Stopped by this hopping neighborhood cafe and was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the veggie omelet that came with potatoes and toast. Other sides are available. It was loaded and topped with lots of veggies and cheese and avocado and a dollop of sour cream. The potatoes were crispy, the sourdough toast was hot and buttery. Great meal. Great service. A lot of food for the price. I’m leaving happy and full.

Gave the 18” pancake a shot but only got halfway through it😂. The chilaquiles were by far my favorite although everything we had was super good. The potatoes, the sausage, and the COFFEE…the coffee is amazing. The service was just as good as the food 👌🏽 Can’t wait to be back!

Delightfully quaint great food. We celebrated my husband's birthday this morning and we were very glad we went there it was our first time.

I was really happy to see the vegan options and the breakfast burrito was delicious. I was delighted that they had other options besides fried potatoes, healthier options such as spinach or sliced tomatoes. I was a little confused by the seating sign up list outside but when I entered I realized it was half empty. Our food server was extremely friendly and efficient and helpful. Has a little bit of a vintage vibe to it. It's bigger inside than it looks from the outside. Glad I stopped in.

Wish I can give more than 5 stars to the restaurant. Service was amazing. Our server Bryce was attentive and awesome! Got their waffle and chicken! Their chicken was crispy and their waffles were yummy! We are definitely coming back and asking for him.

Servers are always friendly and food is good. Last weekend I took my Granddaughter here with our new puppy. We sat outside and the waitress was very nice to my Granddaughter and Pup. She made us feel very welcome. Long Beach love can be found here for sure.

Ex fan of The Potholder here. Their quality of food has gone down drastically, particularly at their Broadway location. Ordered Tim’s Dugout which used to be my favorite, but they switched the steak for cut up steak bits which are overcooked. They didn’t serve the sauce on the cream cheese french toast. I saw them pouring their “fresh squeezed” orange juice out of a gallon and even inquired about it, to which the server told me they buy it bottled. Hurts me to say that while this was a LB staple, the quality is not what it used to be.

Haven’t been here for a while . This place used to be a Great Place to eat . Sadly it has gone Downhill. Management has maybe changed ? Service bad . Table Rocks uncontrollably. Coffee Cold . Restroom appears to have not been cleaned in a while.Homeless Nut Job outside to greet you when you Arrive . Appears to be living under one of the outside Tables . I might visit one of the other locations. But not coming back to this one . All Bad .SAD 😔

Tasty food, great atmosphere, and wonderful service! Great spot for some brunch, if you can tackle an 18 inch pancake you get a free shirt! I tried valiantly and failed 🥞😂

So happy we stumbled upon this place! Visiting from out of state and reviews raved the gluten free pancakes and waffles so I had to check it out! If you’re celiac it’s a must! Servers were personable & friendly! Met the owners and expressed they take the food allergies seriously which is every celiac’s dream! Pancakes were absolute fire - great flavor & NOT DRY! A definite must check out!

This place exceeded my expectations and more importantly put a smile on both of our faces. Located just down the street in a corner building, the sign is easily readable, had a 50s vintage feel and says "cafe". We decided to stop here for breakfast and the service was prompt, friendly, and professional. The waitresses consistently checked in on us without being interruptive and always wearing a huge smile! 10/10 A+ would definitely come back again.

The breakfast is awesome the service is just as awesome. They didn't come around asking if everything was good and I like that because it's great not to get interrupted when eating and having a conversation with family. This place is great and will be back.

The wait was short. The service was good. The food was low quality. BLT -The bacon was overcooked, and the toast over done. The potatoes were cold. Even a second serving was terrible. I would not visit again.

Ordered banana nut pancakes combo which came with 2 eggs and bacon and they served me raw batter which is not a big deal but owner didn’t even take it off the bill instead gave a discount to the meal. Offered to remake the pancake but after you take a bite of raw batter your kind of turned off to the idea of pancakes. The money wasn’t the problem it was the way it was approached. Horrible manners. Won’t be back and I’m sad because we actually really liked this place but the attitude towards the solution was not appeasing.

We drove from san bernardino to long beach to try this place out honestly very upset with the food, biscuits and gravy need flavor to watery pancake if you dont try to eat it as soon it arrives the batter will dry up and the waybit feels after that not very taste at all. My florentine just no words. We wont be their again but at least we gave it a chance.

Server took my order over the phone and made my chorizo gluten free Benedict a reality. Thank you so much! These restaurants are individually managed. This pot holder is the best!

Great space!! Cool old building that they have made very charming. They were short handed hut our server was super sweet and took great care of us. Food was great!!! Omelettes were full of ingredients and flavor. Breakfast potatoes were delicious!! Give them a try!!!

Good breakfast. Except children's fruity pebble french toast is microwaved, while the regular french toast was made fresh. Flavor was fine but my kid didn't like the texture.

We have eaten here two times, and based off that alone we brought our friend who was visiting to breakfast here (and it did not disappoint). We literally cleaned our plates. The outside is in the shade, so great for a warm morning/afternoon. The service is great, friendly and precise, always a killer combo.

Always a solid choice! Bottomless mimosas, great menu variety, gluten free waffles and pancakes! They have great breakfast enchiladas, and we haven’t had anything there that we didn’t love.

This place is so delicious and very comfortable to dine at in a nice casual outdoor seating area. So nice to enjoy an amazing breakfast meal while visiting California, even during this crazy pandemic. Staff are super friendly and handle food and customers with care. Don’t miss this place if you’re near.

Service was slow. I asked for blueberries and whip cream on my waffle. The blueberries weren't fresh. I think my partner's pancakes were warm, but our bacon and eggs and my waffles were cold. Our waitress, on the 3 occasions we saw her was nice, but unavailable. Easily the worst meal on our vacation.

This is a great spot to have breakfast. Many many choices to choose from and it’s all delicious. It’s a bit like a hole in the wall type of location that doesn’t seem like much but their menu is impressive. For sure a place to check out when staying in the Belmont Shores/Long Beach area.

Came here with the family and everyone enjoyed their breakfasts! The service was great and the food was amazing. My waffles totally hit that comfort food spot and the cinnamon was a great touch. The omelette menu is huge too! You can definitely find what you’re looking for no matter what your craving is. Also, they have $12 bottomless mimosas on Saturday so I’ll have to be back for that!

Was not impressed. The pancake syrup tasted like cough medicine, the pancake was under cooked. Scratching my head about why there is a line to eat here. The shinning light was the hostess who was cheerful, pleasing and Gave great service as we waited. She needs a raise for great customer care.
