Took my dogs for their first time... and it was amazing!! Super clean! Everyone I met was so friendly and all the dogs were so well behaved, on AND off leash. My dogs were a little nervous, this being their first time.. but overall, it was awesome! I highly recommend this beach!!🥰

Perfect Place for your furry pal to enjoy!Met lots of friendly dogs. Restrooms are located closed to the parking lot . Not that much shade on the beach so I do recommend on putting on sunblock or bringing a umbrella. Water was ever so refreshing. Beach is moderately clean depending on the owners picking up after their dog. Beach isn’t exactly wheelchair accessible but that’s fine as long as your dog enjoyed it your good 😊

Such a chill & fun spot to take your dog. Plenty of pups to chase and wrestle with, and beautiful sunsets in the evening. Enjoy this special Long Beach place.

I went around 9am on a Saturday. It was fantastic. All the dogs were civilized and hysterically ran in packs that matched their size (I didn’t know this is something they did?!). There was plenty of parking—you do have to pay—I think it was 50 cents for every fifteen minutes. Pick a spot, punch in the number and pay with a card. It wouldn’t accept my quarters, though paying that way was an option. Either way, it was super easy. Pretty clean beach. Bathrooms weren’t too far but I didn’t use them to see what the inside was like. It was my dog’s first time on a beach, seeing any ocean, and being around tons of off-leash dogs, so she was massively overstimulated. It was a great experience though. Definitely recommend!

My mini pin had a wonderful time at the dog beach with other friendly pets. I enjoyed watching Brown feet playing with others breeds of dogs. Brown feet a Texas dog. He never seen so many dogs in his life. He had fun.

I love to take my dog to this beach! There were so many dogs and all of them were friendly. There’s a ton of space to run and play. There’s lots of parking too! I gave 4 stars because there was only one restroom open and it was filthy and clogged. Also, there was quite a bit of trash in the surrounding area. Still a very nice beach.

Let’s start with the positive points. It’s $1 per hr here which is way cheaper than 3.50 per hour at Huntingtion. A lot more diversity at this location when it comes to types of people. We have been here a couple times and never had a problem parking. It is a straight shot straight to the beach so if you’re not good at declining or going up a steep incline this is a Great Beach for you. The actual dog beach area doesn’t feel that big to me. I was able to walk from one end of the Rosie’s dog beach to the other Really fast. It also doesn’t feel like part of the beach that you hang out at in front of the water is that wide. So it feels like all the dogs and all the people are we closer together. If you love to interact with other dogs and people, this is a Great Beach because you’re really close to each other. I’m not a huge fan. If I had to take somebody to a Dog Beach. I honestly would choose Huntington but that’s just my preference. This could be great for the right person. I mean super cheap parking is always a plus. I had a lot of trouble walking all the way to the other side of the beach to see if that was a bathroom, so I never actually found the bathrooms. There were a few food trucks in the parking lot also.

Love coming here with my pup. He enjoys the water and also being able to play with the other dogs around him. It’s smaller compared to other dog beaches I’ve visited but I enjoy the atmosphere.

Lovely beach for people and dogs alike. The kids had a blast. Pretty big stretch of beach. Has restrooms and an outdoor shower. There is parking also, but it is a pay lot.

My two dogs love this beach! They enjoy it a lot more than the parks which have the wood chips on the ground for them to run around on. They quickly make friends had get all there energy out. Many people go here and I have never had a bad experience.

A nice stretch of beach where dogs are officially allowed, and also able to roam unleashed. Plenty of little amenities for dogs, like water fountains, rinsing showers and poo bags. And also plenty of bins to dump your dog's "gifts". Parking has a lot of spaces, and on Saturday we paid around couple of dollars per hour

Great time to spend some time at the beach. The water is meh. This place is dog friendly and many have their dogs off-leash. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, just know what you're getting yourself into. Great parking there at a rate of 50 cents per 15 minutes. It's It's slight increase, but you can circumvent it by parking on the street. I also charged my for fusion for 1 dollar there if you drive a hybrid.

What can be said about Rosie's Dog Beach? Look at the pure joy my dogs have on their faces to find that answer. Dogs run everywhere with not a care in the world, and the people are always so nice (exclude from some sourpusses here and there). The beach does have trash from time to time, but either they have a trash truck picking it up or the patrons of the beach do. I highly recommend taking your dog here, you will love it and so will they.

