Wonderful place to spend an afternoon. You get sunshine, fresh air, boats, water, and the city as your backdrop. Walk up to the light tower for a panoramic view. They have scooters and bikes you can rent. We spent the most beautiful day here people watching, rolling down the hill, foot race, and even made flower necklaces like we did in grade school. My godson made me make ten so he could give them out to all the women in his life (grandma, aunts, mama, etc.). He collected flowers and made me sit there until he had one for everyone. He also made me roll down the hill (not as easy as it looks). We snacked on gold fishes and dum dums. The boys did NOT want to leave but we had lunch reservations. It was the most wonderful day and it cost next to nothing

It's been a while since I last visited back in 2017-18 and not much has changed. The water is still dirty by where the boats are stationed and nothing is done about it. Other than that it's a great area to relaxed and have a picnic. It's next to the aquarium of the Pacific and you can see the Carnival cruise and the Queen Mary.

Beautiful sun rises. While I was in town I walked here every morning to watch the sun come up. Very clean and peaceful. 100% would recommend taking some time to walk around this park.

Gorgeous area for a nice stroll and plenty of family friendly activities nearby. The marathon commutative benches are neat, and the lighthouse with the historical photos and facts is fascinating. Be sure to read up, they are on the windows of the lighthouse!

Love this place but it does get a little crowded on the weekend. Nice view off the Queen Mary and cruise ships.

Having visited here a few times before. Once to the Aquarium and once beside the Lighthouse for a music video. I never realized it all fell under Shoreline Village. The part I took from my visit this time was getting to explore the whole area, walking from parking lot to the lighthouse you will walk past all the stores and restaurants and the Aquarium. With current restrictions I would say I noticed more than you would if it was busier. As we started off we saw the Queen Mary and as I pointed out to my Son this ship was built on the River Clyde in Scotland (he has been there - I am from Scotland) nice to know another part of where I am from is here. We took some pictures but the real reason for my visit was the Lighthouse, how to get there. Yes we could have taken a ride on one of the many tours, next time. We walked around the whole area, as you walk round the Shoreline and pass the stores, restaurants and the Aquarium. It sunk in (no pun) that how close I had been to everything upon my last visits. All intertwined with the Lighthouse as if I had ventured up the hill it would have been clear what was there. The walk up to the Lighthouse and once up to the top of the hill you truly get to see along beach in all her glory. The Lions Lighthouse is a non functional lighthouse, it was erected as a tribute by the Lions Club in the year 2000. Along with Parker’s Lighthouse that looks spectacular from Lions Lighthouse. For me to go back at night time and experience Long Beach at night I feel is a whole other experience. Parking we parked adjacent to Shenanigans and for our time there cost us $10 stores and restaurants are reasonably priced, we saw a kiosk called “Smile for the Birdie” those birds looked stunning and my Son said they are huge, they were. The range of activities on and off the water is nicely balanced, something for everyone. The view from Lions Lighthouse of Long Beach was truly worth the walk and something we don’t do everyday. Highly recommend and be prepared to be in awe.... Thanks to all for our experience one we truly enjoyed and will repeat.

Very appealing urban oasis located on a peninsula easily accessible from "Downtown" Long Beach. The Aquarium is adjacent, as are various tour boats bookable for short harbor cruises. The lighthouse is situated at the top of the hill which comprises most of the green space. Truly a gem and worth a visit.

Located at the end of LA river bike path and just south of Long Beach downtown, this waterfront park has scenic open green space to walk, chill, and play. The views are fantastic, highlighted by the beautiful lighthouse on a small mount at the tip of the park. For people who don't drive, there is a walking path by the convention center that connects the shoreline park with downtown Long Beach.

Great place to go scooter riding. You can scooter all the way down to the boardwalk and eat at restaurant, then you can scooter to the lighthouse, across the bridge to the Queen Mary and the Rusty submarine. There's so much to see and do in such a small yet beautifully open spaced and well maintained and designed area. It's my go-to place to get away to the ocean because it's close, and be able to scooter without having to go on a road. Also pricey, but good restaurants at the boardwalk if you're hungry as well as side walk vendors along the beach.

