This was the 1st time coming here for my dad and I. In my opinion the food was delicious but it was not to my dad's liking. I guess it all depends on our own food preferences. They provided a side of what chips which were delicious. The waiter was really nice. Afterwards we asked if we could leave our car parked there for a bit so that we can go kayaking and they were kind enough to let us leave it there.

Pretty good overall. Large wine and beer selection although we don't drink so cannot comment much on that. Nice atmosphere. We came here on a Groupon which was a good deal but most likely wouldn't come here without a Groupon as the prices seem a bit high although in this area, I guess you pay more than inland areas.

We came in at the perfect time to have the place to ourselves. Watched some Mrs. Doubt while we had some yummy snacks. Coconut shimp was super good!!

Amazing staff! Karaoke nights with Peggie are a all out blast on her Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays! The food is amazing, and your bartender Hannah is the best!

I'm not sure if this is the same place as "Sunset Lounge Bottoms Up (Brix), but here is the same review I left for them. The band, Stolen Rhythm, played the show on Halloween weekend (2022) and was great! One blonde bartender with big legs was a jerk with an attitude. The other blonde was friendly. Incorrect prices are listed on display. Makes you feel like they are ripping you off when they don't tell you the price, take your money, and charge you more than you think it is.

We came out see our friend Bill perform with his band. First time to this wine bar, they are in the midst of changing ownership so seems a bit understaffed. However, service was courteous and friendly. It was a nice group of us coming to see Bill. Music was awesome, by the way. We got lucky and sat at the last seats available at the bar. Definitely my preferred seating location. Good view of the musicians. Good accessibility to the bartenders too! We had a few glasses of wine each. Ordered the sautéed mushrooms and toasted baguette, but that night they served with pita bread which was good anyway. Also ordered the coconut shrimp with sweet and sour sauce. Tasty. Probably should have ordered like a burger or something, because I definitely drank more than I ate. (Yes, we did take lyft here! Don't drink and drive!!) We also had a good beer to top off our evening. It was something peanut buttery. WOW. Good stuff. Need to come back for beer nite.

We rode bikes from HB and were looking for a place to have lunch where we could sit outside. We rode up to Brix, we were welcomed in and offered to bring our bikes in the gated area. Scotty the server greeted us and talked about the menu. He suggested the "Fugghedaboutit" pastrami sandwich. My mom and I ordered the Brix house salad, I really wanted the try the Mediterranean bowl but they were out of that and thr thai shrimp salad. Scotty was great and very informative, he shared some history of the place and was nice company in between bringing food and drinks. It was 12 on a Monday so we were the only people there. Service was great and I'll probably go back.

Ordered a slushy drink off the menu. Bartender made it on ice. When I explained to her that I wanted the exact version I pointed to... 16 oz. Slushy. She explained to me she really doesnt know how to make that one. She can call her manager and ask, but she doesnt know how long it will take... She's the only one here. Ordered chicken tenders and garlic fries. It was great. 👌🏾 Ordered wings a lil soggy for my taste. 😬 Salad was good... And Fish tacos were medicore. The music selection was nice reggae. And my server was friendly and helpful.

Absolutely a hidden gem! First off the food is your normal bar fare but it is absolutely delicious! Second, the atmosphere at night is incredible! It is definitely a mixed bag but so satisfying as well. Final Score: Perfect Score!! I love this place! Thank you for bringing a place to Sunset Beach where all your patrons can feel at home!!! Sunset Lounge is a super awesome location!

Great atmosphere. They were out of several items which we didn't know about until after we ordered and then had to make adjustments to our order. Gina was attentive and had a great personality. I'd go back to because of her!

Food delicious. HOWEVER service was terrible. Unfortunately hostes never bothered to ask, can I get you water, refill drink, catchup...etc anything. Too bad, won't return.

I took my girl here for karaoke night on a Saturday. It was a fun group. Somebody had a birthday party there with a bounce house. They should do that every weekend. Rhw karaoke setup is excellent. There are three screens, and the selection of music seems to be about infinite. The dj knew what he was doing. Well drinks here are reasonable. They have a selection of IPAs and such on tap. I didn't try the food. The kitchen closes at 10 normally, but I'm told sometimes it stays open later. The crowd is mixed. Some young, some old. Everybody's on a pretty good vibe, at least the one time I went so far. The dress and overall feel is very casual. You can order at the bar or wherever you're sitting, and they'll bring it to you. The servers were friendly. One made me a cocktail she'd never made before. I appreciated the effort. We'll be back.

The Restaurant and BAR sign is amazing, my friends and I have been talking about it while eating at the phenomenal Calico Fish Restaurant across the street. Haven’t been in but love the sunset mural as well.

The truffle butter popcorn is something worth a try. I also had a decent flatbread. Good little place to watch local bands

The Broughams blues/ rock band were a perfect compliment for a great place. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed The Sunset Lounge. I highly recommend!

The pastrami sandwich was just ok. Nothing like Jerry's famous deli or Nate & Al's in Los Angeles. Music is hit and miss. This place is a big disappointment.

All of the Staff were Great! Love the IPA's! The PastramiI!! Karaoke on Sunday was really Fun and after 6 Beers I think that someone got Me up there with a group to sing a song. But Amanda and the Bartender Killed It!!

Nice little dive bar out here in Sunset Beach. Had some excellent fish and chips, coconut shrimp and pizza. Tonight they had karaoke which is a nice touch. Patrons are very friendly and encouraging.

We were very apprehensive when we first walked in. They assured us the food was great. We were not disappointed, burger (great) pastrami sandwich (really good) what a joy we will be back.

I visited the bar on a Saturday night with a group of friends, hearing that it was THE spot for karaoke. Upon entering the bar, I want to mention that there was no bouncer checking IDs. When I ordered from the bar, I was not carded. About 15 minutes into our evening, my friend was approached by the bartender who served me, who aggressively asked to check her ID. After this encounter, my friend approached the other bartender, Hannah, to communicate that the incident made her uncomfortable. Hannah first said that it was because management was present, but then proceeded to make a comment along the lines of “well it’s probably because you guys are Hispanic, and you tend to, you know, fight.” When I later told Hannah that I did not appreciate her comment and that I would be sure to mention her name in the review, she acted clueless and turned to what I assumed to be was a security team member that was behind the bar with her. I told her that I was leaving and to have a good night. She accused me of yelling at her and asked our group to not return to the bar.