Love Rosie's dog beach. Have visited twice so far and the dogs have a blast. Much cleaner than Huntington dog beach and there are plenty of public restrooms. This beach is off leash and always has lots of dogs of all sizes for ours to interact with. There are lifeguards and plenty of space to bring chairs, towels and umbrellas for a good spot on the sand. Definitely recommended.

It’s so nice to have a designated area at the beach to take your pup. Note, there is no enclosure of any kind here, it is completely open. We arrived before noon on a Saturday and it was fairly busy but the lot was very large with plenty of parking. Definitely bring blankets or a tent if you’re staying a while because dogs are obviously doing their business all over the sand and you don’t want to lie in it. The dog owners seemed very kind and mindful.

My favorite dog beach around. Great spot to take your pup. Normally plenty of dogs for your furry friend to interact with and in my experience everyone is pretty responsible with their dogs. Clean beach. Free parking on the street or paid parking that isn't too expensive in the lot. Gets a bit hectic on holiday weekends though

I was very happy to find a dog friendly beach! There’s a pretty big parking lot too. My puppy loved her experience and dug plenty of holes, though she did not enjoy the water. It was a good human beach too! Good to enjoy. My only dislike that a lot of dogs are unleashed—and I don’t trust all dogs to be kind and well behaved. A lot of the dogs will come by to sniff you etc. Given I have a tiny little puppy right now, that made me a bit nervous. I wish I had brought a longer leash for my puppy to be able to run around a bit more.

Rosie’s dog beach is amazing! It’s not separated for small and big dogs but we have gone 3 times and had no problem! We have the greatest time every time we go. Well worth the drive!

My dogs first beach experience was here, and he loved it! There's so much space, a ton of other friendly dogs, and a handy dog wash station. Being your pup here for a fun filled day! Just don't forget a jacket for yourself bc it can get a bit chilly.

Awesome dog park with lots of open space for your four legged buddy to roam freely or just run wild. Most dogs were very friendly as their owner's were. Waste bag dispensers every where in case you forgot yours. Good parking, water for both human and dogs, play area for kids, bathrooms, bike rack, food trucks, and showers available for your convenience. Bring some chairs and a snack box to sit back enjoy your day at the beach with all your family members or meet some new friends.

Our 11-month-old Staffy/Pit mix is a chubby sweet angel 👼 and he has the best time with dogs he meets at Rosie’s. We’ve met a few peculiar pet parents, but for the most part, the human owners and the pups have been so kind! We will make the pilgrimage from Inglewood as often as we can to get our sweet boy to the beach 🏝️🐶♥️🐾

It’s always great to go there. If you have dogs, enjoy your time in Rosie’s Dog Beach. There are showers and toilets available. It’s clean and relaxing. Additionally, if you play beach volleyball, bring your ball as there are many volleyball nets overthere. Not too crowded and there are parking available with a fair price.

I really enjoyed my time here. Me and my husband brought my kids and our 3 month old puppy. All of them had so much fun all the people were friendly and so were the other dogs. For being a dog park it was pretty clean. Would definitely go back if we ever vacation over here again.

Convenient parking ($2 an hour). Convenient restrooms (beware of cleanliness). Plenty of beach space. Very breezy so bring a pop up over an umbrella. Fun watching the wind surfers. Lots of adorable dogs. We went on a Wednesday so I can't imagine how busy a weekend is.

Compared to Huntington Dog Beach, it's much easier to find parking and the beach itself is easily accessible. Parking meters were easy to find. It was pretty clean and there were plenty of puppy poop bags and trash bins throughout the area. Everything was great except for the water quality, which would be expected in this part of SoCal. What's important is that my dog loved Rosie's Dog Beach and we'll be going back for sure.

I went to this beach from 8 to 9:30. It was very quiet at that time in the morning with only a few other people walking their dogs along the beach and on the walkway. The beach had places where they provided doggie bags and waste containers. It also had a dog water fountain. There was plenty of parking both paid and street. And they had public restrooms. It was very enjoyable.

Always love this beach! The bathrooms are for the most relatively clean, and they sweep up the sand so there isn't anything to hurt the pup's paws out there!! We love throwing events here as well, always incredible vibes and great people. All the pup's I saw were super cute and friendly, definitely going to bring mine next time! There's also plenty of trashcans to clean up!

