A high point on Signal Hill, this small park affords sweeping views of the ocean, Long Beach, and the Los Angeles area. It also has exhibits and historical information about the oil industry that once thrived in the area. Parking is limited but free, mostly streetside. A nice place to stroll, sit on a bench, and just take in the view.

Great place to relax. The views from up here are amazing where you can see all of Long Beach all the way to LA. There's a typically a food truck there as well. The only challenge is parking. It can fill up rather quickly but the adjacent streets usually have open spaces but it might be a short walk away.

The top of Signal Hill has fabulous views of Long Beach to San Pedro. This overcast day was picture perfect and unusually brisk.

It's a nice little spot to look over Long Beach. Parking is a little limited but there's street parking too. The trails system is nice but remember this is a residential area so be respectful.

This Signal Hill, Hilltop Park is small but beautiful, you can park around the area and walk around too, you can see a beautiful view of Long Beach city and the sea as far as you can see. This place is special for me because this is were my husband proposed to me as the sunset was setting in 21 years ago. Our girls loved the view, specially the sunset.

A 'peak' existence, hard alee Long Beach airport. On a clear day, you can see Downtown LA and Long Beach. Catalina was visible today as a bonus. We also had a beautiful sunset, in addition to seeing snow on the mountains. The park itself is well maintained and clean. Staff does a great job with this park. Love it.

Absolutely love Hilltop Park! The natural beauty and serene atmosphere here are unparalleled. Whether you're into hiking or just want a scenic picnic spot, this place has it all. It's a must-visit for nature enthusiasts. Hilltop Park is a fantastic spot for families. The kids adore the playground, and the adults can unwind while taking in the stunning vistas. Plus, the park is clean, safe, and a great spot for a leisurely stroll. I can't get enough of Hilltop Park's sunsets! The panoramic view of the city bathed in the evening glow is pure magic. It's an ideal location for romantic dates or simply to enjoy some solitude in nature.

One and probably the nicest park in Signal Hill. Beautiful views of the ocean. You can also see downtown LA from the park as well the mountains in the distance. During winter time, you can see the snow caps of the mountains. When walking on the trail to the other side of the hill, you have nice views of Orange County. An ideal park to watch sunsets.

This is such a beautiful place to watch the sunset. I have to say it was pretty crowded for a Sunday evening and the parks kind of small but you can't beat the view of the harbor, ocean, mountains and Long Beach Airport on the other side. Then once the sunsets and the lights come on all over Southern California you still have beautiful pictures to take.

Nice little park on top of the hill. Nice view of Long Beach and downtown Los Angeles. There’s a small parking area in the park, can holds 3-4 cars only. But there are many street parking available around the neighborhood. Though you might have to walk for a bit. Lovely to watch sunset from here. There is public art as well, so you can learn about the history of Signal Hill and the Indigenous people of Long Beach/ Los Angeles.

A beautiful place for a sunrise or a sunset. Used to frequent this place when I lived in Long Beach. Great exercise if you want to hike to the top, and the view is the best for miles around. The city lights in every direction and the pacific ocean is something to marvel at. Usually a nice ice cream truck parked near by if you want a treat!

Great views of downtown Long Beach, and on clear days, Catalina and downtown LA. Plenty of food trucks and ice cream vendors. A panoramic walkway below beautiful homes. Great place to walk parking at Redondo and Hill.

A wonderful little park to see the sunset and great views of downtown Long Beach. Got there about an hour before sunset and there were plenty of great places to sit. Street parking is all that's available. While crowded we didn't have to walk too far. An ice cream truck was posted up, which was nice.

Good place with amazing views. Place is wheelchair accessible and 2 picnic tables with barbecue also has a good view to Los Angeles, Long Beach and Huntington areas. You should park in the street. Also there is a trail for walking or hiking. Dog are allowed.

Very, very popular spot with spectacular views day or night. Lots of picnic benches to choose from. Public restrooms are ok but are open park is pet friendly and it does tend to get busy. Side street parking is available but pay attention to the street signs for no parking hours. Any direction is a great view of the ports and city lights. Definitely recommend it!

Beautiful park on hill top from you can see whole of Long Beach area up till Long Beach Port. Beautiful views of sunset 🌇 from here. There are mobile vans serving snacks and beverages here. Parking is on the streets though....you have to wait sometimes for a Parking spot. Beautiful lawn, paved pathways landscaped here. Lots of people specially young couples 💑 hang around here. Tere is a program here called 'Bricks On The Hilltop' here where in you can carve your or your loved one's name or a message on a brick to be laid here for 150$. The money is used for development of the park and for events held here. Even you can see big merchant ships at Long Beach Port from here. A centre of attraction of Long Beach. We liked this place......👍🏻🙂🙂

Finally found a parking space in the front! Granted it's Sunday during NFL playoffs 😂 LOVE this little park. The views are amazing! It's quiet and safe. I love watching the little kids roll down the hill covered in grass. Great place for families & solo folks to enjoy the sunshine.

A great place to visit on a clear, cloudless day to see views of Catalina, Long Beach, Palos Verdes, downtown LA, the mountains, and the Hollywood sign.

Very nice park on top of Signal hill. Gets very crowded, so parking becomes a challenge. The real challenge is walking the hill! What a workout! Some nice hiking trails take you around the hill as well. Great views of Downtown Long Beach!

This park is located in the city of Signal Hill, it offers a nice place to contemplate the picturesque view of SoCal at night time. We came here on the blue moon night, so there was not many parking spots. The park is uphill which does not require lots of walking for good air. However, be careful when you park your car as police does drive around for red-zone tickets.

Hilltop Park is a beautiful place that overlooks the city. I took my daughters to watch the sunrise, and it was gorgeous. It can be a little cold considering that you're elevated, but a light sweater will work. It's a must-see!

Hilltop park is always a good time. Easy access to beautiful views of Long Beach and (on a clear day...) surrounding cities. Sometimes there is live music playing and a food truck. Great activity for the evening of you're looking for something free to do!

Nice hilltop park overseeing Long Beach, San Pedro, the port and LA. I love coming up here to sun gaze at sun set. Parking fills up quick and the restrooms aren’t that clean. There’s also a section to workout and there are also nice trails.

Located at the highest point of Signal Hill, Hilltop Park is one of the best places to enjoy the beautiful LA/SoCal sunset. You can see the DTLA skyline (on a good day) and the ever busy Long Beach Pier. There are also telescopes which you can use for a quarter. Finding a parking spot may be a chore but the view is worth the extra patience. Also, they have an ice cream truck parked close by.

Parking was a little difficult to find but we got there 30 min before sunset. It's a really nice view.

Great view, great way to just get away and enjoy a beautiful view with someone or by yourself. It's worth it, take a cup of coffee , and blanket. Soak it all up.

A great place to go to look at the view in the surrounding area such as Long Beach and LA where you can see for miles. The night time view presents an awesome light scenes of the cities. The park is clean with many beautiful palm trees and other foliage. It's a great place to take picture and well.
