I had the steak and fries, and I literally cut my steak with my fork, just perfectly done! Fries were excellent as well. And they had a great beer and wine list. To top it off, the service was wonderful, and it is a nicely laid out dining space. We will absolutely be going back!

Very cool bistro! The owners are friendly and welcoming. They have created a unique dining experience as this bistro is a mini art gallery and a cool place to hang out. They offer use of whole restaurant if you are interested in having an event arranged. They care about details so be ready for a nice experience! By: cmilton111 Google Guide 7.28.2018

Saturday morning brunch was fantastic. Strolled in around 11:00am to a nearly empty dining area which had me worried. But as soon as we sat the wait staff was right over getting us water and welcoming us. Menu isn't too big and has a great German twist on breakfast classic. The sausage and bacon are a must alonng with the Monte Cristo and German pancake. Sign in on Yelp at get BOGO coupon for champagne which went great with brunch. All in all if you're looking for a great open space with an industrial vibe serving fantastic slightly upscale German style food come here and get your brunch on.

Terrific and unpretentious food. French/German/Belgian cuisine. Wonderful beer and wine, but don't expect 70 taps - everything keeps to the intended pallate. The staff are majority veterans, and full of enthusiasm and passion for food. A wonderful time. Sometimes short staffed and have heard of bad wait times, but I did not experience this personally.

Alsatian-inspired cuisine from locally sourced Californian ingredients. They have partnerships with local ranchers and farmers who provide fresh, organic meat and produce. Using carefully procured ingredients in the peak of season and of the highest quality, the menu changes frequently with the season. Claimed by France and Germany throughout history, the Alsace region of France has developed a food culture completely its own. From house-cured ham and the “best bacon” in Long Beach (LA Weekly) to fresh vegetable plates and vegan salads, we serve cuisine inspired by French country fair. That was their words no for mine. The food here is some of the best I've had. It's farm to table concept has been perfected by chef Alex. Their in house cured bacon was voted best bacon in Long Beach and that's just a topping for their ground steak and beef grass fed beef burger among other things. To give you an idea of the love care and expertise that goes into just one of his specialty dishestoday he prepared a twelve day brined and smoked ham. This ham was by far the best ham I have ever had, it was super moist and practically melted in you mouth, it was food of the Gods. I could go on and on but this is one restaurant you must experiance. On top of that you must hear the story behind this veteran owned and staffed restaurant.

I tried the Caulifalafel with a side salad and fries, that I have forgotten the exact name of. The food was absolutely delicious, everything was made from scratch. I don't typically use ketchup, but it was delicious here. I've posted a picture below, but please note, that I was starving and destroyed the plating.

From location, service, drink, food, dessert, to personnel this place is perfect! Dan and his staff are artisans and down to earth people that make you feel at home. We've dined a few times with our baby and have never been disappointed by the experience or food. It's our go to for our carnivore cravings but they have a selection from food to wine to beers. And always got a great Tuesday special