Much love for Rosie’s Dog Beach! Our dogs Pennie & Joe Cocker always have a good time! We see a variety of dogs, all having a blast, and the people with them have always been friendly & responsible about “clean up”. There’s a super convenient parking lot right next to the sand! It is “pay”, but reasonable rates & easy to do! Plus, there’s restrooms, showers, and drinking fountains for people AND for pooches 🐾 plus pick up bags if you need them! Always a good day at the dog beach! 🐾

Lots of parking and easy to find. Not too crowded and it's probably because there is a ton of trash that is along the shoreline. Very unfortunate. If I come back, I'll probably bring a few trash bags and a grabbing tool to do a little clean up. I was very worried my dog would step on something and hurt himself because of how much trash there is here. My dog had a good time though.

An area for dogs to run wild on the beach, their own space in between the cones. The joy and excitement from our furry friends make this a great escape and memorable. Street parking makes it less costly of a trip if on a tight budget.Good planets are hard to find; these days this beach is really slowing the negative impacts of humanity (especially after the rainstorms).

Great place to take your dog on a nice day. The waves are fairly small and don’t seem to have a ton of undercurrent close to the beach. Most importantly, there is plenty of parking (Paid).

We had such a good day there. They are dog friendly, of course, rest room were clean, lots of concession stands. No picnic areas but we brought our own blankets. We had alot of fun.

We always have a good time. Please don’t bring food because the dogs will go after you and it’s not their fault. Besides that everybody’s really chill there no problems with any dogs or owners. The water sucks because of the break water but that’s to be expected. Always give your dog a bath after they go in that water.

  • 4/5 Kat 5 months ago on Google
First time here. A small stretch of beach designated for off leash dogs. I Fair amount of trash not nearly as clean or large as Huntington dog beach. But a good experience for the dogs to play in the water.

Fun experience as a 1st timer driving down from west LA! People were very friendly. Also was pretty surprised by how clean it was considering it was a dog beach. Luna had a wonderful time swimming too. In short, we will be coming back here for sure 🙏🙏

My dog has a good time here. A lot of parking. If you don't mind walking a little bit far, park behind the beach parking. All dog met are friendly, also with the owner of the dog. Make sure you have enough of water for the dog, so you don't have to do walk to refill the water on the water tank.

  • 5/5 Mitchell W. 4 months ago on Google
This is a fantastic off leash dog park. Make sure your dog is leashed until in the zone marked by the dog sculptures and signs. In the winter, it is not busy often. Some dog owners may not have control of there dogs in my experience.

  • 4/5 Mark R. 2 years ago on Google
I used to live in long Beach and I would frequent this beach. It's great to bring your dog and run on the beach or play. The area for dogs is small but sufficient. If you don't bring the dog you are only feet away from the non-dog areas on either side. Most people clean up after their dogs and the few that don't are animals themselves and should also be lead on a leash. Check it out.

  • 5/5 Aisha M. P. 7 months ago on Google
Great Dog beach! My Diesel and Taquito had a fantastic time. They allow off leash and the other dogs and parents are good spirited. It's a great way to spend hot day. Also.. short walk from parking to Dog beach

  • 5/5 Pete M. 5 months ago on Google
A wonderful dog beach, and one of the first of it’s kind in the southland. Tons of space for your pup to run and enjoy the water year round. Even if you don’t have a dog, it’s a great place to go and just see other dogs having fun! It’s truly one of the happiest places and I have so many memories there with our dog. Love this place!

  • 4/5 Lisa B. 10 months ago on Google
Great large, clean white sand beach with tons of space and paved lanes to bike or jog, etc. Dogs love it so bring your pet. Also, right on the beach, buy an ice cream or mango man treat. There's plenty of parking and a great neighborhood with shops just a few blocks away. Thumbs up!!!

  • 5/5 Chris T. 11 months ago on Google
This rare off-leash beach is an amazing playground for dogs and kids alike. The area is watched by lifeguards and frequented by ice cream vendors. Plenty of parking and bathrooms nearby. Note that there can be stingrays in the water. This is not well marked on the beach and can lead to very painful stings. It is not advisable to get into the shallow water, especially in the afternoon, but if you do, move your feet frequently in small steps. Consult a lifeguard if stung.

  • 5/5 Gaby M. 8 months ago on Google
This was my girl’s first time going to the beach! We drove all the way from Venice just to check it out and she had a wonderful time! There’s a nice big parking lot and it was relatively cheap to park there. We went on a Friday and there were a decent amount of people and their pups with them but it wasn’t too crowded. The area itself was much larger than I expected. While I saw most people picking up after their dogs, given that it’s an off leash area, there were still some poops around. So watch where you’re walking! I highly recommend and will definitely make the trip back.
