I placed a take-out order for the tortellini. The tortellini cost $21 and the portion was very small (I think total 7 tortellini). Quite disappointing considering the price, the taste was good.

Absolutely the best pizzas! I enjoyed the knife and fork method they recommended to enjoy their pizza. They do offer to slice if you like as well. Service was not only excellent it was fun and friendly. I had a wonderful dining experience in every way. I will be here often.

Yes, pizza is good, wood oven cooked. But I can't get used to paying $20+ for a simple pizza with no fancy ingredients.

Yes, we loved it. We are 5 and we tried the following: meatballs, prosciutto w/glazed pear, spaghetti w/meat sauce (it's egg pasta) yummy, mushroom pizza w/jam, shrimp salad. All was yummy, nice portions, nice people there. Really recommended. And yes, Italian food.

Service and Food 4/5. This place seems to be popular and was a 15-20min wait to sit. Has both indoor seating and outdoor seating with heaters - there is also a large table with a fire pit in the middle but is a great option if you are there with a large party. Service was very slow early on and we waited about 5-7mins before a server came over. And then the server maybe came by another 2-3 times The food also came out slowly with the caprese salad coming first before any of the drinks. The Delle Casa is quite bland and we had to put a lot of the chilli oil to had some flavor. The Gnocchi special of the night was great. It was in an eggplant based sauce - we were skeptical on how this would taste but it was great (we almost cleaned the plate). The penne with marinara was also good.

Went with a friend for lunch while our overall experience was pleasant we think that the dishes we ordered need a bit of reworking. A $50 individual pizza with truffle was a miss. So was the ravioli.

I wish there were 6-stars that I could give to this restaurant and the executive chef. I started with a cup of latte which was silky and smooth. Then I accepted the recommendation of the waitress/manager to try the black truffle pasta. Please be reminded that the price is a bit more than the regular pasta but it's worth what I paid for. The linguine was hand-made so it was so al dente. The other dish I had was shrimp and clam diavola. It was so tasty and refreshing. Last but not least, the tiramisu was so interesting. Please try biting the strawberry and then the tiramisu, you will find the tiramisu is more sweet and tasty. You can feel the sincerity of the chef by every little details of the food. If you like Italian food in Long Beach, this restaurant is a must-try!

An exceptional evening! We really enjoyed ourselves! Top service! Manager Clare takes great care of her customers! The pizzas 🍕 are made over a wood fire by the best Italians! The truffle burger is so delicious! We're French and recommend this restaurant! The atmosphere is very cool with the open kitchen and the wood-fired pizza oven warms hearts ♥️

Amazing! Best pizza I have had outside of Naples, Italy! The food is fantastic and the service is impeccable (ask for Jesse). I have been to a lot of Italian restaurants around the world and this one tops the list thanks to Executive Chef Giuseppe, who is from Italy. I hope you can share in a great experience.

The Margherita pizza was delicious! It was just the right amount of cheese, dough, sauce and toppings. The dough nice and soft. I recommend this spot and I’m Italian. It can be hard to find good Italian restaurants and real pizza.

Nice little gem tucked away in downtown Long Beach. We weren't originally planning on going there but decided to give it a try when we looked at the menu. So glad we did. Food was awesome and the service was great.

Had a really nice evening here! We ordered drinks, apps and dinner. The staff was friendly and really knew their stuff about the menu. There were a ton of specials which they rattled off easily and answered questions on. The outdoor seating was a nice change! We had the lasagna, pizza and the Brie appetizer. All the food was delicious, really well thought out and conceptualized. My only complaint was once we were all done it took a good 20-25 minutes to get the check, and we were so tired. We just wanted to go sleep off all the carbs!

We were at The Stave and ordered the Margherita pizza it took 45 mins to get to our table, and it was cold. We asked for another one, and it came back in 10 mins, and I'm pretty sure they took it back, heated it, and gave it back. The pizza was not anything to be proud of. Stave is a nice place, but the pizza from Michael's was not good at all. Would definitely not order again

This was my first time here, the service was good, the ambiance was nice and the charcuterie board was also good, the oxtail gnocchi was unfortunately chewy and I didn’t enjoy it much. Although the drinks were great. 6/10

Food was amazing! Everything was fresh and delicious. We sat at the bar and chatted with the executive chef while he prepared our lunch. Chef was very kind and gave us a free pizza to taste in addition to what we had already ordered. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, highly recommend!

Let me preface this by saying I've ONLY BEEN THERE FOR COFFEE ☕ I've lived so close and still haven't been there for food yet but they did just start serving coffee and I went down there today and I've got to say I will definitely be going back and the service is why! There was two people at the front and immediately I was greeted with a smile and such a happy tone for it to be first thing in the morning, they were so friendly but not overbearing and the recommended a vanilla latte which turned out to be very yummy! Now I guess I have to go back for food at some point 😅

So this was my first time going to this restaurant inspite of passing them by a million times... I think this has become my favorite Italian restaurant! We ordered the wood fried vegetables, kale/Burrata salad, Spinach Ricotta Ravioli and the Pistachio cheesecake... each of the items were way beyond excellent!!! True authentic fresh very tasty flavors! And they didn’t make me feel heavy but nice and light! No matter what you order here, trust me, you won’t regret any! Besides all the items on their menu is so unique! The chef I was told was from Italy..! No doubt the food was over delicious! My favorite Italian restaurant from now on.. can’t wait for until after Easter to go there again!

This restaurant seems not busy so we walked in. Bus boy is courteous. Waitress came in and told us the long summary of menu special for the day. We order our favorite pasta and drinks. Drinks took soo long. After a long wait for our food (dry food), We reminded the waitress about our cocktails. This place is not busy. What are they doing? My first time going here and the last time.

Was a bit surprised with my 5 star rating as when I walked in the place was empty after trying to book a reservation and none were available for 2 hours. I sat at the chef’s counter and got to watch the executive chef interact with his team. Giuseppe A. Musso is his name and it was wonderful to see his respectful instruction, mentoring and demeanor with his staff and the wait staff. He led them along the way and respectfully corrected misses. Michael’s is very lucky to have him. I has the meatballs which were very tender and flavorful and then the meat pizza which was executed beautifully with the perfect amount of toppings. Service was pleasant, personable and helpful. I will be back when in the area for sure. Give it a try!

Great service, great food. I added a dash of salt and it really made the flavors pop. The outdoor dining area is really nice. So many plants, and heaters if you’re cold.

Valentine's Day Prix Fixe Menu was perfect. Great portions and flavors. We have also been for regular menu dinner and it was great as well.