I don't think people give Long Beach enough credit for this place especially with all the shopping and food places are around and overall grade sunsets a great walk in the park to on stress and just ponder about life. I've got their something so families couples people exercising and I've been coming here for years I can't wait for decades to pass at the skyline gets better

Breathtaking views of Long Beach harbor and the Queen Mary. A great place to sit and just take in the scenery - have a coffee, a picnic, or whatever. The lighthouse is located very near shoreline village, with restaurants and shops to visit. On a windy day, it’s a great place to fly a kite!

Came here after the Aquarium and it was a beautiful summer night with a cool breeze. The area very well kept and clean. Lots of restaurants nearby and the aquarium of course.

Parking is a bit of a mess, but the views make it all worth it! We went for the 4th of July to watch the fireworks near the queen Mary. If you decide to do this, be prepared to arrive no later than 8 AM (Yes in the morning) to secure a good spot. Also, be prepared for said spot to be invaded by people who failed to plan and still want to reap the benefits of a good viewing location. 😂

Cute little park surrounded by water with walking paths. Excellent views of Shoreline Village, the Queen Mary, and the Pacific Ocean. Perfect little spot for a date night. Go have dinner in Downtown Long Beach or Shoreline Village, then take a stroll at Shoreline Aquatic Park.

I love bringing my pup for a nice afternoon or evening stroll here! There’s lots of people here with kids, so it has family vibes. In addition, there’s always people playing Pokémon, so it also has that community vibe. My favorite are the views of the marina.

I haven't visited this area in a while so I decided to go see what's going on this beautiful mid-70s day, a lot of people out. A lot of homeless and different elements in this area probably wouldn't visit at night. It's amazing though people just standing out in the open smoking weed at least five or six different times I smelt it going around the area, no big deal, just how it is.

A great place to take your love one to walk around and see the big and small boats and the pier. This area has many restaurants, shopping places, and attractions. You can get on a boat ride to the sea and enjoy the day. A wonderful place to get to know the beautiful side of Long Beach, for sure.

A great place to see the waterfront of Long Beach from the Lions Lighthouse landmark. I like to think this is the best public view park in Long Beach! From the end, looking out to the south east, the Queen Mary and Long Beach Cruise Center Dome are visible. Looking east is the Long Beach small craft marina and Shoreline Village. Northeast is the Long Beach Business District and fancy Ocean Avenue Condo’s. It’s a cool place to bring a basket or bag of food and have a lunch while watching the boats go by! It may be a bit crowded on weekends and holidays, so getting there early ensure’s a place in the sun! With that mention, I’d recommend having appropriate skin protection of sleeves, hats and sunscreen. 212 Golden Shore Parking is the nearest lot, also with close access to the Aquarium of the Pacific and Seashell Park, where public restroom’s and the food is available.

Nice place to take a walk around the shoreline. Visited this park many times over the years and always find something interesting to see. The city does a good job to keep the park clean, plenty of places to relax from benches to grassy spots. Seen folks have picnic here which I want to do at one point. Wheelchair friendly as well, plenty of place and walkways for access and vantage points!

We had the best time celebrating a birthday here. Someone was hired to do the set up which was on the lawn by the lighthouse. It was very simple but really elegant. The birthday girl and all the guest were super impressed and we all enjoyed a marvelous afternoon in this peaceful, fun, crowd-filled area. When I say crowd-filled, i mean that in a good way. Lots of people enjoying themselves doing their own thing. So many things are to do but not soo horribly crowded that it's a miserable time. It was a perfect day .... in my opinion. Would definitely come back for more.

Near the aquarium they have porta potties they were all filthy. With all the revenue shoreline is making, you would think they have people to maintain the porta potties. There were feces on the seats urine on the floor. Also they did not have a water source to wash your hands. How does the City of Long Beach allow this? This is not very sanitary especially with a covid-19.
