secret gem that’s definitely worth making the drive and finding a parking spot. Cash only and carry out but they do have a cute patio in the front where you can enjoy your meal.

I’ve had thai food from 3 other places this year & they don’t come close to Tasty Food To Go! So flavorful & reasonably priced for the portions you get. It’s challenging to pick a dish because everything is so yuuuum!!! Tofu Pad Thai (chose very spicy) is the best I’ve ever had: perfect taste & texture, just added some lime once I got home. My mum’s coconut soup tasted wonderful, the way the lemongrass & other flavors complement each other is such a joy!

I always get the Panang curry with no spice. It is so delicious. My family got COVID in the beginning on January, 2021 and we order curry for everyone and it save our lives. Thank you so much and I hope that your business will keep begin successful...🥘👍🤟

Great little place! ORDER “NO SPICE” if you tend to order mild at other places. I think I’m pretty spice tolerant but ordering “mild” on some dishes renders them occasionally inedible. I wouldn’t DARE ordering medium and I would be honored to shake the hand of someone who orders “hot.” “No spice” still has plenty of spice and flavor!

Pretty good pad see ew. I would say that the chicken had great flavor where other Thai restaurants lack in seasoning. I do feel like it was a little over powering on the garlic. If I’m not wrong the hint of black pepper added a nice touch. No issue with wait time. Limited parking.

Amazing pad Thai! The dish was wonderfully cook. Well balanced and with tons of flavour. Was spicier than I could handle. But it was so good, I kept eating through the sweet-sweet pain - it hurt so good.

One of the best food spots in Long Beach. This cool family owned spot consistently serves the tastiest food. I've had the Pad see ew, pad thai, the eggs rolls, all delicious. Best time to order is early in the day when they are less busy.

Moved to Long Beach a few months ago and been looking for a local go-to Thai place. We finally found it! We called in our order, it wasn’t ready when I arrived but that was okay because the staff that was there was so friendly, welcoming and engaging. She was awesome! The food was amazing; pad Thai, pineapple fried rice and Papaya Salad. Enough food for two days! I will be back. I want to try it all 🤣🔥

This *IS* some of the best Thai and Laotian food that you’ll find in SoCal. The service is usually always friendly, and while the place isn’t the most desirable looking, the food is absolutely excellent. This is more of a take out spot than it is a dine-in, however they do have some high-stool seating and some outdoor patio seating, but nothing really that aesthetically nice to sit and eat at. 100% will always recommend this place to others.

Definitely a little hole in the wall with some really great food. We had the curry, pad see ew and pineapple fried rice and I wish we ordered to go as well so we could've eaten it again later. 10/10 recommend
